for my next dumb question how do I tag someone so I can comment on their layout? Thanks! Easy Peasy. Stick a @ symbol right in front of their PeaName when you spell it out. So ... @ grammadee (for example), but without the space between.

teacherlisa - thank you, you're so sweet (and I'll give you the advanced tagging lesson - for some of us, you have to hover over our names to see our tag name as it's not the same as the screen name - mine is @ homeschoolmum - leave out the space)

linda You've been super productive and busy. I really like the poem page, your daughter will appreciate this I am sure. So many great pages with fun themes. KikiPea REALLY great clusters on your page. The photos are darling. nylene What great layouts for the "before" part of the pageant. Plus the 5th grade camp layout is so fun. I think I have similar photos of my DS#1. 2marbles You are jumping in with both feet. I've not done OLW, but I love your take on the project! I've been cleaning and organizing all day . . . so no scrapping for me. Oh wait I did finish a card this morning and took some photos but am too tired to edit and post right now.

linda - super impressed with you! Great clean pages; your Easter page has a great egg cluster! I also love your "Spring" page with the title banner and brad detail. teacherlisa - I like peering at details and journaling on PL style/PL pages! The digital page is great, I love open white, and the circle element adds that little zing. nylene - wow, a 2 pager with die cuts! I love the colours, love how the photos sit under their respective borders, the starry sky, the sequence/story of photos - awesome as always! And your placement of embellies on "5th grade camp" is perfect, drawing my eye through the page, giving each element room to breathe, how can you get so much on a page and yet not make it cluttered? You rock these pages. KikiPea - oh MY do I love your page - the star clusters, the layered elements, the grey with strip of striped colour, the title work - it's really superb!

teacherlisa, I love all the thoughtful journaling and quotes in your OLW journal. And your journeying into digi is a smash! I love the way you placed the small square photos and then mixed them up with the circle stamps. Linda, your Easter egg decorating page is a classic. Love that cluster with the eggs and the bunny.

teacherlisa, Great job on your OLW project. I love your handwriting and the cute stamps you have used. I have never done OLW or followed it, so I am glad you are posting so I can better understand it. I can’t get one of your Instagram photos to come up. The Counting Joys is such a great idea. I need to do that more often. I love the sentiment about how it looks on the outside vs how it is. Very poignant. I am making a note of “comparison is the thief of joy”. Great motto. ~ Great job on the Zoo page using digital. You did a classy job. I love the grid. You have to be more computer savvy than I am. ~ I love the goals you have set for Open Up. What a great project this is. Thanks for sharing. Linda, your pages about your gifts from Okinawa said one thing loud and clear..Your son really worked to get things that everyone would love. That shows a lot of love and attention to detain. That koi paper is gorgeous. ~ I love the font on your Sisters page. Such a great design and colors. I always love banners. There is something so special about sisters. ~ I love the pastel buttons on your Easter layout. That funky font is perfect. I love that bunny egg holder on your table. So cute. 2marbles, my camping page is all paper. I’m too computer challenged to do digi. I think I would miss the tactile elements of cutting and gluing. Thanks. thracian, I love the soft colors you use so often. The design from corner to corner is really nice. The darker print leads the eye right to your pretty photo. I loved Lava Hot Springs as a child. We often went there. Sweet page. Nice to have that memory recorded. Embri, what cute little critters you have made. I love the paper piecing elements and the matching cards tucked in behind. Adorable!

your OLW album is coming along nicely, teacherlisa. Love the quote on top of the lovely photo, and alternating between photo and journaling on your pages. thracian, your page is gorgeous. Love all the layering, the soft colours, the diagonal divide between the papers. And of course that lovely photo. You look so happy in it. Embri those little critters are DARLING!!! How did you cut them? Dies? Cut files? Did you use different colours of patterned paper, or did you colour the pieces? Inquiring minds want to KNOW !

LOVED the beautiful Vicki Boutin LO (second pic) so much that I had to do an interpretation of it. Mine is much busier than hers because I was having way too much fun with all of my pretty goodies from her Kaleidoscope collection, as well as Field Notes, flower diecuts from Cheeky Studio, and papers from both Jen Hadfield and Dear Lizzy. The background is a premade design from the mixed media paper pad. ❤️❤️❤️ *Shared a LO: 1 *Did a challenge: 1 *Earth Day: 1 *Scrap spring photos: 2 *Birds Bees and Butterflies: 1 *Hearts and Stars Oh my: 6 *Label it: 1 *Premade and Done: 1 *Handwriting: 1 *Go Retro-Twine: 1 *ReNEW it: 1 *Be There Or Be Square: 1 *Donna Challenge: 1 *Textured clusters: 2 *Uncoordinated: 1 *Flower Power: 1 >>>>>>>>>>>I assume my flowers all count as one cluster, correct AussieMeg? *Tie Me Up: 1 *Mix it up: 1 *Use that pretty cardstock: 1 *Edged or Distressed: 1 *Layers it up: 1 *Birthstones: 1 TOTAL pts: 29

Ack! I'm getting behind! You ladies are prolific already this month! nylene I left love in the gallery! teacherlisa I really love seeing your smaller format pages. I often think I want to do something like that but get lost figuring it out. You are so authentic in your journaling and that is something I would like to feel brave enough to do. Your pages are making me want to sub to the AE kits linda that is a sweet sisters LO. Love the colors and the PP you chose! I'm amazed at all the photos you were able to get on the Okinawa LO and yet it looks just right! Those buttons on the Easter lo are so cute! thracian I love this LO! The dark and light paper on the diagonal is striking and draws the eye straight to the photo. Beautiful LO KikiPea! It's a work of art! Embri such cute cute little critters! That little bow tied raccoon is my favorite!

Embri those little critters are DARLING!!! How did you cut them? Dies? Cut files? Did you use different colours of patterned paper, or did you colour the pieces? Inquiring minds want to KNOW ! They're all die cuts! The deer, fox and raccoon are the 'default' animals that come with the base + the card pocket, while the unicorn and otter are my own designs. They use a bunch of different die sets, sometimes multiple dies per part. Other bits and pieces were leftovers - the leaves, seashells, acorn, stars, etc. The colouring varies, a combination of alcohol markers and/or coloured paper. The deer and raccoon are basic coloured cardstock with copic details/accessories. The otter, fox and unicorn are all made from white cardstock, coloured with markers. The unicorn also has painted stars for the hair since leaving tiny bits of white was impractical. Stars and horn are cut from scavenged metallic packaging. The bundle, book and pocket on the unicorn are the only patterned paper in these guys.

OK, I cheated on this card! I needed another sympathy card, and decided to simply repeat the one I made last month. Of course, the colouring and arrangement is slightly different than the first, but I did CASE it. Still took 2 hours... The background pp is new Jillibean soup "Garden Harvest" line. I plan to buy a couple more sheets of it. That grey, with the flower, is gorgeous. I die-cut the elements in white and vellum, and used copics to colour. The pictures are the detail of the outside, and detail of the inside. card thinking of you by kirstendrew, on Flickr card thinking of you inside by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Embri -Wow, those are wonderful, I don't know that I have the patience to work with all those tiny paper pieces. You did a fantastic job coloring and making them look realistic.
KikiPea -You are a master at lovely single page layouts with loads of interesting embellishments. You did have fun!
kitbop -Yes, BTDT with CASEing myself for cards and such. Still time consuming, but part of the gift of love to the recipient! Wonderful sympathy card.

thracian - lovely layout, pink and grey/black are always a favourite colour scheme for me. And you look so *relaxed* in your photo, the layout really accentuates relaxed and feminine! Embri - adorable! I've held back from purchasing those dies because I just don't have people to give them to...but I love them.
