Where do you buy supplies?

whenever I travel to Reno I stop by Scrapbook Paradise, the only lss I even know about these days. I will do some shopping on Amazon, Hobby Lobby when paper packs are 50%off...Michaels for basics.

and of course my yearly foray to the Scrapbook Expo in Santa Clara is a huge shopping weekend for me.

Well until we moved here I was mostly buying from myself (CTMH). Now that I have some real box stores I have been shopping there - Tuesday Morning, Hobby Lobby, Joann's and Micheal's - I had all but Hobby Lobby in San Diego but they stores there just stunk and there really weren't any local scrapbook stores. I tried to support local but they never had what I wanted and the one that was local just closed this week - to my knowledge there isn't a local scrapbook store here Oh and I recently bought some PL from Amazon - the really cheap prices made up for the lack of quality and overall I am happy with my purchases but only because they were so cheap.

I also try to check out LSS's when I travel. I visit a great store in Talent, Oregon, Scrappycraft I got to go there today for some crafty goodness! Fun store!
I shopped at 2peas on line. I have tried ACOT. If I can't get it local I will check out online, but not too often.

ACOT and Scrapbook.com are the two online stores. I've had one purchase with SSS and I will be buying from them again. All three of these stores have been great. I just stumbled upon Scrapbook Generations so I am going to check them out too. I like that she is also a brick and mortar store. I wish that I had one! I get a few things at Michael's, AC Moore, JoAnn's and Hobby Lobby, mainly adhesive and mixed media, but as far as paper and embellishments I get them online.

I primarily buy SU! (Another demo) but I do shop @ Michaels, Joann's, & Hobby Lobby too. The LSS have all closed but one.

My [HASH]1 scrapbook store lately is Tuesday Morning. I have only been getting back into scrapbooking for about the last year, so it's all new to me. It has been a great inexpensive way to add lots of fun paper, stamps, embellishments and items that I didn't even know existed until I found the Peas (wood veneer, Thickers, washi, to name a few.)

I ordered online from Two Peas at first, but then they didn't seem to have much. Since then I've placed some orders from Scrapbook.com and A Cherry on Top. I am fortunate to be fairly close to the Prima Warehouse, and they've had some nice sales on top of already discounted prices. I try to support my LSS's (there are 3 really good ones) when I can, but their inventory just can't compete with the selection to be had elsewhere.

I shop Scrapbook.com and Amazon. I'm thinking of trying ACOT as well. I also go to Michaels since it's close by.

We have several local Dollar and Two stores, as well as a few close out type stores, that have HUGE scrapbooking aisles. The Dollar and Two stores particularly. Their aisles are comparable in size to the smaller Joanne's. They carry a lot of name brand stuff from a season or two past. Most is $1.50 or cheaper. The owner (a man) does not scrapbook but he takes scrapbook classes to learn what is current and what of the "older" stuff would work currently and that is what he stocks. He has 6 stores within a 25 mile radius of my house and their stock varies from store to store.

I get 85% of my embellishments from there. Almost all of my embellishments on the layouts I posted came from there. Paper isn't too great. Other deals:

Page refills 10 for 2.00 as a bonus they come preloaded with Kraft paper that I add to my paper- various styles/ sizes available
Albums 10.00 but not the style I use but a good deal.
Washi tape bundles for 1.50- 2.00 4 or so rolls
Adhesive runners 1.50-- my sister uses these and likes them.
Kits 2.00-3.00
Mat stacks for a few bucks
Paper trimmers 10.00+
Glue dots- name brand 1.00 those sold out quick!
Big paper carriers with handles 2.00.
Packs of 5 13x13 paper holders with snaps for 1.00- I bought like 20 packs. They are nice heavy and I think the name brand was Generation Scrapbook. I assigned one per school year to each kid and their school memrobelia, pics, report cards etc, each year gets slid in there and at the end of the year it gets labeled and filed. The rest I use to make kits.

He also has a craft section that I get feathers and other things to use for embellishments.

A lot of my early organization came from here, too.

It's a local thing. A man owns them locally. It's not a franchise. Our dollar tree has nothing either we have a grocery store that has an "out of date" section and off of that they have a little scrapbooking section similar to the dollar and two. I get a lot of items there,too.

Tuesday Morning, Michael's, Joann's for physical stores. I've ordered once from ACOT and a few times from scrapsteals and craftysteals. TM is my current favorite though, especially since they've expanded their supplies!

I buy most of my things from Paper Issues as I love the store, owner etc. I also buy from FF and now and again if a kit grabs me I will buy it (I do not sub anywhere, have not for over a year) to be honest though in a year I have bought maybe 4 or 5 kits (mostly from CT)

I live in NZ though and do not really have a good LSS.
