I still have my Cosmo magazine that he posed nude in. RIP Bert My late grandmother had that magazine. I sure wish I had it. It just cracked me up when she'd giggle about the photo. Farewell, Burt, you will be missed.

So sad! He was my aunts neighbor on Jupiter Island. I would vacation there in the summers of high school/college, we got to see him quite a few times.
I really liked him!

I just watched his last movie "The Last Movie Star" a couple of weeks ago. It was sad and sweet. He was always interesting to watch, either in movies or on talk shows. So handsome!

So sad. I loved watching his movies growing up. DH and I will occasionally use a line from some of his movies when the situation calls for it.
Sadly, so many of the actors we loved watching in the 60s and 70s are getting older and passing away.

Weird but true.
Back in '79 or '80, Burt Reynolds' stunt double came and spoke to our drama class. He lived in Tucson (as did I at the time). He looked just like Burt. Really good double.

RIP. ![:(](http://i58.tinypic.com/2i0dtux.jpg) One of DH's favorite movies ever is The Longest Yard (from the 70s). I was just talking with a coworker about movies I loved as a kid and she was surprised I had even seen Cannonball Run and Smokey and the Bandit. Burt and Dom Deluise were always so funny together. Have you seen The End? That's one of my favorite Burt Reynolds/Dom Deluise movies.

We were watching YouTube clips of it at lunch today. Then I saw he had passed. Weird timing.

Years ago, someone gave my mom the BR nuddie picture to my mom with my dad's head plastered on it. I have always been creeped out at the memory and yet kind of felt a special connection to him because of that. I was also a big fan of his Smokey and the Bandit movies. Love it when those songs end up on the 70's stations. RIP, Burt, you will be missed. ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/thumbnailer/sbdIkgbWrKPCDwnYPoYp.png)

They were playing a clip of him on CNN - he was with Johnny Carson and it brought back the memories. He was a great guest on the Tonight Show - and I REALLY miss Johnny Carson!
