Your layouts are just beautiful, everybody! Thanks for those of you taking the time to comment on each one. It’s all very sweet. Love hanging out here with you all.
I spent the morning at a friend’s house who was a former CM consultant. She had some stuff to get rid of, and I cleaned out her alphas and tape runner refills. I purchases some Forever storage a while back, and she was showing me all of the options. I’m going to get all of my pictures uploaded little by little, including album scans.
I finished my last fall 2018 pocket. Working backwards, I’m on to Washington DC, summer of 2018. I’m not sure what paper I want to use. Maybe Pink Paislee Sweet Freedom since it was Memorial Day, and people in Nationals and Capitals gear, lots of red, white and blue. I’m a literal scrapper like that.
Back to it...

I've read all of the comments since my last post, but will probably comment tomorrow. I'm relaxing with a glass of wine, digi-scrapping and re-watching movies and watching shows that need no attention. I just finished a 2 pager and then talked to the family. I want to finish another page tonight at least.

FInally got into the craft space!!! Here is a layout w/some strategic blurring cuz I'm weird that way. DNB did crewing for a production and I had them do some journaling and some other funny quotes that they liked from IG and from one of their t-shirts.

Next two lighthouses on our challenge scrappersue I used the stamps you sent me it was perfect for this layout. While we were online my sister & I were talking about how our other sister would have loved this challenge. Then as soon as we got inside there was this toy duck, which reminded us of her again as ducks were her favorite. So I was able to add that little touch to the layout without getting all soggy mushy. So thank you again!

Welp, I was in the midst of a long post commenting on everyone's beautiful pages, and I lost it I was just popping in to see what everyone is up to and holy cow there's 11 pages! Cookies are done, DGS has crashed, which is very rare, so I know he's not at 100% yet. Normally we would be doing a movie night and no bedtime. And he rarely goes to sleep before 11. I'm going to take advantage and get some more scrapping done! I love everything I've seen! You ladies are on fire!

Linda Your daughters are so lucky their mother is documenting all these important events. They'll be so grateful when they grow older and get to flip through all these beautifully scrapped memories. I love the mirrored disposition for 'Voice for Animals', by the way. It was a smart decision to show both sides of the event: the fun with the pooches and the more theoretical learning Thank you sleepingbooty - the first thing DD18 asked when she got in the car for Spring break last weekend was 'have you done any more of my scrapbook?' (and yes I had - and I had brought it with me so she was flipping through it in the car) linda that has to be the best feeling in the world knowing how much your kids enjoy their books!

LisaDV We do not keep sheep. The piece of property next to us is about 3 acres. The woman who owns it got two sheep 4 - 5 years ago to keep the grass down.

teacherlisa, you are a scrapping machine! I love that you have a page about yourself currently (great colours, BTW), and one that tells a story about a few years ago. The rhino story is really cute. Glad you included a pics too. @zingermack, cards are definitely "allowed". I love the white on kraft. Really pretty. And that looks like a fun page. Was that saying on staff t shirts? What a sweet way to incorporate your memory of your sister on your page, hop2! Thanks for sharing your journal page. Do you include photos as you record each week? Looks like a cool idea. Your bunny cards are really cute, anniefb. Love that you create a little scene with each. joyfulnana, thanks for sharing the photo of your cookies. Projects like this are such a wonderful memory for a little guy--and for his Nana! I never baked with my kids. But I enjoy doing it with my grandkids. And a big part of that is seeing how proud they are of their creations. The 8 year old wanted to bake with me this last weekend, but we ran out of time.

Oh my, fellow croppers, I fell asleep on the sofa just after dinner yesterday. I was off snoozing away by 9PM.
I still have a bit of a cold left over from the kitty allergy so I think I needed a long night of rest this weekend. On the upside: I'm up and ready and it's not even 6 in the morning yet! Off to see everything you've all been up to.

Good morning! I’m still up, just winding down for the night here in California. Your little minions were all busy while you were sleeping. Lots of progress and motivation! I didn’t get a lot finished today (3 layouts), but have everything laid out for tomorrow. I hope to do 5 pages to finish up my DC trip, but I am so slow. Not sure if I can accomplish that.

Linda Aww, how sweet and touching that your daughter immediately asked about her scrapbook when she returned from college. I love that the appreciation is real and the relation to scrapbooking reciprocated: you enjoy making the pages, she can't wait to flip through them. You continue to rock the complementary colour game! 'The Great Outdoors' is wonderful with all the green contrasting the orange. And then the grey-ish tones with the warm pink for that other Girl Scout album LO. The copper foil adds such a pretty touch (and that feather is perfect for all those outdoorsy activities #Pocahontasvibes). How cute is that butterfly pattern paper in your "almost caught up" LO? Love that some of them are brighter shades to pop out from the rest! Same for the colour pops on the ice cream LO. Did you use Project Life cards on this? The extra large letters you used to spell out "cookies" are really great. Are they plastic? Puffy? So, so shiny! It must feel great being completely caught up with such a big project. Congrats to you for pushing through. And what a considerate husband you have to pick up albums for you. justlisa7 Alligators and bears... *eep* I surrender, I surrender. May the crazy animals be our overlords and take pity on us. (Clearly, I'm a city gal The only animals I deal with are big fat rats and seagulls.) Glad to hear everyone survived the night and had a good time! I'll be joining you in the quiche club as this is what I'm responsible for at brunch today. Cherry tomato, caramelised red onion and goat cheese here. Your 'Happy Together' LO is so beautiful and touching. Everything is lovely and heartwarming: the wood elements with the soft white, the muted floral embellishments, the doily peaking out the corner and of course, the gorgeous pictures! You've done this sweet moment captured justice. That before-the-wedding reunion pic with the blindfolded groom-to-be is adorable. I love that you embellished it with so many elements peaking out from the sides to emphasise the "not completely seen" moment captured and documented. The gold puffy leaf embellishment is gorgeous! LisaDV Ice cream for breakfast? You win! That definitely counts... It's a good thing we don't have any in the freezer or you'd be giving me naughty ideas on this very early Sunday morning. Yay you for getting so many pages done so far! And my pleasure. It's been a lot of fun organising + participating in this. Now, about that glas of wine... (hee hee) msliz Love your "simple" pages: the bold contrasting touches are just perfect with the black, white and bright pink. Love that you emphasised these bold border elements by playing with shapes (stripes and dots). How adorable are those character meet photos at Disney? Love the washi borders to frame them in. And yay, you managed to snap a photo as Minnie was holding her skirt (she's always such an elegant mouse, that one)! (I'm a sharer, @millefeuilles, you naughty Pea! ) Elsabelle How did April's birth go? Mother and baby doing well? Was this in an American zoo? Also, yeees, a fellow Kenneth lover! He is a true international treasure. The muppets vision of the world through Kenneth's eyes still cracks me up. nicolep Oh, sweetie, I'm sorry that things are tough. *hugs* But scrapbooking's here to help! I love that you added a picture of your work in progress. Are you working on finishing your DD this weekend? teacherlisa Love-love-love your scraplift! So clean, so bright and so fun with all the shapes going on. Like you, I'm a big spring enthusiast! Bring on the nice weather, sunshine and flowers... Wishing you a smooth recovery for your shoulder. quietgirl Aww, you're too kind. Just looking at everyone's posts and making sure everyone knows their participation is appreciated. How is your WITL project going? Did you end up switching your usual method up a little or are you working on something different altogether now? I know how much of a dark cloud over your crafty head an unfinished project can be... marg Go you, go! 4 PL pages is a lot of scrappy work. Love that you have big plans for your scrappy weekend and are enjoying the lovely, warm spirit shared in here. Thanks for reminding me I need to make a birthday card too. grammadee I didn't even realise I was meeting two of yesterday's challenges with my Iftar page. You're such an attentive Pea! Wow, working on 4 pages at the same time? That's very ambitious. My creative brain can't handle so much (it's a very basic reptilian scrap brain: one thing to focus on only, please ). wallyagain That sweet feeling when you've finished page, oh, how I know it! And yes, understanding partners are definitely keepers. gramma Love all the colour balancing you've done for the Folsom Lake LO. That beige/tan background is the perfect colour the ground everything while keeping it light and how fun that you picked chevron to mimic the waves of the water! The pooch's adorable little face is killing me... The sheep layout is so fun! I like that you matted the pictures with grass green and a bit of black where contrast was needed to make those particular photos stand out a little more. The circle journaling tag is the perfect addition to your fluffly sheep embellishments! boymom5 I hope you got to enjoy the empty house no matter what. Sometimes, you just need a bit of a rest and creativity comes later, when you feel replenished and energised. @millefeuilles October and November in your DD? Oh my, that's extremely ambitious. Do you have some notes to work from for journaling? 2015 seems like an eternity ago (or maybe that's just my poor memory speaking ). marie The pontoon boat LOs are gorgeous! It's sometimes hard to just pick one photo so thumbs up for going for two. It adds energy to the page too with the changes in head positioning. Love the softness of your aesthetic and that topographic map pattern paper. The photorealistic paper of water is perfection for the selection of photos on that page: gives the viewer the impression they're stepping along on the water with your son. I agree that working from a smaller selection like one collection or one kit is far easier (and just as satisfying). hop2 Your first LO in six years? Are you sure? It looks like you never left the scrap world! Love all the clean lines that match the pattern paper on the right. You have a great eye for grouping photos together and balance. Beautiful, moody double pager. The font for "Tinicum rear range" is simple but striking, by the way. Love both pattern papers you used for 'Finn's Point'. Where are they from? 'East Point' is so classic and elegant. I adore the touching rubber duck anecdote and that you managed to include it in your page. oaksong I agree, this is a wonderful place to hang out in. So much love all around! I think Pink Paislee's Sweet Freedom is probably the prettiest 4th of July line ouf there. I never buy them for obvious reasons (but hey, same colours as the French flag!) but always found Sweet Freedom so appealing. Go literal, I say! Also, don't worry or fret too much about your pace or how many pages you get done: the point is to get something done, possibly more than on a usual weeken. Everyone's got a different process. Be accepting of yours and kind your scrappy soul. teacherlisa Oh yay, you made a Me, Myself & I LO! A fellow streamer here (isn't it super easy?)... I love that you included screenshots on your page. One day, you'll look back and be like: "Oh yes, this is how things used to appear on my phone screen!" Technology evolves so fast, even the user interface. Those big numbers are a beautiful design statement, by the way. The pinned number 2 is perfection. Also, bwahaha, I laughed so hard at the story of Joel yelling at the rhino and you trying to shush him, embarrassed by the whole scene. What a fun family story (and the long title for it is just right). Love-love-love the mix of bold fonts you used to spell out the title. Great dynamics on through that left page. Such a great way to use one of Ali's Story kit pieces too! The "real men cook" sentiment on your 'King of the Grill' LO made me giggle. Do real mean wash up too? @zingermack What a beautiful, graphic LO! That stage crew T-shirt is spot on. Love the play on vertical and horizontale through patterns and word placement. The muted colours let the bright white letters shine: smart choice for such a witty page! Cards are not only allowed, they're encouraged (I fear I may run out of time today to get one done, alas). What a beautiful and classy one you made. Nothing about it looks random! Love the contrast of white versus gold foil outlines. Those giant sequins are gorgeous, by the way. (I'm a muted tone lover so this card hits just right chord.) joyfulnana Oh no, I hate when that happens! I try to remember to copy the text every once in a while as I'm typing my replies out. If I accidentally close the tab, I can just paste the text right up until I saved it in a fresh reply box. How cute are those "messy" cookies! Yes, use ALL the cookie cutters. anniefb You are on a roll with the Easter cards! I have that Lawn Fawn set and should pull it out and use it... (oh, how much easier it is to say it rather than do it) You've inspired me to get at least one Easter card done this year. Yours are so much fun! I love that you used green pattern papers for the tree tops: such a fun way to add faux texture and a whimsical element. And shhh, stop making me jealous with your Scan 'N Cut ease! Phew, it took me ONE HOUR AND A HALF to work through all your beautiful creations, comments and reply back. You ladies are ON FIYA. I can barely keep up! Didn't even take a break for a cup of cappuccino while commenting. What an energetic bunch. What an honour to be participating in this event. *MEGAAA heart eyes*
