Thanks kiwigirl, I'm up for that as well. I haven't attempted a mega point LO yet, so that's my goal for the month.

I have been thinking about the no tools challenge I posted for the Donna equation this month. I have started trying a background but after 5 attemps, I'm sick of wasting cardstock!

Well, I am on the board for this month at least, I have tackled the Dec Donna Challenge to use no tools! It is posted in the Donna thread and I haven't pointed it yet but at least I've done something!

I probably won't be scrapping much, I think I just needed a break from it, so the holidays hit at a good time. But I will still be coming around to see the beautiful projects and some chit chat I know I will be ready to get back to it in January, I always am!

If you are counting points, lots to be had in the 12 Days of Christmas thread. They could be combined with the November challenges...
I have two cards and a page done, and need to do a sample for tomorrow's 12 days challenge.

Kiwigirl, I noticed that your location is Cotswolds, UK. I was watching "Escape to the Country" this past Sunday and the prospective buyer was looking for a home is the Costwolds. The scenery was spectacular. The historical buildings, the quaint little towns, the beautiful homes...wow...how lucky you are to live there.

How do I get someone's name to show up in blue, as AussieMeg did in her post above? I know I have to hover the curser over the name so that is says @something. But then what do I do? Thanks.

I'll happily swap with you, where do you live? I hate the place and can not wait to go home again! It is pretty I'll give it that but I am from New Zealand and that is spectacular! I'm totally a city girl too so this country lark isn't for me. I have been here way to long now. We are waiting out our cat, who will be 16 soon, when he goes, we're moving to NZ.

Yeah, it worked kiwigirl, reading your reply, no you would not want to swap place with me. I live on a 50 acres hobby farm just outside of a small town in Eastern Canada. No big cities for me.

I'm going to try to get some points this month to motivate myself! Towards the end of November, I felt burnt out from October and November. But I do want to keep up the momentum and will be doing DD! We'll see what I can do.

Yeah.... I'd love to move to Canada but I think an actual farm might be taking it too far for this city girl eh! I have been working on my DT LO's for January, I have 3 on the go right now. I am liking the Dear Lizzy, New Day collection, I LOVE the animals with glasses on, they just make me smile and I am loving adding them to my LOs! For no reason at all, here's a giraffe with glasses

I did see those! I've been wanting to do some, but time hasn't been on my side I'm hoping to get some time this weekend or next week. I still need to finish up my baby's Christmas gift. Lots of sewing to do to get that done! And we've been trying to fit in some seasonal fun this month which means weekends are full to the brim!

This LO was for a challenge on the GingerScraps site, where I buy a lot of my digi supplies from. We were given some word art with the word "Believe" to use on a LO. I used the {Beauti-Fall} kit which is a GingerScraps Design Team collaboration. Points: 1 for the LO, 1 for sharing, #8 Haberdashery, #10 Wordsmith, #11 Metal Worker, #13 Rectangles, #49 Flower Power, #52 Stitches. For a whopping total of 8 points. But at least it goes towards me getting a free kit on the other site.

Greay LO AussieMeg , I adore those enamel dots, they're fab! And the stitching around the edge looks great too. I am finally catching up. This is my Donna tool-less LO which I did post in the Donna thread. I am taking 21 points for that one. 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, #8, #12, #14, #15, #20, #21, #22, #24, #25, #27, #32, #53, #54, #55 (2), #58, #61, #73 and #80. Then I have some sneaks of 2 DT LO's I have done for my blog post which will go live on January 2nd. Things are changing for my blog posts, I'm no longer on the 1st, I will now do the 2nd and the 16th so I will do sneaks for team points and then share when I can. For January I am using Dear Lizzy, New Day and I am liking it Taking 27 for this one, 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, #11, #12, #13, #14, #20 (5), #21, #22, #26, #32, #34 (2), #37, #49, #51, #55 (2), #58, #60. #61, #67 and Bonus Challenge - Something you haven't opened yet. And my second LO Taking 30 for this one, 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, #11, #12, #13, #14, #20, #21, #22, #26, #27, #31, #32, #37, #49, #55 (2), #57 (5), #58, #59, #62, #64, #67, #68, #73 and Bonus Challenge - Something you haven't opened yet. So my total for December so far is 78.

I'm sort of getting back to scrapping this week. I've been shuffling around cards and stickers from my new Pinkfresh Hanukkah kit in my December books. I also ordered a couple of number die sets today to help me record the years. It feels good to be playing with papers and glue again. It's been a couple of months, I think. One of my DDs was away at school for all of Hanukkah this year, but the girls have promised me a photo of all 3 of them when she gets back after finals. I hope we get a warm day for a photo shoot when they're all in a good mood! kiwigirl , those colors are so vivid! and the border treatment with the tapes looks fantastic. AussieMeg , the colors in that kit are perfect for your photos. Really nice job on the design - it's fun and detailed without being too much. You always seem to know when to add more (and how) and when to hold back and call it done. Great page! stinkerbelle, when I first saw your photo on my small screen, I wasn't able to see this detail on your portrait page that I'm loving right now: That purple/mauve color that you use throughout isn't even prominent in your photo, but I love it. It seems to ground the page so the oranges and yellows can pop. Nicely done!

I had thought I’d get some more stuff done this month but my creativity is not there. My kids are wanting more of my time and I’m still finishing up Christmas gifts. I did get three of four pages done but nothing more than that! Just seeing, organizing and collecting the memories!

Those a great! I always love seeing these sneak peeks. Can you share your blog or the DT blog so I can check them Out? Thanks boymom5! Here's a link to all my posts on the Hey Little Magpie blog, it's a shop here in the UK. This is one of my favourite posts, way back in 2014! I am not very creative this month either. I wanted to scrap a bit yesterday but it was so freaking cold here in the UK! I ended up back in bed, reading my book and keeping warm. I did start laying out another DT LO before I did my exercise so maybe I'll go and finish that off later on today?

kiwigirl your Donna tool-less LO is so striking! I really love it. I'm such a sucker for colourful LOs. What spray did you use for the coloured background? I was looking through my cupboard the other day trying to find some ribbon to scan, and I came across my beautiful glimmer mists. Oh how I loved them when I used to paper scrap! So I fondled them for a while and thought about how I could turn them into some cool digi splatters.

AussieMeg they're Dylusions Sprays. I never got on very well with glimmer mists but Dylusions are so bright and colourful, they're a bit of me I did another DT LO yesterday and have another I just need to embelllish. I also have one I have finished and not pointed. I am liking the Dear Lizzy collection, it's not my favourite of hers that's for sure but I am using it and it's coming together pretty easily. I LOVE the critters with glasses, they're my favourite bit of the collection for sure! Random icons I

Note to self: You do NOT need to buy Dylusions. You just don't. You don't even paper scrap anymore. You most definitely do NOT need more "stuff". You still haven't got rid of your scrap supplies from 15 years ago that have sat unused for about a decade. Don't do it. So, anyway kiwigirl..... um, where do you get Dylusions from?

This is a double page LO but I did it as two separate pages for two separate challenges on another board, so the pages aren't really as cohesive as I would have otherwise made them. I used the gorgeous 'All Is Calm' kit by Connie Prince. I chose it because the colours are nice and feminine and matched what my cousin and I wore in almost every photo. Pretend Points: 1 for the LO, 1 for sharing, #6 Stamps, #8 Haberdashery, #11 Metal Worker, #13 Rectangles, #15 Mixing Bowl, #16 Christmas Past, #19 Two Pages Lots of Photos, #21 Embellishing 101, #22 Puff Daddy, #28 Photos I Didn't Take, #34 Social Mixer (2 points), #38 Old Photo, #39 Journaling, #45 Grid, #49 Flower Power, #52 Stitches, #58 Word Up Total = 20 points.
