dasmith2, why not make the family cook while you scrap?? ] normally that would be fine but my oldest sons bday is the 7th so I told everyone we would have a birthday dinner, I forgot it was a crop weekend lol I had to coordinate it with all the older kids work schedules so I wasn’t thinking about scrapping at the time. I found a strawberry cheesecake dump cake on Pinterest I want to try, just haven’t thought out supper yet. I have quite a few go to meals that are quick, but nothing sounds good yet. Once I figure out what to cook, dh will help with it, just need to be able to tell him what I need help with 😂 I’ll talk to him, he can probably think of something for Sunday. oaksong , we suckered you in with all of our excitement and chatter, didn’t we? You just can’t put your stuff away like that. I think if dd is graduating college you need to work on layouts from when she was younger. Oh, yes! I put it away and got it out again 2 days later.  The joy of the last tuition payment has gone hand-in-hand with nostalgia for my little ones. I get to relive the memories all over again with my scrapbooks. |

jeremysgirl, always happy to help. And it didn’t come with a fee. DS always offers to tell his Grandma (my MIL) when she’s visiting that he has a test to take and needs mom to administer it. He charges by 15-minute increments. So far I haven’t taken him up on it. Enjoy your dessert. pennyscraps, I think I’d rather have one big outlay of cash than lots of littles. I’d spend way more that way. Good luck finishing up. I can’t believe we’re starting in 2 days!!! I keep thinking it’s next week, remember it’s this week and then thinking I’m so not ready yet. Lol dasmith2, happy early birthday to your ds! I can see why that wouldn’t work to make them cook. Elsabelle, JA should be restocked by now. My DH has a habit of throwing wrenches in my plans for scrappy weekends. He’s became sick while traveling. I will have the job of catering to him as I will have him quarantined and making meals which he was supposed to take on over the weekend. I think I’ll order take out once or twice. --Oh, and the reason he will be quarantined is dd has a lowered immune system and we don’t want her getting the stomach virus. Otherwise I’m so ready for this crop.

If I put away the paper (traditional) I pull out the computer (digital). and I hope when I'm making the last tuition payment I'll be reliving baby memories. Hello! Is everyone getting excited?!?!?! Friday is almost here!!!! WOOHOOO!
Everyone have pictures printed? Papers? ADHESIVE!?! Don't forget the adhesive! Make sure you have backups. Snacks? Drinks?
I have to go out tomorrow (or maybe later today) to get snacks....probably best later tomorrow so they don't get gobbled up by my littles who seem to BOTH be growing at the same time! Today I am saving sketches and putting a few single page kits together.
How is everyone else preparing!?

I'll be kicking our crop off TOMORROW at 5pm CST!!! I'm so excited and I just can't hide it! Yeah, I'm singing the song now and yes, you are lucky that you can't hear me! Unfortunately, my kids can, but they left the room for some reason.... I need sleepingbooty to show me how to do gifs. I bet there is a gif for that song. crystalb, good reminder for snacks. I'll have to run out in the morning. If I get a chance to be on the computer tonight I will be trying to pull photos and kits into folders to make my layouts go more quickly. |

I'm so ready! I busted up my main kit into individual page kits, and I'm starting to sketch out what my layouts will look like. I have 9 pages set aside to work on, and if I manage to get them done I still have tons of Disney photos to work on. Plenty to keep me busy! They're forecasting rain for us this weekend, so I have the perfect excuse to stay in and play  |

Ok. I'm almost late to this party. Can I still attend? How does this work? Our annual IRL (does that mean in real life?) crop starts tomorrow at about 3pm. 12 of us ( including my DDIL) will be at a wonderful retreat house in Black Hawk , CO ( in the snow.) I almost have my page kits ready, the lasagna soup prepared ( I have partial dinner duty tomorrow night), festive beverages, the jeep gassed up...LET's do this! Except for minimal sleep, I will be scrapping til Sunday mid morning. My goal is....38 pages* ( possibly needing some journaling , re-sized pics or ephemera when I get home...after all, I cant bring my entire stash, but mostly finished.)

I'm so ready I keep thinking today is Thursday and that I leave for my weekend tomorrow! lol. I have several UFO's packed up to finish and more page kits than I could possibly finish in a weekend but it's good to have goals right? lol. I've also been doing plenty of shopping - which wasn't necessary but man it's fun!

Of course you can attend here too. Just pop in whenever you want and share your crop layouts (if you want to share) by Monday evening both here and on the Team thread if participating this month. (I haven’t looked real close at teams yet, that’s next on my list – after taking care of the annoying fire alarms that have been beeping since we arrived home this evening.) joyfulnana,  I hope the time passes quickly for you. I ended up going to the local Ulta beauty store and finding some of the items mentioned. Went with Tarte' primer and a Lancome make-up with some really nice properties. Skin is feeling better! |

I’m here, not scrapping I have to pick DS up from school and I’m waiting for him. Probably no scrapping for me until tomorrow. Hopefully my sinus headache is gone tomorrow because it was dibilitating today. Maybe late tonight I’ll see how my head feels

Elsabelle, covering your drink is a smart idea. I'm not that clever. Awesome that DH will be cooking too. I am doing chicken and dumplings but totally using the baking mix cheater dough. hop2, ouch! My niece who has bad sinus issues and severe migraines swears by Excedrin and Gatorade.
