Once again, Katy Perry holds the crown for my all-time favorite Halftime show. Sharks! Beach balls! Flying! Mechanical lion! Second favorite was Prince, mainly because he played on in the rain like a professional. Third, Bruno Mars and Beyonce. Prince was my favorite! Followed by Bruno. |

I thought it was pretty good. though I am NOT a fan of that rap crap. But it was much better then Timberlake last yr. We were sort of wondering about the whole Adam stripping down as the show went on. Like WTH? I also like that he didn't have this grand entrance or exit, just performed.

I didn't, I was posting while watching. I knew Travis Scott and Big Boi would be on and I wondered where Andre 3000 was! Oh, your first post you said “that was pretty good” and it had literally just started for me when I read your post. I thought maybe we were super delayed for some reason. Because I thought he was done and they were moving on to Travis Scott. I thought he was pretty good for being live! We just saw it. DH loved it (he knows most of their music from DD and they sing in the car). It's happy music. Except for the beginning, they did a great job. Didn't need dancers or big distractions. Just stand there and sing. Loved it. Loved the lanterns (reminded me of "Frozen").

Meh.
Pretty boring.
I like Maroon 5.
I don’t necessarily expect them to sound their best. It’s tough to play halftime. They set up the stage and sound equipment in record time, you don’t get the kind of sound checks you do at a regular concert, you’re running on and off the field, only have a limited time, can’t really improv or respond to the crowd, the crowd isn’t there to listen to you anyway.
I just didn’t think there was anything exciting to the show.
I don’t know who the other people were besides Maroon 5. Never heard of either of them.
I did enjoy the shirtless time.

Is this on time delay here? The halftime show is still going on. I am a fan so I am enjoying the show. I do enjoy his music, but singing live at the Super Bowl is never a great sound for most artists. |

It had its moments, mostly the ones without Maroon 5. Adam Levine is no Prince. The meeting where they ended up with Maroon 5 for halftime must have been just sad. Lots of performers refused due the NFL stance on Kaepernick.

I'm a Maroon 5 fan, I LOVE Adam Levine, so was overall pretty happy with it. Big Boi was ok, but I could've done without Travis Scott, I don't like him. I like some rap music, so that's not the issue, I just think he's icky.
I am SO happy Beyonce & Jay Z weren't there. I can't stand either one of them.

I love Adam Levine and Maroon V. I thought they were fine. I like that the band just performed. I thought they sounded fine.
I have great dislike for all the rap stuff so I did not enjoy either of the other 2 artists. Don't know which was which.
I also loved Bruno Mars!

I like Maroon 5, but I knew it wasn’t going to be good because I’ve never thought Adam Levine had a good live voice. But honestly, that’s most singers now a days. I was actually hoping he would be lip synching! 😆

I’m blaming part of the sound on cbs. They always have problems with sound, especially on award shows.
Just my opinion, but Adam was trying too hard to be sexy.
