I like him better without the beard or with a shorter, better groomed one. The longer ratty looking one didn’t do anything for me. I agree- I don't like beards in general, anyway, but I got used to how he looked with the longer one. But I think this one was also for a tv show he starred in (Frontier). (I wish we got Netflix, so I could watch it; it looks like a pretty good show.) I do like beards, DH has had one for over 30 years and has only shaved it off 2-3 times. Whenever he’d shaved it I beg him to grow it back! |

I do like beards, DH has had one for over 30 years and has only shaved it off 2-3 times. Whenever he’d shaved it I beg him to grow it back! This is what he looks like with his beard: Your husband is very handsome, I agree he looks good with the beard, and he reminds me of an actor from maybe 20-30 years ago. I can't think of his name but he was in Star Trek (not the original) or Battlestar Galactica and probably a lot of other things. Oh holy heck, it's not coming to me. |

There are not a lot of people that I am jealous of, but Lisa Bonet is pretty high on that list. Hey, wanna hear a story that I remember from 30-ish years ago? Lisa Bonet was kicked off of the Cosby Show and its college days spin-off because she starred in a movie that Cosby didn't approve of. She didn't play a sweet, innocent young lady in the movie (I think it was Snatch?) and it was R-rated. She she wasn't good enough to remain on the show. Cosby didn't think her actions were appropriate enough. Cosby. I reserve to right to have mis-remembered all of this but I refuse to accept any correction because holding onto the indignation is fun for me.  ETA - mentioned this post to dh and he told me I was wrong on a few thousand levels. I couldn't ignore his correction. But I still despise Cosby so much that I wanna leave this here, lol. |

I was just coming here to post this video!!! I love him- I am so glad that Zee turned me on to his youtube channel... this man clearly takes SUCH JOY in just LIVING, it can't help but be infectious. While watching his video, it really did make me think- yeah, why not?!? I buy soda in cans all the time... I am totally going to look for water in cans. (and he looks totally HAWT either way, in my opinion- for me, it's his smile, and the fact that you can see his smile in his eyes- that transcends his facial hair.) How about using reusable water bottles? That would save even more energy and cut down on pollution, too. As to beard/no beard, both work for me! Marcy |

How about using reusable water bottles? That would save even more energy and cut down on pollution, too. well, yes, it would- but sometimes people can be out and about in the heat and they may not have a reusable water bottle with you... and they want a drink of water. Or you're somewhere in a place where they don't allow you to bring your own drink with you. So sometimes, you DO need to BUY water (bottled or otherwise). |

LOVING the replies !!! I also LOVE the Lisa Bonet comments----she IS one lucky gal, and she is so naturally pretty---I don't know if they have children, but if they do----they must be gorgeous! Also, I think she used to be married to Lenny Kravitz, who I find VERY hot, too! I also think I've seen piks of Lisa and Lenny's daughter (maybe?) and she is also naturally beautiful.
