Happy Thanksgiving to our neighbor Canadians!
I just wish there were more hours in the day. By the time I get home from work I'm exhausted and still have the normal household stuff to do (dinner, cleaning, etc.). I've got a new Gina K Designs wreath builder to play with and a mystery box coming from Echo Park. I hope I find some time to play!

I have all my scrappy stuff packed up and ready to scrap this weekend. I cannot even stand that I have to wait 3 more days!!! I want to go and have fun. I'm like a silly kid who can't concentrate on school once the summer weather kicks in.

Happy almost Thanksgiving to our Canadian neighbours! scrappington and jeremysgirl - enjoy our crops/retreats - how fun! I would love to do that but I'll have to stick with the virtual crop right here each month MDscrapaholic - I don't work and there still aren't enough hours in the day. stinkerbelle...I can relate...I need to do more housework so I CAN scrap guilt-free but here I sit

I used my CINCH for the first time! (I’ve had it over 7 years)...now I am OBSESSED with making notebooks, albums and anything that can be bound together.
This is just the push I need to get into my holiday scrapping!

Happy Thanksgiving Canuck ducks How wonderful to be going off to crops/retreats - have a lovely time! I'm with MDscrapaholic and Linda I don't work, I'm up just before 6am every day and I run out of time. I don't even have the usual reasons - no cooking, no cleaning, no laundry. However, for the sake of my health I am forcing myself to lie down in the afternoon this week; longest 3 hours there is when your head is full of ideas. The only way to escape is - fall asleep!

Happy October, Ladies! And thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes. Mmmmm…. turkey... mmmm pumpkin pie... Maybe I can remember to take some photos and scrap them for sleepingbooty's food challenge! I have some unfinished business from September: still have two sketches to complete and claim for my Sketchtember bonus. Have one almost done, and the second in the planning stages. The good news is I get to claim points for them for October, too, thanks to msliz. I am looking forward to a crop that same weekend, scrappington. Where will yours be? Anyone planning on playing along with CardTober? I love the inking on GiantsFan's samples. Might have to get my hands a little dirty.

Oh they have an online store. I have ordered a couple times. Great service. She just opened a Brick and mortar store. I live 2 hours outside of Kingston. So won't be an all the time visit place. Ironically, I had posted on Facebook in August that I was in serious need of a crop weekend away. And I came here a few weeks later and a pea was looking for one more to fill in a slot that someone had canceled. I PMd her right away. And now I'm going with 9 women I haven't met yet! I can't even wait.

grammadee, last year I hosted Thanksgiving and I took pics of all my Turkey Day groceries. My refrigerator was full and my dining room table was packed. I did do a layout about it.

I've got a new Gina K Designs wreath builder to play with and a mystery box coming from Echo Park. I'm jealous! I really like that wreath builder idea! Jealous of you ladies with retreats! My LSS also hosts retreats, but they are too spendy for me...at a really nice resort on lake Huron...I guess I'd rather spend the $$ on supplies Add me to the "not enough time" group. I've been staying up later, and not spending time hanging out with DH to get my scrappy time in lately. And this month is buuuuusy.

I'm off to a scrap camp - Thursday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. I usually make page kits, lots of them to pack and take however, this time I haven't done a thing. Haven't packed my scrap stuff or my personal items......it will be a 'pack everything into the car and hope for the best' weekend lol
I haven't even printed any news photos!

I'm so bummed! My monthly winter crops are ending because they raised the price of the hotel way up I don't even know how long I've been attending them...probably 8 years? We stayed at a nice metro area hotel and had the conference room...shopping and restaurants all close. Sometimes I'd bring my kids down to stay or swim or DH would come stay (often I was the only one that stayed overnight, so not as weird as that sounds ) Ugh. We have a core group of 5 of us that will find another spot, but staying there was such a nice break and staying at a retreat house just won't be the same. On a happy note, I have a monthly card get- together this week, which I missed all summer, so I'm excited to catch up with that group again. It's fun to hear what others have going on. And Happy Thanksgiving to you Canadian scrappers!

Add me to the "not enough time in the day" group.
For all those attending crops/retreat, have fun! I hope you get lots of projects completed.
I took my craft room apart 2 months ago and put back most of it. Of course, there is still some things left, and I really did very minimal for putting away last month. Plus some of it is strategically placed on the treadmill mat so the cat doesn't claw it up. (I bought a new treadmill mat because he did claw up the last one.) Now I want to use the treadmill, so I really need to go through and put those boxes away. One box was just stuff I kept piling on my stamping station while working at my craft area. To the point of avalanche proportions. Needless to say, I'm not looking forward to it.

The only ok part of that is that I did not buy the treadmill for me. It’s for my dog, so I don’t feel as guilty about it not being used.

With all going as planned I have 3 crops this month. I also have a bunch of varied current photos I look forward to scrapping. The challenge is finding the product I want to use. My disorganization makes this so difficult.
I had gastric bypass last week and a friend gave me a weight loss journey piece of paper from Karen Foster. I am just going to use it for a before and after photo and a few comments, just to document it. I don't have any interest in a more ongoing sort of thing.
My son is hoping for a final job offer in a few days that will have him relocating to California by the end of the month. My older son and his fiancee just rented a house they moved into this week, so I may be an empty nester by the end of the month.
