Geraldine Brooks is a Pulitzer Prize winner. I found the book in my daughter's things and she thinks there may be another, Year of Wonders: A Novel of the Plague, the book that won the Pulitzer. I'll be on the lookout for it! Year of Wonders was another of hers that I just loved. Reading the book about the murder trial is facsinating. The event happened in Sept 2005, so some time back now and I was no longer living in the area. I only have the book as one of my sisters left it behind after her visit last month - I don't think I'd have sought it out.

One down. Three to go.
Finished, the Bullet Journalling book and working my way through 20th Century Ghost. I will finish the books I have been reading before starting another.

leftturnonly Year of Wonders is even better than People of the Book. March is, I think, the book she won a Pulitzer for?? Gotta look that up. March is also wonderful.

She got the Pulitzer for Year of Wonders (really hope it's in DD's stuff), but March is the one named on the cover of People of the Book. ETA - Nope. You were right. She got it for March! I'm looking forward to get to read both of those at some time.

I finished “Less” by Andrew Sean Greer, which won the Pulitzer, but I was underwhelmed. I had to force myself to finish. I’m 4 books from making my 2018 reading goal!
I also finished “The Great Believers” by Rebecca Makkai, which I thought was outstanding.
Now I’m reading Nic Stone’s “Odd One Out,” which is YA, and good so far.

I read Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney. 5 stars. I give very few books 5 stars. This was incredible. Held my interest from start to the very last word. The first few pages where she is in a coma are CHILLING.
