Yes she smoked while pregnant and my parents both smoked in the car. No windows down, and it never dawned on us as kids to question it. I have never smoked a cigarette in my life and I am now in my 50s.

I haven’t read the thread but there is a study going on that is showing strong links to autism when maternal grandmother smoked during pregnancy.
A friend in the medical field was talking about it recently.
Most of our maternal grandmothers smoked while pregnant.
