craftykitten is in the hospital following emergency surgery. There's a thread on the NSBR board, I thought I would post over here as well since she's pretty active in the team challenges and not everyone gets over to the other board. ETA: I can't seem to put a link to the thread on NSBR if someone could that would be great.

I actually do have craftykitten's address so I'm going to send her a card. If anyone else would like to send a card, I am happy for you to send them to me and I will forward them on to her. So if you want to do that, PM me and I will give you my address  |

Thanks for doing this, kiwigirl. I want to send her something, but am afraid that the time it takes to get a card from western Canada to the UK. I am thinking I would like to PM you a note for you to send on. That way it will be more reflective of where she is in her journey right now. I'll shoot you a PM. Just read the update on the NSBR board. Sounds like Kate has come through the second surgery but still has a tough road ahead of her. Still in ICU and sedated. Hoping that she can avoid any infections as she heals b/c her immune system is so under siege right now. |

Don't worry about the time it'll take to get here everyone, someone is already sending from the US so I will be waiting. I have posted a card today so she should get that on Friday and I'm sure it'll be a couple of weeks before anything gets here from north America. So feel free to send something if you want. Maybe a thinking of you, or just for you type card?

I've worked out with grammadee that she will send me something to be printed on the front of a card and the words for inside and I will put this together for craftykitten here and send it on. So if anyone else wants to do something this way please PM me and I am happy to do something with you. I have so many card blanks it is easy for me to print an image of a card you've made already and put that on the front and print out words for the inside too. I also have the time to do this (I don't work) so if you would like me to put something together for you to send then just message me and we'll work it out  I don't want anyone to think that the post takes too long from where you live - I can sort things out here  |
