“Congratulations to the Trump administration on reaching a preliminary agreement in principle to begin negotiations with half of America's NAFTA counterparties with a view to revising one section of the trade agreement!” That’s like announcing that you’re moving to a new house and congratulating yourself on your ambitious plan to go through half the rooms of the old house in order to collect enough things to pack in one box. In principle, of course.

Reportedly, children who were on school field trips to visit the Capitol! For shame. FYI to all: And Latina legislative staffers who were escorted by white colleagues back to the building after lunch. The immigration protesters then pointed at the darkest staffer and said she should “Go home” and then painted at a white staffer and said she could stay. They’re harassing people who they are convinced look undocumented. Reminds me of the Pea who reported here in 2016 that she spied with her very own eyes non-citizens voting in California, so Trump’s three million claim is probably right. (The Native American legislator was also questioned by protesters that day based on skin color. Contrary to what the posted tweet implies, it doesn’t seem like anybody is stupid enough to generally doubt the “legality” of indigenous peoples. Yet.) I remember that 2016 thread quite well. Some time ago, I read a very interesting article in Psychology Today that posited Trump has been extraordinarily successful in creating a condition of existential threats that actually trigger the brain to respond positively to bigoted statements. This could explain why despite all that’s happened already, protesters such as this deplorable group are even more animated and empowered now.

Notice how well that’s going. But some of the responses on twitter are great like this one from One Candian’s view... “To be fair to Trump, he's been busy eliminating the nuclear from Iran and North Korea, building a wall paid for by Mexico, bringing peace to the middle east and making coal great again. There's only so many hours in a day...” 😀 Anythingvto distract from his asshole and petty behavior re: McCain. Fucker.

trump supporters really are pretty stupid aren’t they if this is true. James F Haning II “Trump supporters continue to question if Arizona State Rep. Eric Descheenie, a Navajo American legislator, is here ‘illegally’. Let that level of stupid sink in for a moment.” And it’s even more important to highlight the harassment of CHILDREN at the protest that prompted this just because they were brown-skinned, repeatedly yelling at them, “You’re illegal. Go home!” I don’t have any difficulty accepting the fact that people will protest their side all the time, stupidity notwithstanding. I draw the line at victimizing children, any child. There is no reason on the face of this earth that will ever justify that. Liz, I don’t know who you are but you are one of the most intelligent and insightful posters. Somehow I think you are someone, “in the know”. I think I even suggested before that you are Hillary. In any event,I seriously missed you when you were gone. Continue to post. I love hearing from you. You are my girl crush

Jennifer Rubin..
“McCain forgave the country where he was tortured. Trump never forgets a slight. McCain thought the best of America. Trump thinks we're suckers, easily riled up by racial animus. McCain was intellectually curious and fun. Trump aself-absorbed bore.”
Yup.

NBC News... “President Trump declines to comment when asked multiple times in the Oval Office for his thoughts on the death of John McCain.” Such a petty little man. I almost wish they wouldn't even ask him. I wish that somehow someway this piece of shit was NO part of the narrative as we mourn Senator McCain this week. He isn't worthy of even being a part of the discussion. Let his lack of words and action speak for itself. This is always a dramatic phrase, but it fits for me right now...John McCain's name should not be in that vile man's mouth.

In principle - so basically they think it's a good idea in theory 3. To Begin - Let's agree to start 4. Negotiations - which only means we're gonna say what *we* want 5. Half the counterparties - because only half would agree to #s 1-4? 6. Have a view - See #2 7. To revise - See #4 8. One section - out of how many??? DUDE this is YUGE! Let's have a PARADE!!!

NPR.. “The top student loan watchdog, Seth Frotman, has resigned from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, arguing that its current leadership has undermined efforts to protect student borrowers. In a scathing resignation letter, Frotman says the current leadership "has turned its back on young people and their financial futures." The letter was addressed to Mick Mulvaney, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's acting director.” Yea trump & company is sure making America great again. Not sure how we are all going to be handle all this success. Making it great again for the bankers.

Kyle Griffin...
“Trump "spent the weekend calling people and screaming," one former White House official tells VF. According to sources, Trump feels cornered with no clear way out.”
VF is Vanity Fair.
To show you how really dumb trump is. Anyone with a half a brain knows if you run for public office, especially President of the United States, you had better not be hiding anything BECAUSE SOMEONE WILL FIND OUT!

Not sure how we are all going to be handle all this success. Well, I’m personally tired of “winning.” When you have a Dept of Education that considers the rollback of protections for student loan borrowers a GOOD thing, one has to wonder what in the devil these politicians are putting in their coffee. In what universe is it BETTER to protect deceptive lenders and abusive learning institutions than people seeking higher education? In what education legislation does it say we should sacrifice the financial protections of students so we can allow lenders to do as they please? Where does it even say that jurisdiction over this matter belongs to Devos and NOT the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as Devos INSISTS? Did the earth tilt the opposite direction while we were all asleep? States have been legislating protections for their own students and this government is actually reasoning that state rules (to protect consumers!) undermine the fed’s goal of a streamlined loan program, to wit loan companies, not student borrowers, are their priority. Yes, I am tired of winning.

I am truly at a loss for words. GOP senator: McCain is 'partially to blame' for controversy over White House flags"Well, you know, frankly, I think that John McCain is partially to blame for that because he is very outspoken," Inhofe told reporters, according to CNN. "He disagreed with the president in certain areas and wasn't too courteous about it." Inhofe during a floor speech about McCain on Monday referred to him as a "hero."

Because kneeling in front of the flag to peacefully protest social injustice is offensive, but using the flag as a political tool against combat veterans and US Senators depending on their political ideology is okay! 🙄. We live in strange times!
