I've done 5 days of drawing, keeping it pretty quick and simple. I'm already finding that if I don't work on it pretty early in the day I don't want to do it later (but I'm still doing it!) I'm actually pretty happy with my drawings so far. I've only done them in pencil so far but eventually I'll try out using markers. I'm sharing them on IG Stories but I think I'll post pictures on IG proper once I have 10 spreads.
I also found out a way I can try out Procreate for digi-drawing without buying an iPad (yet) by getting the Pocket version for my iPhone.

Since part of my goal is to improve my digital ability, I’ve been researching about custom shape tools over the last 3 days including using and importing files. I have several things I want to try!

Ok Tuesday, Wednesday,& Thursday I made layouts 3 each day, Friday I tweeked some of the layouts and made things to put on a few of them and assembled the album & went to an art show. Yesterday I missed ‘doing’ anything, I did go to the art show again though- but I’m going to say I creatively stayed alive because I miraculously wasn’t hurt when some dude hit my car at high speed. And equally as miraculously he wasnt too badly hurt after flipping his car on its roof.
I’ll get back to stuff today and go forward I wasn’t in any shape to create with my hands yesterday when I got home

Glad everyone made it out of that scenario alive and well.

So today Sunday I got caught up in my journal/planner I was so far behind in that. It works better when you do it more regularly but I had done nothing while I had a cold. But now I’m all caught up

Day 10: I won't lie it already feels like a chore lol. I'm still going to keep on going though! Sometimes I think that this part of the project is actually the hardest - when it's not an exciting new novelty any more, but it's also not quite a daily habit yet. I've been unenthusiastically doing my drawings late in the day, and mostly doing a bare minimum, but I'm trying not to get hung up on how I feel about it, any more than I dwell on how much I dislike flossing. I floss. It has to be done. I draw something everyday. It has to be done if I want to achieve this goal of being a person who can, and does, draw. Hopefully we'll get over the hump soon!

I'm struggling a bit, too. I did colour yesterday, but not a whole image, just part of one. I guess I'll finish it up today.

I'm struggling too. When I said above that I was I’ve been researching about custom shape tools over the last 3 days including using and importing files. It was like one article per day of finding. I think I actually read them on the 4th day. It kind of feels like cheating to me, but heck, I still did something, so I'm counting it.

It’s day 25! How is everyone doing?
I’ve done something every single day....I can’t believe it. I’ve completed 22 art journal pages, and the other 3 days I did gelli prints, backgrounds, and stamped/clipped collage pieces. I was going to switch from art journaling to scrapbooking at the 25 day mark but I’m having fun and feeling the mojo so I think I will just keep going. So glad I decided to partake in this project....I’m learning a lot. 75 more days to go 😆

I have done either a card or a scrapbook page everyday so far except 4/6 because I ended up wasting the day on that car accident. Tonight I’m going to a card class and tomorrow I’m going to a journal making class.

I'm leaving my drawing till really late in the day most of the time but I've kept up with it. I'm giving myself lots of leeway to draw whatever I want rather than forcing myself to do the cute character doodles from my "Kawaii Doodle Class" book every day. I think I'm getting a little more confident and improving my skills even after only a few weeks.

I'm doing something crafty every day but there was about a week I wasn't very good at posting to Instagram about it. I'm back on track now. It's so great to be actually accomplishing things and using all these stamps and dies I bought.

Hey all, How is everyone doing? The 50 day mark was on 5/21.
I can't believe I actually made it this far. I skipped one day so my 50th day was yesterday. Otherwise, I have completed 47 art journal pages plus 3 days of gelli prints & backgrounds. Not sure if I want to keep going with art journaling or switch it up. 50 days went by faster than I thought it would. Keep going everyone!

I have missed 2 days. One from my car accident & one when my DD graduated & I was ill. But other than that I have done either a card, a scrap page, a sketch or my photo journal every day.
I’ve posted nothing online lol

I'm still doing something crafty almost every day. Problem is there is not much to photo most days. I design a card and take a photo for Instagram and then the next 2 or 3 days are spent mass producing it. Progress is sometimes painfully slow.

Doing the work is more important than sharing it. Hopefully everyone is getting something out of the daily discipline of it. I'm mentally rebelling most days lately because I'm leaving it too late in the day. I haven't made a habit of doing it during a higher energy part of the day so it's suffering a bit. But I'm pushing through because that's my larger goal - the whole "deep" thing. After day 50 I thought I might stop but I decided to recommit and try harder instead.
Anyway, I've shared 52 days on IG Stories and I'm saving it to a highlight. I haven't gotten around to taking nicer photos for my IG grid like I intended to. Oh well. Some of my cute drawings are pretty horrible and some are pretty darned good.

Checking in. I believe its day 91 of the project and it officially ends next Wednesday.
After day 50 I totally ran out of ambition. I'm still creating art journal pages but the second 50 will be completed on my timeline. I'm on day 71 right now. I'm committed to finish the full 100 days. At first I was disappointed that I couldn't keep to the timeline but I let that go. I'm happy with the results and that I made it this far on my first try. Once summer finally comes to the midwest it's difficult to stay indoors lol.
How is your project coming along?

I've been over my project for a while, but I am digging deep (my word) and keeping on with it regardless. I've even adding drawing and coloring onto my monthly tracker as a future daily "would like to do" task, so that even though I'm looking forward to the end of the 100 days I'm going to try not to see it as a finish line - I would like to keep going in some form. Citygirl doing the 100 days as a streak is helpful to some people but there's nothing wrong with using your own timeline to get the project done. I'm impressed you've been able to do 21 more pages after reaching the halfway point. (I'm a bit of an all or nothing person - once I give myself an out I tend to quit entirely!) How about everyone else? Is anyone still excited about their project in the last 10 days of it?
