I believe that Viagra is the worst invention ever . I think men should need permission from their wives/girlfriends, a 3 day waiting period, a sonogram of their penis, and only doctors w/admitting privileges should be able to prescribe it. I know it's only February, but I'm voting for this as best post of 2019!

And the places these doctors work out of must have at least a three foot wide hallway in order for it to be legal.

Isn’t all prostitution now being called sex trafficking? No. Here is NY's answer: 1. What is human trafficking? There are two types of human trafficking recognized by New York Law: sex trafficking and labor trafficking. 2. What is sex trafficking? Sex trafficking is when someone profits from or advances the prostitution of another by certain methods. 3. What are these methods? The use of force, making threats, withholding the victim's identification documents, making someone pay off a debt by engaging in prostitution, providing the victim with drugs or using trickery to get the victim into, or hold the victim, in prostitution.

www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-02-22/ex-citigroup-president-havens-caught-up-in-prostitution-probeJohn Havens, Citigroup Inc.’s former president and chief operating officer, has been caught up in the same prostitution bust that has also ensnared New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft. The names of Havens and Kraft were on a list of 25 men being charged for soliciting prostitution in a probe that spans multiple agencies, according to the police department in the city of Jupiter. Police cited video evidence from inside the Orchids of Asia massage parlor, and a broader investigation throughout the state has seen other charges brought. Is it a small world after all or why do all questionable/illegal/immoral roads converge in trump-sphere?

Yep they always want to let the poor rich guy off. Kraft is plenty rich enough to get himself a prostitute who is not being forced but he didn’t care enough. While I wholeheartedly agree prostitution should be legal, any case that involves a person forced against their will should be prosecuted to the fullest extent using all police resources.

Yes, that is where I am on this whole situation. What happens between two CONSENTING ADULTS is their own business but when someone is soliciting young ladies at a questionable "business" and they are young and don't have the appearance of 100% autonomy to consent that is just WRONG.
He has the personal wealth that places him in a position to have zero excuses for his predicament. He could have/should have used a high end companionship business (assuming they were consenting as well).

And in this stretch of FL (Gulf side), the # of pedophiles (registered offenders and people who come here and don't register), is staggering. My daughter worked for one for a few months and was okay, luckily, but the guy got caught because he didn't register here as a registered sex offender. You'd think he'd get a lot of jail time, but he didn't. He kept trying to create job fields that put him working closely with young women and girls. The pedophile charts here are amazing. I'm not surprised at all that he got caught in FL doing this.

‘The Monsters Are the Men’: Inside a Thriving Sex Trafficking Trade in Florida www.nytimes.com/2019/02/23/us/robert-kraft-trafficking-florida.html"Sheriff Snyder said he believed at least some of the women were working to pay off debt owed for what it cost to bring them to the United States. In some cases, the women’s passports were taken away. Traffickers cycled women in and out of parlors every 10 or 20 days, Sheriff Snyder estimated. Yet making a trafficking case remains difficult, in part because the women who were victims may not want to cooperate with the police. Only one has been talking to deputies, Sheriff Snyder said. He had lined up about a dozen Mandarin interpreters, but many other women refused to speak and were let go with an offer of assistance." Anyone else think the billionaires caught up in this sting will pay off the women for their silence? Seems to be a thing w/rich white dudes and the women who make their lives messy.

Kraft ('s publicist) released a statement:
Instead of empty words, it would be wonderful if he had committed a bulk of his billions to fighting sex trafficking - which he was apparently unknowingly ensnared in himself (yeah, right).
I love that he wants to be judged on his actions, not his words. Dude, you ARE being judged on your actions - they are the actions of paying a silent foreign woman a pittance to massage you to orgasm.
So how about you take action to help others instead of just hiring a publicist. And don't release your publicist's PR until you can tell us what the start of those actions are.

Makes me sick he won't even accept the sweetheart deal laid out for him. "On Wednesday, lawyers for Mr. Kraft and 14 other men filed a motion with the court in Palm Beach County to keep private all the evidence obtained by the police in the case. This includes hidden camera video of Mr. Kraft and the men inside the massage parlor over several days in late January. In their filing, the lawyers said the evidence should remain confidential. The lawyers suggested that they do not believe that sex trafficking took place at the massage parlor. Mr. Burck said the state attorney has not agreed to keep the evidence private. “We don’t know why they wouldn’t want to protect the evidence in the case,” he said. “The images on the video would clearly be of a private nature” and the only reason to make them public would be if “the goal is to embarrass the person on the video.” Legal experts who handle prostitution cases in Florida said most defendants ultimately accept the prosecutor’s offer because the cost of fighting their cases are not worth the trouble. But Mr. Kraft may be more concerned that essentially pleading guilty to soliciting prostitution will harm his reputation as an N.F.L. owner, businessman and philanthropist. Mr. Kraft might also be penalized by the N.F.L.’s commissioner, Roger Goodell, who has broad authority to issue fines and suspensions for anyone who damages the league’s brand. The penalties, if any, could be based on the outcome of Mr. Kraft’s legal case in Florida. If the state attorney does not amend his offer, Mr. Kraft could seek a nonjury trial. That would open him up to more scrutiny, but it would also give him a forum to question how evidence was gathered in the investigation." www.nytimes.com/2019/03/22/sports/robert-kraft-prostitution.htmlThe power of money. Bends the world to your will. Sex trafficking is disgusting. This man seems vile. However, I disagree with your final line (in this specific case) about money being used to bend things. After reading your post it appears that money will allow him to seek a fair trial about how evidence was gathered, etc. That’s gross and wrong, too, that other people without money may not have that opportunity but I don’t think it’s wrong to use your resources to attempt a fair trial. What would be wrong is if his money allows him to essentially buy a non guilty verdict if he is in fact guilty.

He was offered a sweetheart deal - likely partly due to his profile. He rejects it in favor of spending millions of law enforcement dollars proving they did things by the book. He throws money around to get what he wants, a complete explunging of the record that he was caught in an illegal activity. I'm sure many poor defendants would love the luxury of raking every LE department into court to prove they did every action by the book. Sadly, the poor defendants don't have millions to piss away scaring law enforcement into giving them what they want in exchange for saving their stretched budgets.Money - it allows you to bend the world to your will.

I just have to share. At my yarn group the other night someone brought his name/situation up and I blurted out “Hey did you hear he’s gonna get off?”
I immediately face-palmed but it was too late. Good thing there wasn’t anyone but us in the library.
