AussieMeg , incredible photos from your Saudi Arabia trip. I love how you kept the background really understated and let the photos speak for themselves. grammadee , are those papers on the Malanka layout? Or did you photograph part of her costume? Or is that real fabric? It's an amazing effect! I love the mesh and all the little bits of things on your Happy Birthday page. Fun background too! I love the simplicity of your Turn 40 page, and the tag you painted works so great with the star paper @elaynef , you've been pairing some really cute papers with your layouts. They really set a tone of love and family. Nice pages! KelleeM, grid style layouts are my favorites. Love yours, especially the "Happy" one. I keep telling myself I need to make more pages with PL cards. Great colors - I'm ready for Spring! dasmith2 , the before didn't bug me at all, but now that you've "fixed" it, I like the after better too. Great page either way. I really like how you used the hexagons, and kept all the background stuff on that strong diagonal. Gorgeous cluster on your campground scrapbooking page. kitbop , that blue makes your Birthday Tree layout just come to life, and I'm really appreciating all the rounded and curved embellishments you added. And, of course, the beautiful photo on your Warm & Cozy page. Two more fantastic layouts! jloubier , Doggos! Beautiful layers of paper and tags under your photos, and I love the torn edge revealing the paper underneath - it adds so much! So many great ideas on this board - it really is the best scrapbooking community around!

I found it at a LSS in Edmonton a couple of years ago and bought a bunch of sheets b/c it works so well with the girls' costumes. The branding strip says www.scrapbookcustoms.com

Really!! Everyone has gone over the top today with beautiful layouts. Gonna go back and study them all. I have a 2 page of Jan 26 sketch today.
And a pic of dh and I yesterday. We met some friends in the town where we went to college and persuaded them to go to the park where he proposed (in 1965) and take our picture. Our friend did a great job. It is very difficult to get a pic of him smiling...he smiles all the time, but not for pics! We all have some people like that...right? Not sure what we were laughing about here but the joke of the day was: Do you remember this or that, but neither of us remembered anything much about the park because it was always dark when we went.

Great use of the sketch for those two pages, @elaynef! I love all the fall elements: the tree, the leaves, and the critters, in those cards interspersed with the photos. Great photo of the two of you looking so happy, and I love the story of the significance of the place and the story behind the laughter. Will you scrap that photo or frame it to go with your wedding photos?

This is a super basic LO with no embellishments at all, except the alpha in the title. Obviously my points are low for this one! It was for my own challenge What's In A Name, and it was a re-do of a paper LO I did years ago when my now 14yo son was just born. I pretty much copied the journaling that I did all those years ago, but I'm a bit blah about it now - I used the word "daddy" a lot, which was fine when my son was a baby but doesn't read right to me now that he is a teenager. I will have to ponder a bit more over that one before I print it out. Supplies: Photo mask from the Beautiful Memories Vol 63 template by Indigo D Title alpha from the Dude kit by GingerScraps Design Team Paper from the Welcome To The World kit by Kimeric Kreations Points: 1 for the LO, 1 for sharing, #7 Grateful, #8 Generations (2 points), #11 Monotone Madness, #23 Manufacturer Mix Up, #26 Photo Crazy, #27 Metal It Up (title), #29 What's In A Name, #37 Journaler's Badge, #40 Minimalist, #44 Oldies But Goodies TOTAL = 13 points

So I only finished 3 layouts this month BUT I also did 6 cards, and a full album for a friend (album from chipboard, a la Kathy Orta King/paper phenomenon) which I completely forgot about when I was being self-critical about my lack of creativity...guess it counts too! Anyways my final layout: LAYOUT feline festive by Tony Drew, on Flickr
