should we add our cards to the individual card challenge threads AND the October sharing thread? Or just one or the other? I would add to both because I think people who aren't doing the card challenge will enjoy seeing them in the sharing thread but might not see them over here

What I plan to do is add details about construction to the Individual challenge thread and then in the sharing thread add up my team points for the card.

Cardtober test by Pat Doyle, on Flickr Finally, my card for the first challenge. I used my Clarity stencil brushes to create the background using light blue and yellow inks. I stamped and die cut the mountains and eagle (PTI Mountain Majesty) and sentiment (Altenew Birthday Builder) in shades of grey. The panel is popped up and wrapped with a bit of varigated Hemptique twine. Now to mail this card off to a 94 year old gentleman in Canada who is spending his first birthday without his wife.

Love your simple card, Linda . And the fall card with the leaves is lovely, GiantsFan . Here is my take on the challenge. I applied TH oxide inks (in the 4 colours) to an acetate transparency, then spritzed with water. I applied the wet colour to glossy cs, squishing the transparency around to mix the colours. When it had dried, I buffed with a paper towel. I used a Taylored expressions cutting plate to create a cs stencil for the stars. Used DecoFoil transfer paste with that home made stencil, let it dry, then ran it through my Minc with HS silver foil. Then I "just" had to put my little scene together. CardTober #1 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I don't have a lot of patience for nit picky details, and that little squirrel drove me squirrelly, but I like the card, so will probably replicate it at least a few more times. (I have 3 more of the inked and stencilled panels) Thanks again for the challenge, GiantsFan ! Oh, I love the squirrel Lovely card!
@giantsfan your paper-pieced card is super! I really like all the fallen leaves, it's so effective.
joblackford your stag cards are lovely. I like the positive and negative versions, which I never think to do myself.
gale w your card is brilliant too! Your mountains and trees are what I was trying to draw myself yesterday and I got in a right mess and gave up. That bunny is so sweet

Oh, your last line caught me unawares and I'm sniffling all over my keyboard What a beautiful card you have made for him, it's perfect

should we add our cards to the individual card challenge threads AND the October sharing thread? Or just one or the other? Both, as some members aren't part of the team challenges and don't use the team sharing thread.

This one is really simple. I used Hearfelt Creations papers from their Woodsy Wonderland collection.

Love all the layers, here, scrapnnana, especially that purple border with the silver and blue. Is that scene printed on the paper, or did you stamp it on patterned paper?

Grammadee, thanks. I should have mentioned it, but the scene was printed on the paper. I do have some of their matching stamps, but I can't create a scene that looks as good as the paper. This one was a super quick and easy card. I will also try to edit the size of the image down by tomorrow.

I have only been liking and not commenting on each post because I can see some pictures but not all pictures from my work computer. I don’t want anyone to think I didn’t comment on their creation because I don’t always get back to each thread!

Ooh it's lovely! It has a very soft feel with all the colours.

I almost got what I wanted on the page it will have to do! This is a scene created using fonts, with additions and colouring by me. I got a lot of fonts in bundles from the Hungry JPEG so it's not always easy to remember which is which because they're often not named by their designer. This is Adventure by KA Designs mostly.

I finally have time to play along. Here is my card for challenage #1. It is hard to see but the card base is gray as is the cardstock matting the image and sentiment. I love this eagle stamp, excited to be able to use it again.

That eaglestamp looks really dynamic on that card, warrior1991. Love the blues and grey with that brighter green.

Trying to get a start on my Christmas Cards. I used a Concord & 9th set that I bought a couple of years ago. 20181010_130749 by Pati Nuce, on Flickr
