You can revive your BB gel eyeliner by microwaving it for about 30 secs or blasting with a hairdryer. Is this a trick like microwaving your iPhone?

If you don't want to spend a lot of $$...
I use Fergie (Wet n Wild) eye primer and Rimmel waterproof eyeliner. It isn't perfect, but better then any other drugstore brand.

I use a gel pot eyeliner from Maybelline called Eye Studio. When I line my waterline with it, I dip the end of one of my makeup brushes (not the brush end) and swirl it in the pot and put it on my waterline like that. It stays so well all day that it's almost hard to wash off at night!

I've done expensive pencils and been disappointed, even the Chanel built-in sharpeners waste so much of the pencil. I finally realized I do better with brush pens than pencils and buy Stila. I can smudge it while it's still wet if I want to. It stays all day and works great.

Tattoo? I had my lower lids tattooed on because I usually ended up with little on by the end of the day -
I do use Stila for the upper lids though

I've found the staying power of UD liners varies a lot from shade to shade. I have the best luck with Demolition (dark brown) and Empire (deep purple).

Bobbi Brown gel doesn't stay on me.........I've tried all sorts of primers and nothing stays long. The only one I haven't tried yet is the Urban Decay one......I'm not holding my breath :frown: Ditto that

Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner pencil. I believe it's $18. It's the best eyeliner I have used. Pretty much the only brand I use. I loved Bobbi Brown's gel pot but they dry out quickly, and back when I used it they didn't really have lighter shades for a daytime look for a fair skinned redhead. That may have changed, it's been several years. What colors do you use? Sounds like we have similar coloring. I typically don't wear eyeliner because it seems to harsh when I use it. Maybe a better color would work.

It was Chanel. I got it at Nordstrom and I've been using it since that thread. it does stay on me all day which other eyeliner didn't do. I believe it was Paige who told us about it. And it was $30ish Yes, that was it! THANK YOU! Just popping in to suggest Chanel and realize I was the one who mentioned it on the other thread. I buy mine at a drug store or a dept store that carries Chanel. It stays on all day. I took a shower with it on the other day and it stayed on through my shower. I also like how there is a sharpener built in. I buy the dark, forest green and it really compliments my green eyes.

I have no problem at all with my eyeliner staying on all day and it's from Avon. I think they are called Glimmersticks and they are about $4.00! This is what I use too. I only order when it's 4/$10.I use these, also! I stock up when it's 4/$10- can't beat that price!

I love the Urban Decay 24/7 pencils. I like a more smudged, smokey look most of the time. I also wet my liner brush and use a dark eyeshadow to blend in with the liner or when I want a very diffused look, I use the eyeshadow as a liner. My favourite eyeshadow is Urban Decay's Naked palettes, so they stay on very well.
Allure has named the new drug store Silkissime liners one of their winners this year. I can't wait to try it. It looks like the perfect blend between a pencil and a liquid liner.
I love doing a little cat eye when I do my liner. (it also hides my first crow's feet lines) I don't do a lot of liner on the bottoms of my eyes most of the time because everything smudges so badly on me.

I'm a person who touches her face and especially her eyes too many times during the day, especially during my many allergy seasons, so my eye makeup never lasts. I got a freebie of Clinique Quickliner for Eyes Intense in the chocolate color in one of those "gift with purchase" promotions, and I was immediately impressed by it's staying power. It even stays on at the beach/pool! It's the only eyeliner I buy now. I've tried other Clinique eyeliners but they don't stay on nearly as well.

I use a Stila waterproof and really like it it; it's the only brand of eyeliner I buy now. Me too- love stila twist up eyeliner! Also I like that I can get a multipack of colors for like $18-30 depending on quantity (3-6 liners) instead of just paying $18 for one. They last forever too- good size. They glide on and stay on and come In tons of colors.

By the sounds of your varying answers here, maybe it has something to do with your skintype if it works for you or not? I have very oily skin, and the oil rubs away any pencil eyeliner with me The only thing that stays are certain liquid ones that just stays on like glue i don't have oily skin, but my eyes water often from allergies and contacts and because it's a day ending in "y".. who knows. i agree with you on liquid liner-the liquid maybelline unstoppable waterproof all-day liner is the only thing that has worked for me. my local stores only carry it in black and brown, i wish they made a plum. been using it for 3 years now and still LOVE it. only occasionally will the cat's eye flip part wear off just a bit near the corner of my eye, if my eye has been watering a lot that day.

A must for me is the Urban Decay primer.
The Urban Decay liner was horrible for me.
I like Sephora's brand and Clinique liner.
