I got my box today. LOVE it. Except... all the enamel dots are missing. This is very sad as I love enamel dots. I sent them an email, hopefully they still have some and will send them. well that certainly sucks ass! i hope they're able to send you the dots or at least do something to compensate you! I know, right?! Silly, but I totally justified the box based on the 6x6 pads and the dots.

Didn't get a reply in Friday so I guess I'm waiting til Monday. So according to MME, they ran out of the enamel dots, so I am out of luck. Basically too bad for you was what their email said. Which I kinda understand... But... They did show pictures of what I was paying for, then didn't deliver. Would you push back and ask for some replacement items or let it go?? I'm torn.

That's not how it works. The only way it's okay is if they substituted other stock for the items they ran out of. Otherwise it's false advertising (and theft in my book) to say you're getting $x amount of product and to shortchange you. If they refuse to accommodate you for their error, I would let them know that you're going to go to your CC company and state that the company did not send you the entirety of the goods promised and fight for your money back. I'd figure out the percentage the enamel dots made up of the total value ($5 per pack, if there were meant to be 5 packs, then figure the % of $25 of the promised value and then take that percent and apply it to what you paid) and state that they shorted you a specific percentage and are refusing to honor a partial refund or to send out product to replace the missing items equal to the value of the things they oversold.
If it isn't illegal, it is highly unethical to state that it's the consumer's problem if they run out of product to fulfill the order. If you had ordered things individually and it sold out, they'd honor the refund. Just because it's a grab box does not change the fact that they stated a certain value was going to be included. I had a seller once try to tell me that it was okay that 40% of my order was missing because the stuff I bought was 40% off...uhm, nope. They ended up getting away with it because PayPal honored the claim as a courtesy to how frequently I had been using them to sell and purchase at the time which actually only pissed me off more because it ultimately let the person who shortchanged me get away with stealing.

We did WDW and the space center this summer. That kids box is calling me! Quoting myself because I passed on this. I just found the space collection kit, 6x6 pad and puffy stickers at my TM.
