I am sitting here with my coffee thinking about that everything I have to get done today to prep for this weekend and kicking myself for my procrastination and lack of motivation earlier in the week.
And of course, reading the peaboard is not getting anything crossed off my to do list.

I'm thinking about how we need to get everything moved out of our townhouse so we can clean the carpets and get it on the market. Also wondering where in the hell we're going to store everything.
It's a pain combining households.

I'm trying to figure out how to solve a friend situation. Three of us are going to a pumpkin patch on Saturday, we all live no where near each other. One said she didn't want to drive, so the other will. I found a spot for us to meet in the middle and the other person said that's not convenient for her in flippant terms. I'm trying to come up with the politest way to say get over it.

Today’s going to be a real gully washer here in SC. The kids are out of school. So I’m hoping the power stays on and we can have a quiet, relaxing day.

I’ve been thinking about two things pretty much nonstop for a while: 1. Imminently quitting my job and taking some time off 2. My senior’s college applications and where he will get into and go to school

KelleeM I cannot even fathom her pain. I am keeping your family in my prayers. I am thinking that I am so happy that we have a well and our own septic. Because our township has a watermain Break that they cannot find. And so all of the public water has to be boiled to be used. My kids got out of school extra early today because the water pressure was so low. None of the stores made coffee or food. I was thinking how many grumpy people must be out there that cannot have coffee today because of the Watermain break. I am nothing without my coffee.

I go between I love my husband and want to stay married but you have been out of work for 18 months. With your (his) technical skills there is no reason for you not to work. Is it age discrimination or are you taking advantage of me? Why am I still doing 70% of the work around the house if you have all this free time.
The walls of my brain are exhausted today but I do have a lot to be thankful for.

I'm thinking about how annoyed I am that I have to call around for a new garage door. How long do garage doors last anyway? We had a new one installed 12 years ago, and it seems too soon to need another one.

I'm thinking about my MRI tomorrow. I hope it goes ok. I can cope with them unless it's a full body scan, I do get a bit claustrophobic. thank you but the test was a bust!! i was on the table getting strapped in when the technician mentions the type of MRI i'm having today. um, no, WRONG TEST! the doctor ordered the wrong test. uggg! for that i got up early, sat in traffic, got changed into a gown only to find out the wrong test had been ordered. i emailed my doctor the minute i got to work.

Welcome. I hope the young boy recovers fully from his accident. The sound of her wailing for what seemed like forever will never leave me. That hurts my heart. I sat up with a friend all the night before she buried her son killed on his bicycle by a drunk driver. That experience has stayed with me forever. I understand what you're going though. Today’s going to be a real gully washer here in SC. We awoke at 4 am to the wind blowing sideways and buckets of rain. But it's now lunchtime and sunny as can be with no wind. In the meantime, I'm heartbroken for the areas that were hit so hard. I lived in Fort Walton Beach for a few years as a child. We lived there when Hurricane Camille came through as a Cat 5. Two years previous to that our neighborhood took a direct hit from a tornado. I fully understand the power and devastation of those types of storms. I'm so sorry for the people dealing with Michael's aftermath this morning.

I'm thinking about what projects I need to delegate because I've got more on my plate than I can effectively handle right now. And none of them are great candidates for delegation. Ugh.

I am thinking about what I am going to do tonight. My husband is going out of town on a job and I have a free night.
I am trying to decide if I want to go see a Star is Born or just chill at home.

My son passed an initial gifted test, and is taking a more comprehensive test at some point today, maybe even right now, and I am very anxious about it. He isn't challenged at all and is actually doing poorly in some areas because he just doesn't care. I want him to get good grades and not goof off, so this is really on my mind.

I'm thinking about my dad. He died 25 years ago today very suddenly and I'm just missing him. And thinking about how much our family and the world has changed in 25 years.
My heart aches for the mother of the 2 year old.
Prayers for the young man in the motorcycle accident. I hope he makes a full recovery.

I am thinking about how it seems no matter how far south we are getting, this rainy chilly shit won't leave us alone. Now in Texas, with some snow coming this weekend. Then I am thinking that my weather problems are stupid comparatively. I hope everyone finds peace and healing.

I am sitting here missing my dad and wondering if the world will ever feel right again. He passed away last Friday night and I cannot wrap my mind around living in a world without him. He was the rock of our family and my mother has diminished in the past week without her partner of 62 years. My heart is broken for her.

Listening to the wind and rain howl, the kids have been out of school a month today. I’m watching trees lean and tarps ripping off roofs, debris piles scatter, wondering how far this will set people and the schools back in their recovery. And feeling a lot of heartache for the devastation in Fl, AL, GA, and the Carolinas.

I’m thinking my not so DH is making me mad by not stopping to get me peach daiquiri mix on his way home from work. No where in our small town stocks it. He is an hour away for work, lots of places he could stop on the way but no I’ll have to drive 30 min one way Saturday afternoon after work to get it before a party we are invited to that night.
