This is too Any Tan for me. I probably won't buy any of it except the thickers.

Hmmm...I was looking forward to seeing what she had next, but this isn't my style at all really. Not dissing it, but not feeling it for me.

There's only 1-2 papers I like. The rest- Meh.

I am kind of relieved that this line doesn't excite me, I already have so much Dear Lizzy stuff I need to use.

I used to like Dear Lizzy. In fact, I am still hoarding scraps of 5th and Frolic. This however, is a definite no for me. I don't find a single paper or embellishment appealing.

I can use some Dear Lizzy lines and not others, this one is in the "nah" category.

Maybe in a year or more, if I can get the 6x6 with a coupon.

Dear Lizzy collections are usually my go to, but this one is odd. The last Maggie Holmes collection was more Dear Lizzy feeling than this one.

I like the colors of this one more than others. If I find it in a store there are several pieces I might buy but I won’t order sight unseen and won’t search it out specifically. And on principle, I really don’t like “giving the Kartchner’s” my money.

I do like some of the papers, but it still feels like the same old same old to me... nothing new and exciting for me so far.

*Sigh* I miss the classic Dear Lizzy collections like her initial collection, 5th & Frolic, Enchanted and Polka Dot Party. I was SUCH a diehard DL fan back in the day but it's been years since a collection wowed me.

I actually like most of the B sides of this collection. I don't care for any of the embellishments and I'm too cheap to buy thickers.

I am not a huge fan of Dear Lizzy now but I did love some of her past collections. Lucky Charm and 5th and frolic I loved...
What I don't get now is that she doesn't seem to be much in the scrapbook craft scene anymore? I think it would be wise for AC to move onto someone like Cat Martin, or Adele or Elsie Robinson, Jen Schow (to name a few)...there are so many more current scrapbookers that could boost sales of their own collections I think!

I responded before looking at it. Having looked at it I will say that this seems very Amy Tan to me. I like the raspberry coloured papers and the orange (mostly because those colours are lacking in my stash so I will likely buy a few sheets of paper from this line). Will also buy the 6x8 paper pad and possibly the thickers.

Yeah, I don't need any of that paper. I would buy the Thickers and the matching enamel triangles though.

I just gotta come and stick up for this collection. I picked it to do my DT blog posts in January and I am finding it easy to work with. I ADORE the animals with glasses, they're so fun and cheerful, they're my favourite bits I especially love the die-cut ephemera, it's super easy to work with and surprisingly, I love the triangle enamel shapes too, they make good arrows and the colours are lush. So overall I am liking this collection. It's not my favourite ever but it's much easier to work with than I thought it would be and the critters are fun!

No thank you. And I’m tired of cacti — who can use all those patterns that seem to be everywhere? Maybe I just lack imagination (probably).

I feel like we're reaching peak pick'n'mix with this collection: graphic tribal black white, rainbow-coloured feminine florals, brown, sun and moon elements, safari critters wearing hipster spectacles, Mexican architecture, banners & pompoms & tassles, cacti galore, mandalas, gold foil and... watermelon.
AC design team: "Which theme do you want to go for with this line, Elizabeth?" Elizabeth K.: "ALL of them."
Nope, I'm not going there, no matter how hard you try to convince me otherwise, kiwigirl.

It’s so all over the place it makes my head hurt ugh I can always pick out a few things and patterns I like out of any line, even this one, but I would be wasting money buying the embellies because there is so much I wouldn’t use so I definitely won’t bother getting them.

I can usually find something I like or want out of a collection, but not this one. 🤔 I think it’s just too busy. Too many wild colors, too many odd icons........Of course at this point I’m in straight Christmas mode, so my thought process might be skewed.

kitbop I already have the 12x12 paper pad and I just ordered the stickers, alpha Thickers, chipboard, and dimensional stickers from ACOT last night. I love the colors of this collection!

I keep going back and looking, the only benefit of moving is now I can't make snap decisions!! I am completely unsure of this one so I am looking forward to seeing what kiwigirl comes up with. Moving makes you a complete lurker!!!

I think you find it easy to work with because you usually use a solid black or white colored background. It's bold, and it works great with your bold style - I can see why you're really enjoying it! For me, since I often try to cram lots of photos on my pages, I have less space left over to devote to colors, patterns, embellishments, and breathing space, so it's more important to me to use papers that have a smaller print and that coordinate reasonably well with the photos. Often, the only room for patterned paper is the background. Can you imagine using these papers for your backgrounds? I think I would struggle to make this collection work.

I love the B sides on this one. I will definitely pick up quite a bit of the paper but the embellishments are not suitable for my photos. I’m hoping I can use the papers with my existing stash but I do find it difficult to work without good embellishments. Love the Thickers though!
