Darn it - forgot to DVR it, watched Parenthood. Hope it's available on demand. I watched local news last night and they had a premiere party at Ursinus College (not far from me) where they shot the first episode. Lots of students were extras - how exciting for them!

I missed it. I need to make myself a chart of what's on. I missed the first half of the Red Band show the other night. It's taking longer than usual to get back in the swing of being back to school.

I had high hopes, but found it to be just another procedural. And I do not like or respect the main character. She's not a villain I'd love to hate nor is she someone I would remotely like or respect. I guess I just don't like anti-heroes.

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

I loved it. I'm hooked. I used to watch Grey's but stopped the year of the plane crash. I never got into Scandal but this show was great!

It has me hooked already. The only part I didn't like was when the Professor was crying and explaining her situation to the student. It was almost as if she were hitting on him. I didn't like that. But otherwise, I'm interested so far.

I am doubtful. I'll probably check it once more, but otherwise it was just too implausible and lacking in any relatable characters. I had high hopes for Viola Davis and this show but it really appears that Thursday nights won't be a "TV" night for me any longer. (I never started Scandal and Grey's is just ... old.)

I had the TV on to watch Scandal so I left it on for this show because I do like Viola Davis. But this show did not engage me in any way. I doubt I'll watch it again.

It was okay. I will probably give it another couple of episodes before I decide. I also thought she was hitting on the student when talking to him at the bar/restaurant. And does anyone just walk into someone's home that is unlocked? Especially someone that you do not know very well? And wander through the house that looks empty until you find someone? And she isn't very likable. The only one that was likable was that student, but then at the end he was part of the murder cover-up.
And a side note: I do not like it when they shoot these shows so dark. I have a hard time seeing what is going on.

I'm not the only one, because several friends at exercise class today felt the same way. And yes, it seems so many shows are shot dark. I am binge watching Blacklist on Netflix and it is so dark.

I was like "meh" then watching the last minute of the show hooked me in so now I'll probably watch just to see what happened.

I had high hopes but I didn't like the show that much. A bit confusing with the time lines and none of the characters appeal to me.

I also thought she was hitting on him and was getting a big "ewww" factor at that scene. The fact that he came in jarred me a bit but I think it was explained later when I saw the sign outside the door, I think that is their Law Offices, not her home. Or it's her law office AND her home. So I think he came in because it was on campus and an office that he could or has entered prior so in that case I didn't think it was so odd that he went there at night because it's likely lots of law students go to lots of offices or buiidlings on campus at all hours of the night when studying, etc. That was my feeling anyway about that. I agree it was dark. I was watching on my laptop this morning and was having a really hard time with the woods scene, especially.

I watched the first half, but had to get to bed, so I have it DVR'd and I'll just rewatch the whole thing this weekend. I really enjoyed what I watched.

Just watched. Reminded me so much of the first season of Damages. (Brilliant, brittle, manipulative lawyer; mentee involved in a murder that's revealed to viewers through flash-forwards.) And the whole time you're thinking, "What will they do second season?"
I'm "meh" on the show, but feeling the pull to keep watching because of those damn flash-forwards.

I think it has potential...we'll see. It seems there is a lot more back story to the characters that will make sense as (or if) the show goes on.

I love love love Viola Davis, but I didn't like the show. I am a criminal law professor and defense attorney and everything was wrong. Everything was wrong! Oh well. I am going to give it a few more episodes and hope I like it better, because I want to like it.
