Anyone hear her new song this morning.. I really like it... think it will be another big hit for her. I know a lot of people don't like her (as well as people that do..).. I personally like most of what she sings and good example for my girls... but talking about new songs.. that Jonas Brother's new song is catchy as well.. It think it is call Sucker or Sucker for you.. I don't know both songs are geared toward the younger crowd but this old lady is bouncing around.. hahaha

I just watched TS new video. I thought the song was okay. It might grow on me the more I hear it though. Her last few albums are ones that don't really get old or annoying to me.

I love the new song. Reputation was good, but not on par with the greatness of 1989. I'm hopeful that the TS7 era will take us back to that.

I usually like Taylor's music. It's catchy and makes you want to dance around. Plus she seems like a genuinely nice person.  |

I saw her with Robin Roberts on the NFL Draft last night and she said that she wanted this song to get stuck in your head with a good message. I thought that was a great way to describe it. I can't be mad at that!

I love Taylor's music but I miss her Country music. But I am very excited Rob Thomas's new album is out today Chipped Tooth Smile, I love his music his new single is One Less Day (Dying Young).

I love the new song. Reputation was good, but not on par with the greatness of 1989. I'm hopeful that the TS7 era will take us back to that. Yeah Reputation was good, there is no doubt, but of all her stuff probably my least favorite. Edited to add: I'm not one to watch music videos much anymore.. but I was curious... it was very artsy and very cool.. 2nd time I heard the song.. definitely say I am going to like it.. |

I really like it. I don't own any of her songs/albums, but I like her "sound". I have to say having Brendon Urie on the song is brilliant. I think he has a very, very good voice. I first heard him sing "Death of a Bachelor" several years ago and had no idea who he was. He can really sing. (Unlike so many of today's so called singers that sound really bad on a good sound system.) . The combination of the two of them makes a very catchy, cute tune. I think it will be a hit.
ETA: I was going to mention that I thought it was smart of her to get away from country-western. I never would of heard of her, but I despise country-western music with a passion.

Did anyone else think that Taylor looked like she was wearing a bathrobe last night? I'm not trying to tear her down but that dress was distracting.
And speaking of the draft- GO TIGERS- I'm now going to have to become a Raiders, Dolphins, and Giants fan! I loved every minute of it. And if you watched it on ESPN instead of ABC, you missed all of the fun!

It is explicit so I have only gotten to hear bits and pieces when I have been in the car without kids so far today. |

I listened this AM. I'm ehh on it. It sounds too...juvenile. Not adult. Vs her Reputation album was very adult. now she's back to childhood again? I did like the video and the snake turning in to butterflies. She has meaning in everything. I may grow to like it though.

I'll have to look for the video. We love Taylor Swift here but I prefer her music from the Speak Now and Red albums when she claimed it was country but it wasn't country at all (apparently none of the current country is truly "country" but that's a subject for another thread). I thought it sounded more like pop and it was catchy. Then she actually switched to pop on her 1989 album and i didn't like much from it.

I hadn't heard that song yet. Love brendon urie! I’m meh on Taylor Swift, but she does make some catchy songs. That video is fun!!! Love how bright and poppy it is. 😁
I would really like Taylor Swift to be done with the flipping snakes (and the West/Kardashian shit) now. I’m hoping that since that snake turned into a bunch of butterflies that means she’s done? And this is why I can’t get fully on board with her. Too much drama.
