I voted garbanzo because I call them that now, but I've called them all 3 over the years. Chee chee beans growing up.

They are labeled on the cans as both Chickpeas and Garbonzo. I just checked my pantry, two different brands both label with both names. I call them chickpeas. Garbonzo makes me think they are like kidney beans, and I hate kidney beans.

I use garbanzo. My grandma used to call us her little garbanzo beans.

Garbanzo beans mostly, followed by chickpeas

I say chick peas, but know garbanzo beans are the same thing. I'd never heard ceci used.

I call them chickpeas and garbanzo beans interchangeably. I do as well. I have never heard of the other word.

I call them chickpeas, but I usually buy ceci as we have a lot of Italian brands in our store. Or, they are kichererbsen - the German name. I have heard of garbanzos, and know what they are, but don't use that name.

Formerly, I called them chickpeas. I am officially changing what I call them to ceci, just to see my husband's face when I tell him he's eating chee-chee for dinner. Please report back! I tried this on him last night. He just looked at me, blinked, and said "that fuzzy green thing with the little black seeds?" Um, no hon. That's KIWI. Men!

I call them Garbanzo beans. Because I have bad association with the term chick peas.
Many moons ago, I worked at a restaurant and assembling/refilling the salad bar was a responsibility. The chick peas grossed me out...bad. The idea/memory is still disgusting.
Now, I love hummus. Hummus is made of garbanzo beans. DH makes it. Therefore, I don’t see them. And, I don’t ever connect the two terms in my mind.
I have some serious food issues. LOL!

Chick peas. That the only name I would use.

Use all three words, Don't even think about it. But if I were making a grocery list, guess I'd write chickpea.

Often the cans say cici beans, but I've never actually heard them called that. I call them garbanzo beans, but know that they are also called chickpeas.
I also call them yummy, I like them in all iterations.
