Linda, You are super impressive with your completed albums and working binders. But more impressive is your ability to go without a stove/oven!! If you stopped cooking, I bet DH would fix the circuit breaker. Plus you would get out of cooking a few days. Win-Win! I’d tell you to have fun at WM but it’s never fun to go to WM. Will your dd help you with journaling for the photos she sends? I like the clothing layout. I like the papers on the bon voyage page, it really compliments the photos. DH would happily eat cereal or sandwiches so not cooking would only hurt me. I usually go back to our FB chat where she sent me the photos to help me with the journalling - sometimes I use her texts verbatim (the quoted part on the bon voyage page is hers) and sometimes I paraphrase.

Last time I was making page kits, I realized that I didn’t pay much attention to the b sides 🤦♀️ How do you all sort your pp? I don't really have any sorting in my patterned paper storage but I do put the side I'm mostly likely to use facing up. I don't have a massive stash (a bit over 4 inches) so I'm ok to flip through everything I own. Because I flip the papers when I'm searching I can see both sides so I can still see if a pattern I thought I'd never use looks like it's the perfect match. That probably didn't help you at all!

I pulled out papers for 5 page kits yesterday and put the paper layers for three of them together last night. I still need to embellish and add journaling before they're done, but it's much more than I expected to complete.
I have some running around to do today but I'm hoping to come back and finish those pages this afternoon.

Linda, oh, yeah, we’ve talked about that before. Men are so strange. Chinagirl828, Good job for doing more than you expected. Well it’s 9:15 here and I finished my last Easter layout for 2018. I’m thinking of doing some shopping and going to bed. I'm super tired.

Wow, Linda you're still going! It sounds like you have a good thing going with your daughter. Elsabelle your Fantasmic page looks very bright and cheery. Dark photos are a challenge. msliz I love what you're doing with Sparkle City. LisaDV I love the colors you're using. That cake looks delicious. I got a bit distracted looking at Geralyn Sy's In a Creative Bubble shop for digital stamps/brushes to embellish my pages. I've tried to be good about not buying things until I need them (one of the joys of digital) but now I have several sets in my cart. 10% off for NSD. I'm better at leaving things plain than adding embellishments so I really don't want to buy a bunch of stuff and then never use it. (even digital.)

Linda, fabulous use of blue on Let your light shine. I can't read the journaling. joblackford, I wish I had your resolve. I just spent $50 between the Lily Pad and The Digital Press and am trying to pair down my list of goodies at Sweet Shoppe Designs because the carts already at $50.I have 3 different kits that can be used for pool layouts. We are more pool than beach especially since the new house has a pool. I think I'll sleep on it. Is anyone else on proboards via computer. I keep getting an add at the bottom of the page "Cardiologist reveals 1 super food that accelerates weight loss" has a hand with what looks like chia seeds in it, but every time I see it, I think mouse droppings and it's grossing me out really bad. I like chia seeds, but not mouse droppings. Is that how they get you to purchase the add free site. Sorry, if you don't see it and now have this image in your head. I just need another ad already. With that lovely thought to complete your night. I think I'll turn in. I'll be back tomorrow. I don't even know what I'll be working on. Easter was my to-do list this weekend.

LisaDV I have an ad blocker on so I only get the "you have an ad blocker on" banner. But mouse droppings … eww. Maybe you need to google some obscure things to get the ads to change

jeremysgirl I unpacked my Cameo (silhouette), i rooted around in all the unpacked craft stuff until I found my mat. I set up the shelf for my Cameo. I entered and cut the title for this page. I'm happy i made myself get it all out & set up. I look forward to learning to properly use it more often. Wonder by d steck, on Flickr Silhouette by d steck, on Flickr

I’ll muck with pictures tomorrow, but I ended up finishing four pages today (after getting some stuff cleaned up and put away.) I also figured out how to download some digital files from The Lilypad. Now I have to figure out how to use them—either digitally or by printing. All in all, it was a good day.

I'm finally home and trying to catch up. The visit wasn't too bad. There was quite a bit of alcohol involved. I'm going to put on my PJs and see what's been going on in my absence.

I'm just loving everyone's photos and layouts I finally have a few to share. One of them is a page I made awhile ago, but the other 3 are part of the same story, so I included it here. Two collage pages, and my first Sparkle City page. With pigeons! Msliz - what collection is that Awesome paper from?

hop2 I'm so happy you're sharing your pages with the Pinkfresh collection. I don't normally buy all the papers in a collection but I did for this one even though there are some that are outside my comfort zone so I love seeing how you're using them. That paper on your Sunset page is one that definitely has me intimidated but I really like your layout. Congrats on getting the Cameo up and running! Linda good luck getting the cut file working!

Back at justjac’s house for the night. Finished 12 more pages today plus 4 cards. Had meant to spend all weekend on hockey pages, but so far I have been scrapping everything else. Cleared the table off before I left, so should be able to get some sports pages done tomorrow. Hoping to use some of the 2-page sketches. Too tired to comment on everyone’s work, but you ladies have been creating some gorgeous stuff. Thanks so much for playing. And thanks again to LisaDV and crystalb and dasmith2 for organizing and hosting.

LisaDV, I love your choice of colours for your Easter layouts. It reminds me of the old (old) line called Sedona, but I don't remember the name of the company. The bright blue is unique and fabulous paired with orange. I get tired of scrapping the same event for many layouts...do you? I'm finishing up a Christmas layout that was rather difficult initially, but I'm liking it now. And I got a kit made! But for now it's back to work for me...
