teacherlisa , I missed commenting on your Prickly Pear page. I love the photo and that you celebrated getting it started this way. The green background is perfect and I love the artsy sketched borders. 2marbles , you have made a great start on the room décor. I love the telephone on this bible verse. Made me giggle, but I love it! Linda , I see you are at it again. The photo on Cool Cat is hilarious!!! Perfect title. Love how you used the bright yellow to link the title to the photo. Love all the pastels on your Easter pages. Such a classic Easter LO and so pretty.

starting the Prom layouts - the background paper is more silver in person - it scanned more colourfully. Not 100% keen on the hand-written journalling but some-cat broke the paper rack off my printer (probably the same-cat that broke the scanner cover) and I'm going to need to buy a new printer. Those alphas are OLD - they are leftover from my wedding album. "Prom" (2pg 8.5x11) = 2 (layout) + 2 (sharing) + 1 (#7 April photos) + 1 (#20 handwriting) + 1 (#24 someones I love) + 1 (#29 new PP) + 1 (#31 rectangles) + 1 (#55 silver background and alphas) + 1 (#62 cardstock) +1 (April stash - last purchase) = 12pts

another prom layout - and again the silver background is more silver in real life. And the layout doesn't look as off-kilter either - I don't think I got a good scan brads are old Queen & Co... "CHS Prom" (8.5x11) = 1 (layout) + 1 (sharing) + 1 (#7 April photos) + 1 (#15 hearts) + 1 (#24 someone I love) + 1 (#29 new PP) + 1 (#31 rectangles) + 1 (#38 grid) + 1 (#55 silver brads/alphas/PP) + 1 (#62 cardstock) + 1 (April stash brads/last purchase) = 11pts

last Prom layout - the title is a bit too dimensional for the scanner to like (it's a Jolees that I picked up on clearance for $1) "Prom Formal" (8.5x11) = 1 (layout) + 1 (sharing) + 1 (#7 April photo) + 1 (#15 stars) + 1 (#18 premade title) + 1 (#24 someone I love) + 1 (#29 new PP) + 1 (#31 rectangles) + 1 (#55 silver in title/PP) + 1 (#62 cardstock) + 1 (April stash - last purchase/premade title) = 11pts

Lots of eye candy here! I will be back to comment on each. Here are the two cards I put together today. This first one is for a friend who's birthday is Easter weekend. He loves to tell us (jokingly) how wonderful he is. The inside of this card says "Always Fabulous!". Always fabulous by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This second card is for my dgs who will be 16 in a couple of weeks. He dreams of getting his drivers license and driving a pickup truck. truckin' 16 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Points: two cards created & shared (4). #4 cards (2). #8 die (1). #11 fussy cut hat (1). #26 greeting (1). #rectangles (2). #43 OLD pp (2). #61 two pp's (1). #63 inked edges (2). #68 sketched truck details (1). Linda , your prom pages are beautiful. I love that silvery mosaic look background and that large glitzy Prom title. I like the letter/number pp on the A-B page. I like the blocking on WES, and good job with the TV screen pic's, but I can't read the journaling. Gorgeous photos on Nature Walk. Glad you hid the journaling about the not-so-happy incident. The flower page is very dramatic looking. Love the overlapping triangle border and the banners. thracian I guess we can't love them all, but I actually think this page is cool. Great way to document your concert experience and I like how you clustered the elements leaving the white space. That is something I don't often do, but I really love the look of. I also like the flag banner. KikiPea, that is a GORGEOUS photo! I love how he is looking out at the world, wanting to get out there and explore. I like the title on top of the photo. angel97701 I will leave love for your gorgeous cards on Flickr.

I'm really loving the Dark Rainbow paper pad from Michaels - I used it on the prom layouts and now on this one. My scan cut off the right edge... "Astronomy" (8.5x11) = 1 (layout) + 1 (sharing) + 1 (#7 April photos) + 1 (#12 PL card) + 1 (#15 stars on PP) + 1 (#20 handwriting) + 1 (#24 someone I love) + 1 (#31 rectangles) + 1 (#55 silver on PP) + 1 (#61 2PP) + 1 (#62 cardstock) + 1 (April stash - last purchase/PL card) = 12pts

That is a beautiful paper line, Linda. Sadly I don't think it is available in Canada. I like how you used the phases of the moon as a horizontal border. BTW I am liking your handwritten journaling. I think you will find that b/c it is so much easier (one step) and flexible (anywhere on the page) that you may find yourself a handwriting convert!

Thank you grammadee - hopefully it'll show up in Canada soon as it really is lovely and quite different from most lines. I'm trying to like the handwritten journalling but ...I don't like my handwriting and it's harder to fit the space available...

linda - great use of papers (like the geometric on the prom pages) to bring out your photos and mood. "nature walk" really stands out for the greens. angel97701 - cute cute rainbow cards@ thracian - I like the balance between the upper photo cluster and the lower cluster on your page. It lets you do that whack of journaling without it feeling crowded, and leads a person to actually read what you wrote! KikiPea - fabulous, love the use of pps at top/bottom to echo the photo, and your mixed media tucked in there. grammadee - adore your cards, is that scenic route paper? The colours are wonderful.
