Wow, that week went fast, we're on Monday #2! My 2nd sketch is another 2 pager, a very straight forward Scrapbook Generations one that I expected to alter in big ways. Except then I kept it pretty much exactly as shown. I think either side will make great 1 pagers 08 august basic by kirstendrew, on Flickr layout not too big to play by kirstendrew, on Flickr My TWIST is the same as last week - STITCH on your layout - machine, hand, pen, 3 threaded buttons - OR this week use ribbon - I used rick-rack in a total throwback to 10 years ago. Please share your creations on this thread as well as the gallery and challenge threads if you want! Can't wait to see!

A lot of possibilities with this one! That banner gives it a festive feel, and your layout is definitely festive - I love the photos and papers you chose, and mixing up the fonts makes it really playful too. Awesome layout kitbop! I think I know what photos I want to use, but I haven't printed them yet. I hope I'll be able to do this one later this week. Can't wait to see what the rest of you can do

Great sketch and your layout is awesome! You always manage to put things together that I’d never consider, make it work like magic and create a masterpiece! I love that this uses so many photos. I’ve actually been making a (tiny) dent in the little bin on my work table.

Awesome Sketch! I love your layout, as always. I can't believe you change the thread on your machine and used white and black thread for stitching. It looks amazing. It just solidifies my laziness! That rick rack banner is super cute. Love the clusters, colors, and that title work.

Your page is brilliant kitbop , fabulous colours, the photos are super and all the little details, stitching etc. it's fantastic Forgive me for using only a tiny part of the sketch. Well, when you have no suitable photos or inspiration, drive a van through it And I did sort of get the twist - with my stitched banner line... pretty please?
What, no stitching Linda??? You made a couple of lovely pages there.

As soon as I saw this sketch I thought it would be perfect to use with a kit I recently bought called Birthday Wishes {Girl} by Ooh La La Scraps. These photos are from my daughter's 6th birthday party - she turns 21 this November! The twist - I used ribbon (on the balloons).

What, no stitching Linda You made a couple of lovely pages there no stitching - my machine was set up for the tote bag with purple thread and I was too lazy to rethread it for the page and then re-thread again for the tote bag so... AussieMeg - love the birthday page

AussieMeg I love how you so thinly matted the photos! The mat barely shows but it does add to the overall "finish" of the layout! It's adorable!

This is an awesome sketch and obviously very versatile. All the takes are so different. Your page is so vibrant and happy, kitbop! Love the sunny colours and the vibrant patterns in your strips. Linda, I love all your Halloween orange & black. Yours is fun, JaneB, and another completely different look. And then there are the springtime/girly elements on your two pager, AussieMeg. Love the balloons. lizzytish, did you try it? I have my back to school pic's out and my school tub open, ready to go next time I get to scrap.

I just finished this one, I did the left hand side and I was following the sketch, honestly! I was lazy today and used my precious Daisy D's rub-on stitches, they're starting to run low and I wish someone would come out with rub-on stitching again cause I love it! Taking 15 for this one, 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, 5 for sketch = twist, #12, #15, #21, #22, #42, #44, #49 and Sept Stash - something from my last purchase.

kiwigirl, I love the layered banner on your page: it adds so much depth to the whole design. And of course your bright colours on black. @scrapaholic, is that Simple Stories pp? Love it with these photos! And the printed banner is perfect for this sketch. Your pool photos are awesome, too. I always have trouble getting the lighting right and the images crisp.

kiwigirl , I love the banner and the circles (I can't tell if that's a cut file over mixed media or if it's PP ). And that's a *really* pretty picture of you! stinkerbelle , those are great papers for your story! AussieMeg , another gorgeous page! All that pink really brings that party to life JaneB , I love your sense of humor Linda , I love how everyone got a turn to pose with Grammy. I have a bunch of pages like that too!

Great work Thank you @ msliz! It's a PL style card with the circles and 'love this' on it, it's pretty awesome isn't it, I got it from Flutterby Designs in Australia, she does some awesome stuff

kiwigirl wowzers, what a gorgeous page! I so love that banner and the artsy card with the fun sentiment, the acrylic title, the fun little sprinkled embellies and that purrmaid or mercat or whatever, too cute I agree about the stitch rubons. I still have some from Martha stewart and doodlebug but I use them sparingly. I used the Martha stewart ones on my page, actually. Best invention ever! MDscrapaholic I love your take! That background paper with the banners that mimic the sketch is perfect for the fun pool photos

Here's mine. I started it a couple of days ago and left it with all the base paper layers and the photos in place but nothing else. I knew it needed some colour to pull it all together but I couldn't quite find the right thing. This morning I decided on this multicolour dot and now I feel like it has all the colours but it just makes me happy to look at it. I love it when that happens!
