#5 Digital Love | Make a digital or hybrid project to claim 1 point.
#6 May-be someday | Document your wishes and aspirations for a point (vision board, preparations for future travels, etc.) or use the word 'maybe' in the title for 1 point.
#7 Theme Park | 1 point for each project about an outing or stay at a theme park.

#8 Old Photos: Scrap your old photos - 1 point for photos that are 10+ years old, 2 points for 20+ years old, 3 points for 30+ years old etc.
#9 Generations of Love: Scrap a photo that has family members from different generations in it. Take 2 points for 2 generations, 3 points for 3 generations, 4 points for 4 generations and 5 points for 5 or more generations.
#10 Zodiac: The two zodiac signs associated with May are Taurus and Gemini. Taurus symbol = Bull, Gemini symbol = Twins. Include some kind of embellishment or photo or story that relates to either of these symbols on your card or layout. Bonus 5 points if your birthday is in May and you do a layout about your star sign and what it says about you.
#11 Birthstones - EMERALD: The birthstone for May is EMERALD. Use the colour green on your LO, either the photos, paper or background elements. Bonus point if your birthday is in May, and bonus 5 points if your LO is about YOU!
#12 Flowers: In honour of Mother's Day, use flowers on your card or LO, either patterned paper or embellishments. Bonus point if you use 5 or more flowers. Bonus point for each cluster of at least 3 flowers.

#13- Bash those Scraps- all paper must be scraps except the background #14-Alter It: Alter your embellishments (chipboard, wood veneer etc) for a completely different look!

#18 Other Crafts - This challenge is for sewing, knitting, or any other type of crafting, other than cards/layouts/PL. Are you working on school room decor, home decor, flower arrangements? This is the place to be. The points for this challenge are 1 hour of sew/craft time = 1 point Plus if you spend 1-3 hours on your project, take an extra 3 point for the finished item. If you spend 4-6 hours on your project, take an extra 6 points for the finished item. If you spend 7+ hours on your project, take an extra 10 points for the finished item. Give yourself an additional 2 point for working toward learning a new craft, new technique (can be scrapbook/card making related), etc. Motivation to learn new things is always good.
If you’re teaching someone crafty skills: Give yourself 1 point for each hour you spend teaching.
#19 Get Sketchy – Use any sketchy Saturday or Sketchtember sketch for inspiration. 1 point
#20 Pen & Ink: Get messy or maybe controlled - inks, paints, pens. Any mixed media or doodles count. 1point
#21 Stash Busting Challenge: Use 5 or more papers for 1 point Use 5 or more single type of embellishment for 1 point (like 5 hearts or 5 wood veneers, doesn’t have to be the same style or color) for 1 point Use 5 pieces of fasteners (can mix these as washi, buttons, photo turns, stitching, stick pins, etc) for 1 point Use 5 labels or tags, printed or unprinted for 1 point Make a cluster of at least 5 items for 1 point (mixed media can be a layer) If you do 2 of the above, give yourself an extra 2 points. If you do 3 of the above, give yourself an extra 3 points. If you do 4 of the above, give yourself an extra 4 points. If you do 5 of the above, give yourself an extra 5 points.
#22 Scrapbook your Hobby – scrapbook a hobby. If it has anything to do with paper, cardmaking, scrapbooking give yourself an extra point.

#23 Mix it up! Pull out those patterned papers and mix it up, they can be from the same collection, or multiple collections/manufacturers! 1 point for 2 different patterns, 2 points for 3 different patterns, 3 points for 5 different patterns (it is the fifth month!), and if you are really motivated 5 points for 7 or more patterns!
#24 Cardstock extravaganza! Being the fifth month lets go with 5 different colors/textures of cardstock for 2 points, but if you are more conservative make it at least three different colors for 1 point.
#25 Honor those who serve. To honor those who serve May is the month with a number of Memorial days, with the most significant on May 27th this year. Do a layout or create a card to honor those who have served in the military, as a Peace Officer, or as a Fire Fighter.
#26 Scraplift someone from our gallery! Go see some of the great images in the gallery and scraplift a layout or two. Double your points if it is a layout posted in 2019! Leave some love in the gallery while you are at it!
#27 Tie it up! Use ribbon, twine, craft thread, fiber, etc on your project. Bonus point if you tie a knot or bow.
#28 Stamp it down! Pull out your rubber stamps, ink them up and create something wonderful!

#29: Cinco de Mayo. Earn one point for each of the following: *Use the number 5 somewhere on your page or card *use at least one "southwestern" or South/central American element (think cactus, or geometric design, a pinjata or hey: a llama or alpaca!) *include 5 photos on your LO *use bright primary colours If you can do ALL of this, give yourself a BONUS of 5 points.

#30: Hearts, Stars, Arrows EXTRAVAGANZA: 1 point for using any of the listed, bonus 5 points if you use 6 or more of any one or a combination of any of the three (6 hearts, 6 stars, 6 arrows, 3 hearts/3stars, 3 arrows/3 hearts etc etc.)
#31: Teeny Tiny Sprinkle: Sprinkle little things within your creation, at least 3 little things. Anything under .25 inches count as a tiny. (goes to my love of 3mm bling!)
#32: Celebrate food: When I was looking through National Holidays and a lot of them had to do with food this month. In that regard lets see some creations about your favorite foods, dinners with those you love, creations with food icons, your dislike/quirks with food...really anything to do with food goes.
#33: Handwriting: Use your handwriting somewhere on your creation. More than 50 words gets your 1 bonus point. More than 100 words gets you 5 bonus point.
#34: Stripes, Dots and Bold oh my!: Use any of the listed patterns, get a point. Using 2 gets 2 points. Using all three gets you 5 points!
#35: Layers upon layers: Use at least 3 layers behind your photo(s).
#36: Single photo love: Give yourself a point for all those single photo pages!
#37: Double and more love: Give yourself a point for 2 photos and 2 points for any page with more than 2 photos. (Double it for double page creations)
#38: Edged and Distressed: any distressing/inking/punching/folding/etc works here. Just make them NOT FLAT and give yourself a point. If you do more than one different technique give yourself 2 points.
#39: Puffy Puff Puff: I love all things puff,to include enamel dots, stars, shapes, stickers etc. 1 point for every 3 puffy things you use.
#40: Use that washi: put it in strips, 1 point, die cut it 2 points, do something different 3 points.
#41: Selfie/Pelfie Love: Give yourself a point for ANY picture that you are in....by yourself, with your pet (pelfie!) or with others....just make sure YOU are in it!
#42: May 4th is "Free Comic Book Day": In honor of this day how about we make a layout about a "hero" in our lives. Or make a creation in "typical" comic book colors (primary)? Use speech bubbles. Use various "windows" like in a comic book or a comic book like font. ANY nod to comic books via fonts, colors, icons, pictures etc will work for 5 points!

#43 Workers' Day | May 1st is International Workers' Day and a public holiday in many countries around the world (except the USA and Canada). Document something related to the daily grind: your actual job, housework, volunteering, being a stay-at-home parent.
#44 Write It Out | Claim 1 point for at least 100 words of journaling. Give yourself a bonus point for over 150 words.

#45 - Thicker elements - use the sticker sets that are chipboard or foam that AREN'T ALPHABETS - such as: thickers words/titles; thickers embellishments; simple stories or echo park or crate paper chipboard stickers; etc.
#46 Descriptive titling - make a title that is at least 3 words. bonus point if it's 5 words or more.
#47. Christmas on repeat - scrap Christmas!
#48. carry-over - Use at least 2 of the leftovers from the page/project you just finished on your next page/project! EG scraps of pp, same splatters, same nuvos, same sticker sheet, same alphabet... This will be great for those completing the kit challenge!
#49. Stitched together - any type of stitching, machine, pen, die-cut, hand.

kitbop used #45 twice, so I'm starting off with #50. #50 - Four is fabulous! Use four photos on your layout, any size. #51 - School pictures! Scrap those 8x10 or 5x7 school photos. Bonus point if its the class photo with everyone in it!

For some of us the layout might be 15 - 20 years old! 5 bonus points if you create a new layout using the same photos. #64 Childhood Memories: Scrap a photo and/or a story about one of your favourite memories from your childhood. This could tie in well with my "Old Photos" challenge. #65 All That Glitters: Use glitter or gems on your card or layout.

But since the overall idea is to get us scrapping, I won't stop you from counting them
