Good for you!! I'm impressed. It must feel so good to be finished. That's my favorite feeling (even better than starting something). Will all your Easter pages go in to an album together or will they be slotted into a chronological album? They'll end up chronological - right now they are going roughly chronologically into my 'childhood' and 'high school' working binders but eventually I'll probably split those out by year (or group of years) into actual albums once I've scrapped all the photos I have for any given year (1970 is done but nothing else is complete until 1991 when DS was born).

Seriously you guys I thought I was doing good getting out of bed at 9:00. I stayed up until 1:00 last night. I was so into my crochet project and I was trying to stay awake until DD got home.
Two layouts, three loads of laundry, this cheesecake bars are chilling for the dinner later I don't want to go to, and my kitchen is clean. So at least I've managed to accomplish a bit.

marg , I’m listening now and Dr. Phil is quite overly dramatic. I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts and have never heard one voiced so dramatically. I’m still listening, though. I’m going to need more feedback on this podcast. I listen to a ton of them and just can’t imagine Dr. Phil doing true crime well. I listened to parts one and two this morning while I scrapped. He told the story in detail and I appreciated that he had the same thoughts and questions that so many have about crime like what were they thinking as they committed the crime. Like I mentioned before, he was overly dramatic at times. When he talked about the crime itself the drama was almost laughable but I've always liked Dr. Phil so I stuck with it and he told the story well. Part three will include an interview with Gypsy Rose.

dinner is started - baked potatoes in the crockpot - dishes washed - laundry started - I'm going to try and do one more layout before I have to start the rest of dinner (creamed corn in the other crockpot and ham in the electric roaster - I do SO miss my stove/oven). Then I have to go to WM with DH to pick up a couple more things for DD18's upcoming birthday (Tuesday) but hopefully I'll get some more scrapping done after that.
Working on DD18's college album now - she's done with year one so once I get it caught up - it'll be done until she goes back in August.

Elsabelle - it really is - both of the older ones do (DS27 is overseas with the Navy) and they love it when I scrap their pictures. So I try and keep up with their albums - I got behind on them at the beginning of the year and am now playing catchup. She's home from college so doing hers first, he'll (hopefully) be home on leave in July for the first time since Apr 2016 and I'm hoping I'll have his caught up by then.

Wah! Ladies, I am feeling so "out" of the NSD vibe and crop...just got home from work and plan to find some mojo and get scrappin', but I'm not able to read through all your pages of projects and chit chat Forgive me. Gonna try to keep in the loop the rest of the evening! Step 1: coffee Step 2: make kit Step 3: create!

Well, I was done, joblackford posted right as I did. If I were on tap-a-talk it would have frozen the whole app and I would have had to reboot the whole phone to get the app working. I'm glad you are getting motivated. What's your weather like today? Oh my goodness, thank goodness you weren't using the app! what a pain. The day started off bright and gorgeous but clouds are rolling in now. I tell myself each day that if it's sunny I need to spend an hour out in the yard weeding. But I guess it's not sunny now, so I'm off the hook. lol. We have some very unseasonable PNW sunshine coming up this week so there will be plenty of time to fix the garden up. I'm trucking along with my digi pages. I haven't figured out if any of them are actually done yet or the best way to share them but I'm really appreciating the push to work on them. I had gotten so behind and it was bumming me out. I think I have 5 weeks to catch up on now, although one of them is the hardest - how to summarize an extremely full week in Japan. I'm going to leave that till last. I gave 2 weeks of snowpocalypse at least 5 spreads so I should probably do the same for Japan. Happy to see more Shimelle pigeons on pages! hop2 I love the pigeons!

Yay! Glad so many are joining in this weekend! I’m scrapping pretty slow but that’s okay. I keep getting distracted by pets and shiny things lol. Using some scraps today so I’m really happy about that, my scrap basket is way too full. How is everyone’s scrap area looking? Messy? Clean? I think I spend more time tidying up and organizing than actual scrapping! My scrap area is an old kitchenette in our bedroom. It’s a small space but it has a long counter and lots of kitchen cabinets. I have to store my paper in stacks, and I’m really trying to decide how to sort. Last time I was making page kits, I realized that I didn’t pay much attention to the b sides 🤦♀️ How do you all sort your pp? I know I definitely need a wood grain category and a floral lol. But then I also have a buttload of pp pads with lots of both of those categories. I’m not sure how to sort my multi colored pp. What works for you guys?

Hi everyone, I am loving all the inspiration from the lots of embellies in a cluster, to mixed media, to simple LOs, to LOs with lots of journaling. I don't think I will be participating. Stupid health issues. But I will come in and look at all the awesome LOs. You ladies ROCK!!

Okay, here is what I was working on feverishly yesterday ... my overdue swap pages. I made four of these using Club Scrap papers and saying stamp, and a Unity image stamp. Got them in the mail this AM and now I can play. Click on thumbnail to see full-size.

I had no idea what y'all were going to do with all the pigeons that everyone liked so much. And i wasn't going to buy them. but then i pulled out the pigeon lady picture earlier this week and then i bought the sticker folder for just this layout. Not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of it but they will find their way somewhere. I *had* to commemorate the Pigeon lady.

My scrap area is clean - I tidy up after every layout - I don't have a big space so if I don't then I don't have space to create. PP? I sort by colour and as for the b-sides - I sort by whichever side I see myself using. Multi-coloured? I squint and sort with whatever colour I see first (if there isn't a predominant colour)

So I’m still playing around with my page. I decided it needed to really be a 2 pager so I can add more journaling than just a little snippet. Plus I have a flower I really want to use and it just won’t fit 😂

Linda, You are super impressive with your completed albums and working binders. But more impressive is your ability to go without a stove/oven!! If you stopped cooking, I bet DH would fix the circuit breaker. Plus you would get out of cooking a few days. Win-Win! I’d tell you to have fun at WM but it’s never fun to go to WM. Will your dd help you with journaling for the photos she sends? I like the clothing layout. I like the papers on the bon voyage page, it really compliments the photos. jeremysgirl, dang girl, you are on fire. Do you have a special energy drink or something? Mmm, cheesecake bars. DS has been wanting a chocolate cheesecake. I may have to indulge him soon. AWE, love your spring layout with your dog and cat in the window. It’s a beautifully designed page. That pink lace is awesome and the buttons. But, of course, your pets are just adorable. hop2, Your David layout is awesome. I love the bright teal with the black and white print. I love the topographical feel of the orange print pp and all the bird embellishments on your Park page. Elsabelle, Fantasmic! I think you nailed a bright and festive look! I bet that show was amazing. msliz, but your dd lets you follow her on FB & IG. That’s something. I’ve heard from other moms who say their kids won’t. Your NOLA pages are terrific. You are totally rocking the collages this weekend! kitbop, what Elsabelle said. We’re here. Jump in when you can. No stress. joblackford, Sorry about the clouds are rolling in, but I am glad you are off the hook from gardening. More time to scrapbook today. I think Japan deserves more than one layout for sure. lucyg, you are in the right place! It’s my understanding that if you post photos through tapatalk, or link via another hosting site like flickr or photobucket, then it doesn’t affect the board total. Your Spring layout is beautiful. Lucky swap group. dasmith2, shiny things definitely can be distracting. Sometimes I feel like the dog on the movie UP, but instead of “squirrel”, I’m like “sparkles”. Lol Of course, you need a double page so you can add a flower! Laughing a little, but I’m a total journal girl and sometimes I add it after I post my photos, but it’s what can really draw me into a layout, so I’m all for more journaling. I sort my pp by specialty, office, wood grain, polka dots, chevrons, tone on tone (so like a colored cardstock feel but with a pattern), then by moods/themes like feminine, masculine, summer brights, vintage, love, Christmas, etc. Then collections are separate. But I tend to only go there when none of my 75+ kit club or collections or homemade kits work for my photos. And of course, right now, I’m still doing digital. Oh, and I do what Linda does and sort it by the side I really see myself using. cristelina, yes, stupid health issues!! I was thinking of you the other day and wondering how you were feeling??
