Totally agree with you about Cricut, Provocraft and Lisa.
I won't buy anything ever again from Provocraft. The sad thing is that all these years the Expressions have the connection capability and they just poo-poohed it; then the Imagine and Gypsy fiascos. No more - and I don't care who they put in front of the camera to schill for them. I simply don't trust the machines and their claims of what it will do because so much of their stuff didn't do and they never stood behind it.
I used to adore Lisa and her layouts (especially when she was on QVC), but the last few years she's stepped up the SELL SELL SELL mantra to a point that I expect her to pull out some life insurance papers along the way and tell us we need that too!
Teresa needs to up her game - not that I'm a fan after her last Vegas event - but still, she came across so unprofessional with uhh, uhhh, ya knows, and inability to locate stuff, let alone the guy stepping on the plug (funny enough she seemed to handle that the best of all of it) ... learn buzzwords and use them (just not as much as Lisa B does). Obviously gold is in now because they're all doing it and all using the pocket/project life systems. ::yawn::

You're right..."I've got life insurance papers here and a bridge in Utah to sell you", send three payments and sign here..LOL You are funny!!! I gotta give it to her, she's good! She can sell ice to eskimos. I still like her and her blog/website though. And....I Love TC but I am always left scratching my head. Its like she designs all the stuff so it should be first hand knowledge and easy to talk about but she's always a deer in the headlight. hugh? Maybe it's live TV nerves? She was great with the plug/host mess-up b/c it happens and it was his fault. She recovered well for him. I follow her blog...I'm on the waiting list for Vegas next year but am wondering if I should second-guess it? What the heck happened with Ginger and then the change in name/host for next year? What happened this year that seemed to turn lots of folks off with that crop? Can you tell us the details please?? Thanks!!!

I didn't go to Vegas this year - after 2 years of her pre-cutting everything and ZERO teaching, I'd had enough. I'd gone to 7 IUs in total (huge Ginger fan) so no small amount of money was spent. But creativity was gone with TC - just roll out new colors, slap some jewels on it and call it brand new. Funny, but when we first went you'd get a complete kit, and everything to make the sample - and she'd teach you something. The last 2 years was "here's the sample and you can shop over there for the extras you need" ... yeah pass. The best of the classes were not TC's. Layle, Paula, Joey, Kimber - they all went full out and it was so appreciated. You're with TC 3 hours each day ... with pre-cut stuff that you had ZERO creative input on. And it was the same thing with small variations (like color) every single year. This year was PL wanna be - know more than a few who left it on the table or in the hotel trash can when they were leaving. I don't know the details of why Ginger is out - all I know is that she was the coordinator of hotel, people, product and classes (in the actual event and the day before) - and did an awesome job handling an event that was getting bigger and bigger every year. Instead of approx 10-12 volunteers to take sign ups for next year, there were just 2 of TC's people. Price went up, and deposits are no longer refundable. And I'm certainly not interested. I quit her blog and I unfriended her on FB because she's all marketing ALL.THE.TIME (although she should learn how to spell Silhouette on her blog if you want them as a sponsor - sorta Marketing 101).

I think Michaels had one of the new PL Kits. I think it was the Notes & Things, just the cards and embelishments in a box for $14.99. It didn't have the album or pages. Saw it on an end cap where they show new things.
