Not SB related, but I thought you kind folks would want to know about this: It's too late to send crafty Valentines to kids in hospital, and some kids are too sick to receive cards from outside anyway. But I read this blog post the other day about how we can share Valentines wishes with very sick kids in hospitals around the country. The details are in this blog postbut basically it's a round up of links to Children's Hospitals around the US that will share/print digital Valentines with their patients and families. (Of course they'd also love donations - the LA one actually includes a corporate donation so I did that one first). The Colorado one doesn't seem to work for random cards, btw - you have to know a patient's name, so skip that one. I'm trusting this is more than just a scheme to get new email addresses for donors. Hopefully it will brighten the day for lots of people.

This is such a sweet idea, thanks for posting it. I've worked closely with the children's hospital in my town, but somehow never thought about giving them cards for Valentine's Day - it's one holiday I usually don't put much thought into, I guess.
