I hardly ever use frozen, I think just cause that's the way I was raised and what I'm used to. I think the only frozen veg I use is peas. However, I want use frozen, convenience-wise it just seems like it would be so much easier and less work. Then I'd only have to get a few fresh ones and not worry about certain ones going bad. And I would think I'd have mostly everything I'd want or need on hand at all times.
So do you regularly use frozen veggies? Does anyone notice a taste difference?

I do use frozen veggies. I have no choice during the winter months if I want certain veggies (like green beans).

I use a mix. Frozen can't always be substituted for fresh so you have to be realistic on their characteristics. In general, they are softer or "mushier" than fresh.
I use frozen for most anything I plan to cook (steam, boil or bake in a casserole) If I plan to serve raw, lightly saute'd, grilled or sometimes roasted I prefer fresh.

Frozen mostly. I don't notice a difference. If I bought fresh it would go bad to fast. Plus the local stores here don't have a good selection.

I use both. They say that frozen are picked at their ripest and frozen immediately so you get all the nutrients, and fresh are picked way before their time. Unless you go to the farmers market, or someplace like Whole Foods, I guess.
I don't know if that is true, but I still use both, and like both. Sometimes convenience is key!

Frozen peas and corn only. I don't like the texture of frozen peppers, broccol etc.

We only use frozen peas, but all other veggies are fresh and organic!

Almost always fresh.
I only use frozen spinach in some soups etc.
I wouldn't really know how to fix frozen vegetables.

I adore frozen peas and carrot mix. I use it in a lot of my cooking. I also buy the big bags of stir fry mix for quick meals. I let the veggies defrost first before using. Sometimes I throw it in the oven to dry them out. I do the same for corn.
I use canned green beans ( I am not a fan of fresh green beans) and canned corn too.

Frozen peas for sure, occasionally corn, and I also use some frozen spinach for recipes like Tuscano soup and creamed spinach. But I'm about to switch to fresh baby spinach only, as I've gotten more used to using it fresh.I grew up eating some fresh and much frozen, but we were ahead of lots of families who ate mostly canned vegetables back in the '60s. I think my mom eats almost exclusively fresh veggies now, too.

I use both. Some I don't care for if they've been frozen, like asparagus, carrots, etc.
I've also heard that the frozen fruit and vegetables are those that were ripened completely and therefore are too ripe to be sold as fresh. My SIL actually talked to a Strawberry grower and he told her the same thing. I don't mind buying bags of frozen fruit for smoothies.

I use both. Frozen is convenient, and with most types of vegetables, I don't notice a difference in taste and texture from fresh veggies.

I use fresh and frozen. Fresh in season, froZen in non-season. I also do use canned, but only certain veggies like corn or spinach.
I put up enough corn from the summer to last me all winter.
There are certain veggies, like asparagus that I will only eat fresh or I won't eat it at all

That reminds me, I know everyone else hates it, but I like canned asparagus. I like fresh, too, but I do use canned sometimes in salads. Don't say it. I know it's weird.

I think frozen veg can actually be better for you as they often have more captured vitamins etc due to being frozen so quickly after picking whereas the 'fresh' stuff can already be several days old before it even reaches the store, another day before we select it etc etc. Having said that, I usually use fresh out of habit. I have a bag of mixed diced veg in the freezer but I can't remember the last time I used them so I should probably throw them out

The only frozen veg I use is peas and corn, everything else is fresh. They seem to lack the crispness of fresh IMO.

I use mostly fresh but keep frozen on hand just in case I haven't gone to the store.
I do use frozen peas and lima beans.

Both fresh and frozen for cauliflower and broccoli. Canned corn. All others fresh.

Both.
Last night, for example, this lazy mom did not feel like going to the grocery store and the cupboards were bare as a bare could be. So lazy mom made pasta alfredo (making the sauce is pretty easy) and peas. Frozen peas. The carnivore didn't even notice that no chickens were harmed to make his dinner.
Frozen veggies can be a lazy mom's life saver.

Like others, frozen corn and peas only. Everything else fresh. I have gotten lazy and started buying things like broccoli and green beans pre-cut in a bag, where you can either take them out or steam them right in the bag.

I use a mix. If it's going into a stew or soup, I often use frozen. Some vegetables I don't like frozen, but you can't get very fresh stuff here in the winter.
I freeze a lot of my own vegetables in the summer and use those. I freeze tomato sauce, pureed squash, grated zucchini, corn, and greens.
Whatever is in season, I eat fresh. And asparagus -- I don't like frozen or canned asparagus.

I use both, fresh and frozen. Sometimes our fresh vegetables go bad too fast, so frozen saves us money in the long run. Steamfresh is usually what I buy.

I use both. With no particular pattern or preferences. I pick up whatever looks good and fits my needs for that particular meal.

I use both. It doesn't always depend on the vegetable though; it's more about how I want to use it. Like sometimes I'll want fresh broccoli for a salad and other times I'll use frozen in a baked stuffed potato. I use fresh baby spinach for most things, but frozen chopped for spinach dip.
But there are some vegetables that don't thaw well, that I never use from frozen, like peppers, onions, asparagus, and recently I added to the list brussels sprouts. And frozen corn always feels tough to me.
Other ones are great. Every day, I pack DD's lunch. She loves that I give her a snack bag of frozen organic whole green beans (still frozen when I pack them, I just run them under the tap.)
So, both.

I grew up eating only canned vegetables with the rare fresh batch of green beans thrown in if someone gave us a batch and occasionally a fresh ear of corn on the cob. Now, I never eat canned vegetables (except tomatoes in a casserole or soup and occasionally canned corn). The only frozen vegetables I will ever buy is spinach and I will use canned corn if it's going into soup. I find frozen vegetables to be "chewy" and "mushy" at the same time. I find canned vegetables to be mushy and really, really awful.
I eat a lot of vegetables and only buy fresh except where mentioned above. I just change what vegetables I eat based on what's available.

I had no idea you could buy canned asparagus, I guess I haven't been looking for it. I only ever buy it fresh but now you've piqued my interest and I'm going to look for it canned and try it.
I only ever buy frozen peas.
Europe's Best use to have frozen roasted peppers and I bought them all the time, they were really good and convenient but I haven't seen them in the store now for at least a year. I do buy their frozen sweet potatoe slices, they are good to have around when you need a quick side.
