And for peace sake, don’t take this as karma. You don’t deserve bad karma. Seriously - I dropped my phone in the toilet on Monday night. There is Karma because I had literally just told my daughter to forget about her waterproof phone case (I can't hear her well) and just get a regular one. I then followed that up with - honey, you dropped your phone in the toilet once already. You're not going to do that again! Not even 24 hours later. I never ever keep my phone in my back pocket!!! I just had my hands full and put it there and was not wearing tight pants. The bright side is the phone is an S8 and waterproof in and of itself. Which I did not know and am very happy to find out.

Good luck with your dog's surgery. I'm hoping for a great outcome!

Man! You've been through a lot. Keep hanging in there and best wishes for the surgery of your dog.

good news about your XH! actually, living with his mother might be a really good thing. If she's in an assisted living retirement community, there will be plenty of caregiver staff who can (hopefully) also help him out if necessary.
thinking good thoughts for your dog and the surgery... just give your dog some good skritches and keep thinking about the end point when you can have your house back to yourself again.
