Here is mine. I went looking for a sheet of cs to use stencils and sprays for the background, and in my cs drawer was this piece that I did last fall. Score! A background for this, and a point for "Found items" for the challenges! family dinner by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

I love your LO grammadee, I think it's one of my favourites of yours! I love the background, way to go finding that and it's perfect! Love the layers of paper under your photos and the buttons with twine, very cool!

Here's mine. I used 4x6, so obviously the vertical picture design didn't remain, but I tried hard with the mixed media background and layering of the matted frames. layout autumn posing party by kirstendrew, on Flickr

I love it kitbop, love the background, I also love the layers under your photos with the lines on, and the lines in the background too. I also love the scalloped stripes under your title to make that pop and the flowers peeping out. It's all very lush and fabulous!

I really love this sketch, but it gave me more stress than I thought it would! I changed the photos several times and in the end went with photos of my friend's gorgeous daughter. Then I spent several hours faffing around with the elements.
Hmmm, didn't get many points for this one. 1 for doing the LO, 1 for sharing, #18 stitching, #21 Mix it up, #32 splatter, #54 stamps = 6 points

Halfway through the month? ✓
Finally doing something scrappy? ✓
Who, me? ✓
Well, this sketch was truly inspiring and gorgeous. Absolutely loved working with it, kiwigirl! It got me to want to play with a larger format, too. So, here's a double 6x12 LO (do I get two points for showing and sharing in my tally?) about how I've always been a city girl at heart, even as a young child. We moved around a lot when I was growing up but I've only ever felt at home when we settled in a city centre. And that hasn't changed!
Sorry about the crappy photos (today's weather isn't being fully cooperative so the colours look flatter than they are - clearly, I need to start scanning but, oh, my lazy arse...) and blurring for privacy.

here's my attempt - not sure it looks much like the sketch but... I tried - and that finishes up the 2017 Okinawa pictures! {and now looking at it - it's crooked so I'm going to see if I can fix that}

AussieMeg your LO is perfect! I love everything about it, the layers, the background, the fonts, the stunning photos, it's perfection! sleepingbooty love, love, love your LO! I love it all, the background the layers, the cool title, it's fabulous. I am with you on the city thing, I have no idea what I'm doing living here in the country, this morning I could hear a cow mooing while I was drinking my coffee! I can not wait to move back to the city and live in an apartment! Linda now those are Nuvos aren't they? I also love the washing line paper, I can't believe you had that in your stash and you found it for this LO! Amazing

kiwigirl - yes - those are nuvos! I've had that washing line paper in my stash for a long, long time...I still have some more...I think I bought it with the intent of doing a day in the life/week in a life project that included my washing on the line..

Y'all have been so busy this week! All I managed to get done is my sketch for Sketchy Saturday tomorrow and a layout for that. I'll post it later tonight (it's Saturday SOMEWHERE, right?) so y'all can get started on it!
I'm so glad it's Friday, work has been a bear this week. We've got a walking challenge going on (Walktober) and I'm trying to get 10,000 steps in every day. Some days it's easy and other days it's NOT. The weather is much cooler today (thanks Hurricane Michael) so I should be able to walk this evening after work. AND THEN HIT THE SCRAPROOM! Woot woot!

That page is beautiful, @mdscraphaholic. Cute photos. I love the splatters and the use of the mesh. I love the subtle layering the stencilling added to it.
