Thank you scrappintoee - I love that paper also - I bought the collection kit mostly because it caught my eye at Tuesday Morning (although I've used other papers from the kit)

No, I definitely had that paper, jeremysgirl! I used it for dd's birthday. Love this page and use of these colors for Christmas. Love your embellishments too. It's been beautiful where I'm at in Michigan too. DH & the kids were even cleaning the pool out today. Still some more to go before it's ready for swim season. But back at the farm, it was sunny but raining earlier, haven’t check recently. Sometimes the rain sets off the security camera. joblackford, it's our pleasure. I'm glad you got motivated to restart your 52 stories. I say you should avoid the garden and stay in to scrapbook. I like your cat – friend page. If I click on the image, it comes up bigger from the flickr gallery. angel97701, way to support the industry!! You are very close to finishing your room, it will be done in no time. craftymom101, I hope your son knows how good he has it! Did he enjoy swimming yesterday? Elsabelle, I’m thinking about scrapbooking some more… Does that count? I’m glad you have been able to create. I seemed to go a little quicker yesterday. Today I’m a bit slow with only 2 pages complete, but I took the photos for both today. Linda, I’m glad you were able to participate this weekend. You always amaze me with your ability to get stuff done, even when you are doing housework and such too. I can’t read a word of that letter, but the page is just lovely. scrappintoee, I think that is my very first layout ever about scrapbooking! And it’s digital. I now totally need to document my traditional scrapbooking. No, don’t Marie Kondo your tshirts! Sorry to all the Marie Kondo fans out there, but I think she is a nut-job. ‘You should only have 30 books.’ Is she talking by subject matter and by person? As my dd said upon hearing that, “can she read? Hers would be the first book I’d get rid of.” We obviously like our books in my house. As far as your scrap area, isn’t that how you are supposed to paper scrap? When I’m scrapbooking on top of a foot tall pile, that’s when I know it’s time to clean up a bit. I usually only clean enough space for a double page plus a little extra around the border. For anyone interested in batch scrapbooking here’s a quick explanation by Sue Althouse. Sorry, I got sidetracked talking with DH this evening. He came home after the crop started on Thursday after we were both gone for a week, other than the movie and duck pond outing on Saturday, he’s been keeping his distance. But he’s getting ready for this week’s trip. I figured I should spend a few moments with him, so he feels loved before he leaves. He’s kind of needy like that. Now I’m catching up with everyone on here and it’s already 9:15. Trying to decide if I’ll try another layout to round out my number to 10 pages or if I’ll call it quits.

I don't know how to upload pictures, but I got 27 layouts done this weekend. So that makes me happy. I always batch scrapbook. I make the layout and put it in a paper tray with the scraps. Once I get 5 or 6 layouts done I set up my cricut and cut all the titles. One that is done I type up all my journaling. I have one of those recollection four shelves cubes and depending which shelf the layouts are on let me know where a given layout is in the process. I never scrap a whole layout start to finish in one setting. At the end of the month I don't make any new layouts, I just focus on clearing out my shelves. I always start the new month with empty shelves. This is the easiest way for me because I can focus on one task at a time.

Wow! Thanks for that link LisaDV. That's very interesting. My brain is way too squirrelly for that. It might be the accountant in me too that needs to see something finished before I start something new.

craftymom101! You have some skills. Those cupcakes are amazing! I did start another layout. I’m pulling stuff for it now which is always the most time-consuming part. Wishing I had all my digi items tagged. thwarth, WOW! That’s a lot of pages! Congratulations! That’s amazing! jeremysgirl, we already established I could leave a task unfinished, but I can’t’ do batch scrapbooking. I need to focus on one layout. I kind of, maybe, could do it for event styled layouts where you want a cohesive look, but that’s about it. Linda, I’m on my desktop with the 23” screen, I usually can’t read your journaling except a word or two. But the page is fantastic. I love the pattern that has the same colors as the bag and the doubled offset JC’s.

Thank you to our crop organisers and to all the participants! I had a lovely weekend of creativity - finished 24 layouts (5 of which were 2-page) and had a blast. I'm way behind on commenting here (I think I'm up to date on the May challenge sharing thread) but will do my best to get caught up. I truly appreciate everyone who has commented on my work i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r481/2peasrefugees/Smilies/love.jpg.gif

I don't think I could do it, but it sounds efficient and obviously it works really well for you - 27 pages!! I don't know if you *want* to upload pictures but there are a couple of threads with instructions for different methods, depending on where and how you might want to post pictures. Here's one thread.

Linda, I’m on my desktop with the 23” screen, I usually can’t read your journaling except a word or two. Oh that's weird. I'm on a 15" Macbook and I can read it all without clicking on anything or doing anything special. Linda I love the letter - not that I can understand most of it, but I love that she wrote to you on paper, and wrote in French too! Love the random stories of raccoons chilling and the comments on the British food too - I get that all the time when I buy HobNobs and the like at an import store. lol.

joblackford, I love your photos and your pages, and for what it's worth, I also prefer the pillowcases with the flaps to hold the pillows inside Thanks! My IG was split on the pillowcase thing when I posted - half of the people didn't know what I was talking about and the other half couldn't believe American cases don't have flaps. I love sharing that kind of cross cultural thing. Anyway, I'm looking forward to becoming your sister, living with craftymom101 and eating her cupcakes! Are you crafting tonight msliz?

Elsabelle what is batch scrapping? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question. Not dumb at all. I do several layouts up to paper and pictures. Then I’ll do embellishments on all the layouts, then titles, then journaling. It works well for me since my pc and Cameo are not in my scrap space.

I have had such a fun time too. There are so many great projects. I am just loving seeing everyone being creative. I am thankful to hop2 for making me get out the machine. I finally feel like I'm going to get some use out of it. We are even then as I am happy I got out my cameo & set it up I’ve done several titles with it since yesterday. I think it likes that it has a home now!

page 15 LisaDV - I'm sorry you can't read the journalling - I feel like there's a balancing act when I post...I don't want it too big or too small...just-right seems elusive. joblackford - thanks - I love that DD18 sends me the random stories and photos on FB chat when she's at college - I'm hoping she'll enjoy looking back on the memories one day. LisaDV - yes, calling it a night once I get the comments caught up (almost there). Thanks! Have a good night also. hop2 - love that writing backgroundPP and the soft blues! Great job getting that album just about done!

Thanks again LisaDV and crystalb it’s really nice to have a bunch of people to scrap with and I don’t have to leave the house 👍😂 I was hoping to get more finished, but I know better than to push myself too hard- that usually doesn’t work out too well for me lol!
