I hope to do so too. How many days do you have left to do? I think Mon and Tues are done. All the documentation and photos are all together with some supplies (I didn't buy the kit last year, I hated the embellishments. But I bought the cards when they were available separate from the kit for some sale.) How far along are you, @millefeuilles ? eta... I'm sorry... I see now. You are almost finished. Don't apologize quietgirl ! I finished my DD 2015 yesterday, but I still have my WITL to do! Let's cheer each other up! (I was not inspired by last year's kit either. Too dark for me.) ETA: I used to work chronogically on WITL but last year I printed in batches and slipped memorabilia into pocket pages. Now I'm lost as to what to do first, so that could take some time!

If you have Amazon Prime, you have basic Amazon Music (and you can often find offers to have several months free for Prime members to access the entire catalogue). Install the app on your phone to listen to loads of music and find playlists! I'm currently listening to the New Dance & Electro playlist to "have the peach" (tee hee).

Thanks, I'll try that a bit later. I have been listening to oldies but goldies. Love Otis Reading, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, etc.

Yay, finished my January 1st layout about our hike here on the shore! I'm doing a 12x12 digital book for this year's scrappy stuff so I really wanted to lock in the first LO of the year to kick off the book and have that off my mind. Done!

Décidément, j'aime ton téléphone ! Are you going to do the whole album as if it was a TN?

Décidément, j'aime ton téléphone ! Are you going to do the whole album as if it was a TN? Hihi, moi aussi. #smartphonemonamour Oh my, no, I'd tire of the format way too quickly! I'm just doing 12x12 LOs and playing around with the different effects. The others I've made so far are in the March Sharing and Commenting thread of the Challenges board if you're interested.

Good morning!
I got up early but have been drinking coffee and convincing myself that I’m not getting sick!! Dd and dgd have been home sick for days. Poor little dgd has been miserable and has slept for the better part of the past 16 hours. She went to the doctor yesterday and he said it’s just a cold.
It’s my birthday weekend (yes, I stretch it for all I can!) and dh and I went out yesterday. I was able to go to a store that actually had Indigo Hills 2 and I bought a few sheets of paper, the chipboard and both alpha packages. I need to decide what to use it for...so gorgeous!!
I think I’m going to start scrapppictures of ds when he was little using more Lil Dude as well as Fine and Dandy by EP which I have now purchased twice at TM ☺️
Happy scrapping everyone!

anniefb - gorgeous card, Those stamped images are SO cute, it always makes me want to impulse buy stamps like lawn fawn but I've mostly been able to resist because that's the type of card I'm awful at making... I have a "with sympathy" card to make tonight. So I have a goal. But not a card I typically enjoy making... joblackford, I'm jealous of the trip. And the pens. sleepingbooty - your "et le premier janvier" is stunning, and the journaling paints such a beautiful picture. Hard to believe it was cold! The thickers on my layout are pretty old, I don't even know where I got them. They are puffy thickers tho, and the adhesive still worked! justlisa7 - Gaters! No thanks... I love pit fires. The smell, the dancing flames, just sitting around. Great that you can do that with your grandsons. I am off to work. Alas, I cannot be rude at suppertime and leave my houseful of people to eat their lasagna (which took me the evening to make...didn't get back to my scrappy space once I started) because my DH invited my DAD over for supper too. Sigh. So my scrapping will be delayed until he leaves about 7pm

sleepingbooty Not bad! I got my photos selected, edited, and printed for a layout and made some preliminary decisions about paper. Now it’s 6:45 a.m. on Saturday and I’m not sure why I’m awake. But I guess I’ll get up early and scrap a little more! I might have missed this, but do we have a hashtag for our crop? joblackford So jealous!! I was only in Japan recently for two weeks and I really miss the orderly fashion/way of Japan. And the food. And the shopping and stationery. Hahaha! Although I do not miss the overly heated stores where I felt like I was dying of heatstroke and claustrophobia

Good morning all! DH and DD12 just left for a GS event - I don't expect them home until mid-afternoon. I do have some housework to take care of and dinner to get cooking but scrapbooking is my main plan for today. One last layout from last night...also 8x8 for the GS album. I'm hoping to either get caught up in it or at least make good progress today. This layout is from the fall so...I'm about 6 months behind.

Good Morning! 7:00 AM here and I'm with my coffee and coming to catch up! Love your 12x12's sleepingbooty and that photo of the shoreline is stunning! linda I am really loving your 8x8 pages. It's fun to do a different size than the norm! Not having room to add much besides the photos is sometime nice too! anniefb beautiful card! Those bunnies are the cutest! I keep telling myself I'm going to dip my toe in that this year. Big hugs to you for all your country is going through right now. LisaDV YAY for scrappy time! For scrappy DAYS! I'm glad it all worked out! Fun bday pages! Love all those stars! kitbop you got it all done! I would have for sure skipped the gym in favor of scrapping. That's probably why I need to hit the gym to start with lol. Sorry your day isn't turning out as planned. I just love how bright and colorful your page is. You mix patterns so well. marie love the camping pages those colors are perfect. It's awesome that your son has something like this and that he enjoys it! I had intentions to scrap all morning. I forgot about an errand I need to do soon and that I'm making cookies later with DGS so I have to get the dough ready to go. He's been sick and I thought yesterday I was getting that crap. If I am going to get it, it's going to have to wait until Monday. I would rather miss work than a weekend crop! Hoping to sqeeze in a bit of cropping this morning and then most of tomorrow. This is what I got done last night - simple and sweet from an SG kit. I'm going to go back and add some journaling, so I have a place holder there. I'm trying to work through my pile of these kits. linda I'm not familiar with Living History, but it sounds really interesting. Did your DD need the clothes for a school event or does she do this on her free time? I'm a bit of a History nut.

anniefb, I love your bunny card! joyfulnana, I am heading over to Flickr to leave your pages some love. Thanks for finding us a new sketch. Croppers, don’t forget we have a treasure trove of sketches stickied on th Challenges board. KelleeM I hope you can convince yourself you are NOT sick! And hope that little one has finally slept off her bug. It is 7:00 in the morning here and I am lying in bed with my iPad. Must get caffeinated soon, and get into my scrap room. Is there a theme for today?

linda I'm not familiar with Living History, but it sounds really interesting. Did your DD need the clothes for a school event or does she do this on her free time? I'm a bit of a History nut. She is doing this through Girl Scouts - it's an annual event (open to the public) where older girls (teens - DD12 is one of the youngest) dress up as Spanish Colonial women from the 1740s and demonstrate different activities and skills from then - everything from candlemaking and embroidery to games and dish washing and they are supposed to stay in character. There's about 18 stations and the girls will rotate through 8 each, I think during the event. She had a training weekend last month where she learnt at least the basics of the different skills. Next weekend we drop her off Friday evening - they sleep in period tents - the event is all day Saturday and then Saturday evening, they'll watch a cannon firing (the fort near the event has re-enacters of Spanish solders) and then do a candle-lit procession singing through the streets of the old part of the city. We pick her back up on Sunday afternoon. The outfit is supposed to be as authentic as possible - it's all held together with drawstrings and the eyelets on the bodice are hand-sewn (now that was fun - not). One of the stations is cooking and their lunch and dinner on Saturday are what is being cooked.

Did some more scrappy play. Fulfilled yesterday's prompt to make something for someone different: here's a LO for the parents of a Muslim friend who always invite us over at some point during Ramadan to break fast with them. This is a little iftar (breaking fast dinner) page that I'll fill in with a photo (friend shared a Google folder to choose from but there are hundreds of photos of Ramadan last year and I haven't gotten around to selecting one yet so enjoy some blossom instead ). I'll get this printed as a large 12x12 photo and frame it to thank them for extending the yearly invitation.
"Iftar"
