I have spent ALL day scanning 2002 layouts - and putting them into albums. Literally about 6 hours of work. I thought I was about done...scanned the last layout (I thought) and realised it was only Christmas Eve...found another whole binder of layouts from the last week of Dec 2003 - probably another 2-3hrs of scanning (apparently my mum visited that year and we did loads of touristy things and took lots of pictures).
Going to claim the 6 pts and take a break...

I finished sorting through the boxes that were in front of the treadmill last week. Then I started and finished a small section of cleaning on the craft desk and the craft island. Huzzah! Unfortunately I just put all embellishments together in a box and didn’t micro sort where they went, for another day.

That's awesome patin! And you look so happy...I would be too! Linda you are so productive with all your scanning. Is it just to have a digital record of your pages or are you getting them printed? Keep going LisaDV Micro sorting can wait for another day. I sorted all my 2018 photos into date order, ready to either go on to pages or into pocket dividers. LOVE feeling like I'm organised. It's the only part of my life that is, lol.

Right now, just to have a digital copy that I can easily share with family members but if I ever find someplace affordable that makes 8.5x11 VERTICAL photo books....

I am currently in the middle of re-organising my craft room. I have lots of Expedits and boxes in cubby holes but I knew a lot of the boxes are half empty and just badly organised. So consolidation is the name of the game here, I just consolidated 4 boxes down to 1 so I'm quite chuffed. Making space and re-filling it more efficiently. I also got a second raskog type cart and want to make a dedicated mixed media one so I'm looking forward to sorting that out. Must crack on while I'm in the zone!

Awesome, kiwigirl! ------------------------- I did a bit more organizing earlier last week. Then the next few days I finished off cleaning up the mess from the great room (when I had most everything out of the craft room). So I now have the little island table full of stuff again and the pile on the work surface just inside the door which I'd made a small dent in is now 2x bigger. ha. Never ending story. I did find box of vacation album supplies and photos from our vacation when ds was 1 year old!! He's 16. Yesterday, I actually had time to sit and watch a movie. So I made use of the time by winding embroidery floss on the little plastic bobbin cards. The box is starting to fill and looks so pretty with all the colors. I now have the urge to get every shade of DMC floss and have it wrapped and in number order. It's just so pretty.

It's just so pretty. it IS pretty...and gets expensive even when you buy the floss on sale...take it from me...resist and just buy the colours you need. I'm claiming an hour of time for cleaning up my desk and dealing with the camp photo people...I got my order in the mail and they BADLY cropped the photos (as in my kid's head is missing). Emailed them asking for new photos. They emailed me back apologising (good move) and letting me know that they re-cropped all the photos and if I can go on and approve the new crops, they'll reprint for free (yay). I'm glad that they are making it right but I'm irritated this happened in the first place - the photos weren't cheap and took about 6 weeks to arrive in the first place. They are 'expediting' my new order.

Oh, Linda, that’s annoying, but I’m glad they’re making it right. Wow, stinkerbelle, you’re on a roll! Great idea to upload all of your old layouts.

On that is frustrating Linda, but I'm glad they're making it right for you. Such a good idea to upload old layouts stinkerbelle. I have got a new phone so I can use the Flickr app but I haven't totally figured it out so I can upload to here. kiwigirl I am jealous of your raskog carts! I could really do with at least a couple but I have such a tiny space...most of my organising seems to be trying to fit more stuff into the same gaps. Never going to work really but I'll keep trying!

LisaDV winding embroidery floss sounds sooo relaxing! I've added several more points for photographing artwork and clean up. I may or may not get in there tonight to finish up, but I'm going to call it done for this month I think.
