I'm thinking about that tiny spider that I just found in my bathroom and wondering where all his/her siblings might be. What are you thinking about?

You just reminded me about a friend that told me she’s taking a spider desensitization class at our zoo in preparation for a trip to Australia where she’ll be camping and sleeping in trees. Gives me the heebeejeebees just thinking about what they do to desensitize you from spiders.

I'm thinking about going to WM to buy a new blanket for my bed....do I do it tonight? (it is 11:30 pm) or wait for saturday? I hate shopping in week end crowds.

I'm thinking about smothering dh with my pillow if he doesn't stop this dang hacking and throat clearing. I went to bed an hour before he did so I could be asleep before he came to bed. Two minutes in and I'm wide awake and moving to the guest room because I have to be up at 5 a.m. to have time to drive two hours for a work meeting tomorrow, and now I'll do it with hardly any sleep.
I even told him I'd pick up some cough syrup or Nyquil when I was out earlier, but he said he didn't feel like he needed it. Yeah, well dude you really did.
Sigh.

I just crawled into bed with my iPad and I am watching tv and wondering why I didn't go to bed hours ago. It feels sooo good.

I'm thinking about what I want my 2019 "word of the year" to be. Although sometimes I choose a saying or quote in lieu of just one word.
I don't take the class. I just choose a word to have as a guide in my daily life.
Tossing around a couple ideas.

I've been awake for HOURS...thinking about online shopping for scrapbook stuff now. Good job my cards are all downstairs. I really need more sleep (it's 6am here in the UK, I've been awake since 3? I blame chemo).

I noticed the OKC Walmarts/WM Neighborhoods near me aren't 24 hours anymore. I guess I would have to go to Edmond if I had a blanket emergency because apparently those still are open 24/7.

I'm thinking about how I really need to go to bed because I have to go to the airport tomorrow morning, drop off a rental car, and fly back home. But I'm not even tired at all. I'm sure I will have the opposite problem when I wake up.

I'm thinking about my MRI tomorrow. I hope it goes ok. I can cope with them unless it's a full body scan, I do get a bit claustrophobic.

I'm new here. Thinking of a close friend whose 18 year old son is in critical condition after a motorcycle accident on Monday. Browsing the boards to try to take my mind off them.

I’m thinking about the mother of a two year old girl who saw her in a coffin last night at the funeral home. Our family asked us to arrive early and I was in another room. The mother hadn’t seen her daughter since she picked her up after she fell from a fourth floor window. The sound of her wailing for what seemed like forever will never leave me. I had to move to another room at the back of the funeral home where I sat and prayed for her. The most horrible pain I can imagine is that of losing a child and the circumstances of this situation make it even worse.

I’m thinking my nurse was right this morning when she said my epidural steroid injection might make it hard for me to sleep. I went to bed at 10, after taking a hydrocodone. I MIGHT have slept an hour at some point, then got up at 1:45am to sleep on the couch, so I wouldn’t wake DH. It’s now 4:15am, and I never fell asleep on the couch.
I’m now thinking of the really LONG nap I hope to take this afternoon.😴😴😴

It may be 5:30 a.m. but I'm thinking happy thoughts because I'm sipping a wonderful cup of coffee and I'm one day closer to the weekend.

I'm thinking about my MRI tomorrow. Good luck with that! I'm thinking about the recent downturn in the stock market and whether I should move my 401k money out.

I'm wondering how much more rain we are going to get from Michael and whether it will be a problem. We prepped and prepped for Florence with fortunately no issues. I'm no longer buying that bit about how the majority of the rain is on the 'right' side of the eye of the storm.

I am thinking about my new glasses. They just don't seem right. I have worn them for 5 days straight and things still seem distorted. I renewed my driver's license yesterday and could barely make it through the eye test. They are some kind of new high tech lens, and they said these ones would be different than my old ones, but does that mean they are supposed to be like this? Now I will have to go back to the store and try to come up with a better way to describe the problem than "they're just all wrong".

I'm thinking how much I want to retire right now, not next September.
I'm struggling with not enough time to handle everything at home, with DH and my aging parents and MIL.
It's really in our best interest if I tough it out.

Well, I received a very early morning phone call from our closest neighbor. Her dh is out of town and she has 3 kids under the age of 6 and another one due very soon. There was a bear eating her garbage having knocked down the can in the night. My dh went over to deal with it (it had gone by the time he arrived) and pick up her garbage that was strewn all over her yard and the nearby woods. She had to get the kiddos ready for school/preschool/babysitter and then get sleep for her own job later in the day. I told her that all H breaks loose when my own dh is out of town, too, but I don't have 3 kiddos-soon-to-be-four and I am not an ER doctor like she is.
Sigh. I am thinking not about the bear, but about what the heck is gonna happen when she has 4 kiddos under the age of 6 in a month. I know some RP's have had that situation and have coped. I hope she stays home from work for a long time and I believe there's a vasectomy in her dh's future, too.
Great thread, by the way. Some people are never more than 6 inches from a spider or 6 feet from a bear.

Keeping you all in my thoughts.

That my husband just kept me up for a solid 6 hours dry heaving. I’m going to be so bitchy today. My kids as babies slept better than him.
