Dh made tonight's dinner and it's a beans a'la charra w/chorizo and adobe peppers dish. I'm going to make him cornbread to go w/it. I made the mistake of smelling the peppers w/o thinking. Lesson learned.
What's on your menu?
Wishing everyone a truly good week.

Dh is away again - coming home late tonight - so I am just going to reheat the leftovers of the sweet and sour chicken from the weekend.

Our local Wegmans (best supermarket in the world...#1 for customer service every year) had a digital coupon for one of their fresh pizzas. So I got a white pizza (no red sauce) with mozzarella and garlic. Going to put some artichokes and olives on it..MMMM

I need to figure out how to make the leftover roast pork palatable. It was very dry yesterday. I am thinking just throwing it in gravy and serving with mashed potatoes and veggies.
Have a good week all

I'm finally feeling much better and am headed out to the grocery store to replenish the pantry/fridge. So ready to get back to a normal eating plan. Tonight will be a tray of roasted veggies. Not sure if I'll add any meat to the tray or not. Chicken thighs sound good though. DH has another well test going on which means really weird hours. Last night he left for the office just before midnight, came in at 7:30 am for a quick nap, then left for the office again about 10:30 am. No idea when I'll see him tonight. As awful as it sounds, it's so much better than the days he'd have to sit out on a rig for days at a time instead of managing the project from his office here. Technology is great! miominmio - what are you sewing that has you exhausted? I really need to get back into my sewing room. cadoodlebug - What time is dinner? If I rush I might just be able to catch a flight and be there in time for gumbo! I've had a taste for some lately. elaine - Hope that all is going well for you and your son. (((hugs))) destined2bmom - Happy Birthday to your son! Those years really do fly by with our kids.

Finally catching a break with a bowl of soup. I have one more Home Chef meal for tonight. It is pork chops with a maple cranberry glaze and brussels sprouts, I think. I plan to hit the store tonight too.

Egg Roll in a Bowl for dinner tonight. I may also attempt a cream cheese wonton thing to keep the DH and DS happy. They don't love the egg roll in a bowl as much as I do.
Happy Monday to the Dinner Gals!

I just got to Costco for the first time in weeks. I really missed my Costco chicken! So tonight dinner will be something with my new chicken, and later in the week will be chicken soup. We bought more of those mini chicken & cilantro wontons (itâs the price of dragging the 9yo to Costco ... no school today) so Iâm pretty sure it will be wonton soup. Okay, done rambling. But I might want to go to Montannie âs for dinner.

Thank you for the birthday wishes for my son. scrapmaven That sounds delicious for dinner. christine58 I wish we had a Wegmanâs here. I checked on line and it seems that Wegmanâs thinks that our county doesnât have the financial means to support their store. miominmio I understand your frustration. I have a friend in CA, whose daughters did Childrenâs theater and she and one other mom sewed all of the costumes for the productions. **GypsyGirl** I am so glad that you are feeling better. elaine Hugs and prayers to you and your family. I hope that you are doing okay. jeremysgirl That meal sounds delicious too!

They have some "agreements" with some local stores (for example in Albany NY) to not build there. We live in Berks county in PA. They just built one in Lancaster PA. But I guess people from our county have petitioned Wegmanâs and I read the article about it.

Happy dating Anniversary scrappintoeeHappy Birthday to your ds, destined2bmomelaine, thinking of you and wishing you and son well. I hope that his treatment is productive and healing. Montannie, you are saving the production, but it's too bad that the other moms are dropping the ball. @gar, dh loves cornbread, but I think it's too dry.
