hop2 I'm so happy you're sharing your pages with the Pinkfresh collection. I don't normally buy all the papers in a collection but I did for this one even though there are some that are outside my comfort zone so I love seeing how you're using them. That paper on your Sunset page is one that definitely has me intimidated but I really like your layout. Congrats on getting the Cameo up and running! Linda good luck getting the cut file working! i have an entire 20” length solid of paper & cardstock from when I used to scrap. Most of it papers I love. And yet I *had* to have that pink fresh line. Years ago I never would have bought a line like that but the colors drew me in and their Instagram posts were inspiring. I still scrap in my simple way but with a slight modern way now and those papers fit right in. I used to me a ‘B’ side scrapper I was always attracted to the B sides but I find now I’m more able to mix it up. I can’t wait to see what you do with it Chinagirl828I’m just so happy to be scrapping again. It has been a real victory for me to get that part of myself back. I don’t care if people like my albums I’m having fun making them.

Good morning! I’ll be finishing off the crop as your hostess today. Remember you have until tomorrow midnight CST to upload any layouts made through tonight at midnight CST to be eligible for the GC drawing. If playing in the monthly team challenge, you have until tomorrow to upload your layouts over there for your double points. If you are looking for inspiration for today, how about: scrapbooking a hobby using enamel dots or wood veneer paper tearing Chinagirl828, todays ad it’s a doggie and something about paw licking. I can do a dog. scrappintoee,1. you’re welcome. It’s our pleasure. 2. Wow, you had a lot of scrapbook tees. You must have done lots of crops, huh? 3. If I’ve been away from creating and I really want to create a layout, I like to lift another layout. Sometimes more than one. Maybe you could try that for your layout if you still haven’t gotten in the flow. I love the puppy layout. So cute. hop2, I love the kit you made for the Rome trip. These papers are fantastic for the adventure. I see from other posts it’s Pinkfresh. That makes sense why I like it. I tend to really like their lines. YAY for setting up and using your Cameo!! You are going to have so much fun. Love the large photo as a background. Linda, good luck. Your campfire is fabulous! It’s perfect for your layout. ComplicatedLady, cleaning & organizing and 4 pages – well done! Do you have Photoshop Elements? There are tutorials for using it. But that’s what I use, so I can help with my limited knowledge if you need it. jeremysgirl, how was the cheesecake? Lots of alcohol involved, did you figure out which adult beverages go with which scrapbook collections or themes? grammadee, I knew you’d be creating up a storm. Yay for you! kitbop, YES! I put off event scrapping for so long, then I realized, I just get tired of doing the same thing over and over. But I want the event to have a cohesive feel. I now force myself to do them. I found it’s easier to do them digitally too. I can use that same piece of paper for the background without buying 20 of them. LavenderLayoutLady, I’m loving all the inspiration too.

The layout I finished last night before bed. DH threw me under the bus last Easter and let the kids know I was the shaving cream prankster so DD got even by chasing me around with a hand full of shaving cream & finally getting me. dE2018_GettingEven by Lisa Davolt, on Flickr

Good morning! WOW y'all were super productive and chatty yesterday! I got into the groove yesterday and had SO MUCH FUN (sorry I fell off the radar!) Mojo was really flowing and I was afraid if I stopped it would dry up! I ended up getting 10 pages done, all different subjects and pulled 2 more kits. I think I am going to pull some more kits today to get the juices flowing. Everyone is in the basement today (where my space is) since it is raining. DH has a hashbrown casserole cooking so I will have to break for that in a bit to eat. I am going to go hop around and collect cut files etc.
I did some damage at scrapyourtrip last night before turning in. I have never shopped there before but they had HOCKEY and HARRY POTTER and MINECRAFT all things the kids are super into right now so I stocked up for the future. Thats ok right?
Did you shop at all yesterday? What did you buy? What did you find for free?

No shopping for me. I have enough. What I really need to do is order April's photos.
This morning I started and finished another 12x12 layout. And I met my goal of using my neglected ZipeMate. I die cut balloons and letters for a name. I need to make myself use it more.
Also, my ds7 wanted to look through his pre-k & kindergarten album. It was so sweet. He was all, "Hey, I remember that!" 😁

It was from an older Pinkfresh collection called Life NotedI used that same paper a few years ago for my son in NYC! It is so perfect! Here's the layout. Son's long time friend is a N.Y. Times editor and he took him there.

crystalb, I'm still shopping. I did buy from a couple of stores last night, but I'm struggling to limit myself at the 3rd. AND I just found a D&D kit this morning to add to the cart. That's a for sure purchase. Also, my ds7 wanted to look through his pre-k & kindergarten album. It was so sweet. He was all, "Hey, I remember that!" 😁 That's so sweet! myboysnme, that paper works perfectly for a page about a NY Times editor. I love seeing the difference of use between you and msliz and both are fabulous. My goal was to knock at Easter 2018 & 2019, but I really need a break before I do any more event styled pages. So I'm not really sure what to do. I've got dh's icloud photos up but everything I wanted to use was 2second videos and not pictures - ugh!!! I may have to go grab a few stills for scrapbooking, but I always forget how and have to go find the tutorial. .... which is just a pain. grumble, grumble. Do you all have a plan for today? Tell me what you're working on and maybe it will inspire me.

Do you all have a plan for today? Tell me what you're working on and maybe it will inspire me. I set up the papers I’m thinking of for the last 4 full 8x8 pages in the travel album. So I’ve done 4 page kits ( well 3 1/2because one relates to another one & has most of same papers) I want to finish those full pages today. Then I have a whole bunch of 2x8 pockets to fill both vertical & horizontal. 15 horizontal ones & 12 vertical ones. Those pockets are the most daunting to me as this is my very first time combining regular pages & pocket pages. In fact it’s my first time pocket scrapping at all. But first I’m going to have lunch with my niece.

hop2, enjoy your lunch and visit. I struggled with pocket pages at first. I still think they are way more time consuming, but love that i can get more photos in that may support the story but don't need layouts dedicated to them.

I struggle with pockets. I might have the perfect vision for one side of the page, but then I'm unable to use the back. I prefer to just make a grid style layout that I can fit in a regular page protector sleeve. No worries about how to use the back side.
Well, I've eaten my breakfast so I guess I'm ready to get back to scrapping. I hope inspiration smacks me across the face this morning - I have 4 more NOLA pages to make. I made the "easy" ones first, and now I'm stuck with the rest for today, and there are multiple stories on each page. Wish me luck!

I was going to say, you don't need pocket pages with your collage styled prowess. Those pages rocked! Good luck with your harder NOLA pages. I think i'm going to document my digital scrapbooking hobby next. Who's up for sharing a photo of your work surface?

I did some damage at scrapbook . com this morning. They have new stamps from Ink Road Stamps. There is a Minecraft one called Game On
There is a Harry Potter one called Expecto Stampo
There are others too—I had to buy As You Wish which is Princess Bride quotes and Serenity Now which is Seinfeld references. My brother is a HUGE Seinfeld fan and my family celebrates Festivus every year. They have several others that are entertaining plus some that are dog related, cat related, and one about blended families/stepmoms. On sale plus another 10% off with the code NSD2019.

This is how I’m working right now. We haven’t purchased anything for the new house yet, so this folding table in the library is where my laptop is set up. Using a dining table chair. Have the ipad for watching shows. And a drink. No when I paper scrap, I usually stand. And there will be complete piles and messes everywhere.

ComplicatedLady , cleaning & organizing and 4 pages – well done! Do you have Photoshop Elements? There are tutorials for using it. But that’s what I use, so I can help with my limited knowledge if you need it. Thank you. I don’t have Photoshop Elements (at least not to my knowledge.) I’ll probably get it though. I’ve been looking at digital scrapping and what I need. I’m also looking at printing some of the items that I have in digital format but I haven’t done that yet either. Once I get everything else to a somewhat cleaned/organized state, I may be reaching out with questions!

ComplicatedLady I bought the HP stamp from InkRoad and already used it yesterday but my budget is busted so the Game On will have to wait! I have some similar game on things from an older Echo Park one so I will be ok. I just bought some Wizarding World cut files from The Cut shoppe for .50 so I am over the moon right now! Off to cut them out!

LisaDV here is half of my space right now. THe other half has my cutting/embossing and kit storage. But this is where the "magic" happens! LOL! The bar stool and white tray are just here for iNSD, as I finish a kit the remainders go in the tray. I have been pulling from there for other kits. It is working out wonderfully! 20190505_113858_HDR by Crystal B, on Flickr

Good morning! I slept in today. Too many drinks last night. Jeremy and I just sat outside having a cup of coffee. hop2 I told Jeremy about your challenge to figure out how to use my scan and cut. He said thank God someone challenged you to use it. It was the best Christmas gift I've ever given you and it's sitting collecting dust. He's slightly bitter about it...lol... I've been working in the dining room LisaDV. It's nice to work there when the kids aren't around because my table is a much bigger surface than my little desk in the living room. Plus, it's much nicer to listen to music while I work than the Nascar race that is going to be on today. There will be no adult drinks today as I had my fill last night. On the upside, my mom recently moved to my town. And she found a place downtown that distills their own spirits. We had some salted caramel bourbon last night and it was delicious. I'm going to have to get over there for drinks.

I think it is the angle I had. It really is not. It is less than 1/4 of the basement. It is like a cut out part of this strange shaped basement we have. Behind the desk is a Kallax with albums and all my paper, just enough space between the desk/kallax for the chair. It is just right for me lol!

Today it is pouring rain, so the kids are taking it easy, and I've been in & out of my scrap room all morning.
I currently have two 8.5x11 layouts on my desk that I'm working on simultaneously. Both school portraits. Very happy to say that I used a QK photo corner die on them. It's been years since I used it.

Congratulations hop2 !! Love your scrap spaces! This is just the corner area where I scrap. I definitely need to vacuum, think most of my fussy cutting scraps ended up on the floor 😬. I haven’t had time to scrap yet today. Ended up having to go to Walmart this morning, I haven’t recovered yet 🙄😂

crystalb , I’ve done the barstool and a tray thing when I’m really busy and to have more space to spread out. What a fun and wonderful spot to create at! I like the cart in the lower left corner too which comes in handy for those much used supplies. How are you doing today with the family in the basement with you? jeremysgirl , such a cute corner. I love the cut in space of the window. Did your DH make that table for you? My DH made counters for me when DD & I moved our craft areas together. He’s already said what he’d do differently if he did it again. I’m thinking he’ll do it again on a smaller scale for our craft area here at the new house, since it’ll be a shared space for guests too. LavenderLayoutLady , I hope the kids taking it easy doesn’t interrupt your craft time. Good job for using a QK’s die! dasmith2, YES, another standing scrapper!! I prefer to stand when I’m paper crafting. Actually after sitting the last 2 days for this crop, when I get a desk here it DEFINITELY will be one that is adjustable height so I can stand or sit. I had to grab a pillow to sit on yesterday. I like your flowers (were those from your wedding?) and the kids drawings. Whoever did the eye has some skills! And I spy that beautiful floral you showed off yesterday. Is that going on a page in progress? I’m loving seeing everyone’s spaces!! Especially since mine is boring. Makes me miss my paper and the farm craft room a bit though.

LisaDV my DH did put that desk together. I keep saying I'm going to skirt the table and he's going to make me another piece for the left side. I want to paint the old chair and recover it too. I'd like a cuter space especially since it's in my living room. hop2 I did it! I've got a title all cut! I'm going to take a quick shower and then get to work. I did get frustrated but I eventually figured it out.
