Love for the rest of page 3 - I'm so behind! But I'm also so wowed by everyone's work! gramma I love this album you are making and I love that background paper! Your little characters are adorable! dasmith2 Those stripes! I love the bright colors and your pickachu photos really pop on those papers! 2marbles I love those papers with that photo! It has a 70's vibe and I that tilt on the pic looks great! Embri those are great! I could never color like that and I'm not much of a stamper either. I love seeing the cards everyone makes, it inspires me to try it myself.

Catching up with posting after a crop...and being semi-lazy. Only You by Sandi D, on Flickr 20 points Gotta Wear Shades by Sandi D, on Flickr 21 points -- sorry a bout the glare here. Like I said....feeling busy/stressed and in a hurry and had already put it in the album!

It's not nearly as hard as it looks, really, truly. If you can fill in a shape and make lines and dots, you can do pretty much all the things I make. They only look complicated / hard*. A good 80% of the parts are a straight colour-with-one-or-two-markers-and-done deal. *caveat here that if you have severely impaired manual dexterity or vision, then yes possibly out of reach. :c

2marbles - those are lovely! That big heart framing your photo (and she's beautiful) is perfect! Love the pink and black for the baby layout - and what a cutie- even without a smile!

This is probably most of what I'll get done for April. One big picture dump coming up! Pile one and pile two of now sharp-edge-free dies, ready to be organized and stored at last. (They have since all found homes in my magnetic sheet planners after these pics were taken.) My remaining Pile of Shame is severely shrunken! If you ever wanted to know what 15+ hours of painstaking metal filing work looks like, well now you know. Last pic is the before picture (aka the Pile of Shame). Anyone who wants to play guess-the-die-set is welcome to do so!
Random colourings. Copic Markers on 199gsm cardstock. Dragons are stamped, the rest are all made from die sets. Yes that's a watermelon themed Stegosaurus. Don't ask, I really don't know why! This is the main reason I've fallen off the 'do something every day bandwagon' I wanted. Needed a card rather unexpectedly for a very special circumstance, so about 8+ hours got put into this one over the course of the better part of a week. Gatefold with coloured cardstock die-cut background elements, pop-ups, embossing folder leaf texture, pigment inks. Owls are the usual alcohol marker deal. Pictures didn't come out well on this alas; the colours are much more vibrant in real life. And yes, I'm snail-slow at making cards, largely because I design my own. Doing what's already been done is not exciting to me and I want my gifts to be unique if I'm going to spend such a cost-inefficient amount of time making them.

I have been absent most of the month, but will start here and work backward commenting on your pretty pages. AussieMeg, 2marbles, gramma, kitbop, you have love in the gallery. Embri, you have wonderful coloring skills. I love your gatefold card. I think it looks great. It looks like a huge job on your dies. I need to go through and cut or file off some of my sharp points that gouge me. That’s a big project finished. dasmith2, I love your double pager. That pinwheel quilt design at the bottom center is so pretty. I love the way you have carried it into individual pinwheels throughout the pages. Great fishing photos too. Linda, your Field day page looks like everyone had a lot of fun. It looks like it was a beautiful day for Field Events. Do you homeschool every grade or did your children do some school grades too? ~ Spring Fling also looks like a fun and exciting day for kids. Bounce houses and slides are always a hit. Beautiful use of a grid design.~ Signing Ceremony. Someone once told me that every page doesn’t need to be a masterpiece, it just needs to tell a story. Therefore, don’t think of this as boring, it is beautiful and tells a story that just a photo will bring to remembrance. Definitely needs to be included. ~UFC Bound and Mosh, I love the angles made by putting the banners together. Very eye catching! ~ I love the designs on your Hogs Mead and Spring pages. Clean and classy pages. sleepingbooty, your Notre Dame Fire page makes me sad. What a beautiful place for such a devastating fire. What a loss. I am glad that it can be rebuilt. Thanks for scrapping it and sharing it here. craftymom101, I love the cut file behind your photo. Your mosaic work is amazing. Such a gorgeous, eye catching layout. I love your colors. Simply perfect layout! Did you make the cut file? Your cards with the die cuts are beautiful. Total elegance! BBL to try to catch up a bit more.

Do you homeschool every grade or did your children do some school grades too? Thank you nylene We've done a mix of homeschooling and public schooling over the years - DS did a year of Catholic school also. Right now DD12 is in public school. We decide each spring/summer what will be best for the student and the family for the coming year...I suspect that DD will stay in public school through graduation at this point - all of mine did public high schools.
