I finished the two pager I had started yesterday. The second page was missing something, so I ended up just pulling a bunch of tags and stickers and small scraps from a ziplock I keep for this purpose. (I had already planned to use the big negative piece from cutting a circle for an earlier page) SK8 Lesson by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Points: two pages created and shared (4), #9 two generations on each (4), #13 scraps (2), #15 March photos (2), #16 skating bear dies (2), #17 PL cards (1), #20 mixed media skating rinks for the bears, plus inked edges (2), #23 three + papers per page (4), #27 twine (1), #28 stamping (2), #30 hearts and stars (1), #33 handwriting (1), #34 stripes and dots (4), #35 layers (1), #36 single photo (1), #37 two plus photos (1), #38 distressing (1), #50 four photos (1), #60 square pages (2), rectangular photos (2), big circle (1), #61 wooden stars (1), #66 stamped bears (2). Thank you grammadee - I think that was a MAMBI paper. Love your 2-pager - the circles are great and so are the colours! "Sandhill Crane" (8.5x11) = 1(layout) + 1 (sharing) + 1 (#11 green) + 1 (#13 scraps) + 2 (#15 Apr 2019 pics) + 2 (cut file crane and title) + 1 (#24 4x brown cardstock) + 1 (#35 layers) + 1 #36 single photo) + 2 (#60 rectangle/circle) + 1 (#66 crane) = 14pts

Love that sand hill crane, Linda! Did you cut that yourself? Looks great in kraft against the green background, and I like the strips of cs in the different shades of brown.

grammadee -thank you - I found an image online and cut it with the Cricut The silver never scans as silver but it's a pretty effect anyway. The journalling is straight from DD19's text message with the photo. "moon" (8.5x11) = 1(layout) + 1 (sharing) + 1 (#13 scraps) + 2 (#15 Apr 2019 pics) + 1 (cut file stars) + 1 (#17 PL card) + 1 (#24 3x purple) + 1 (#30 stars) + 1 (#36 single photo) = 10pts

journalling again comes from text messages "Happy?" (8.5x11) = 1(layout) + 1 (sharing) + 1 (#13 scraps) + 2 (#15 Apr 2019 pics) + 1 (cut file title) + 1 (#30 heart) + 1 (#36 single photo) + 1 (#60 rectangle) =9pts

So cool that your dd sends you photos and text messages that explain them, Linda! I love her comment on the moon photo, and that pp is PERFECT for this page. Love the blue and yellow that indicate the mood swings on "Happy?" Learning to adult is hard. It is good she has you to bounce her struggles off of.

another one where most of the journalling comes from text messages - Adulting really is hard sometimes "Can Opener" (8.5x11) = 1(layout) + 1 (sharing) + 1 (#12 flowered PP) + 2 (#15 April 2019 pics) + 1 (#16 cut file can opener) + 1 (#24 grey/white/blue cardstock) + 1 (#31 food) + 2 (#37 3 photos) + 1 (#60 rectangle) = 11pts

Today's sketchy Saturday sketch - simplified a bit and only one page "Spring" (8.5x11) = 1(layout) + 1 (sharing) + 1 (#11 green) + 1 (#12 flowers) + 2 (#15 April 2019 pics) + 1 (#21 5 labels/tags) + 1 (#24 pink/green/white cardstock) + 1 (#35 layers) + 1 (#36 single photo) + 2 (#60 rectangle/circle) = 12pts

working on DD12's Girl Scout album now so switching to 8x8 pages...mostly photos and very little embellishing. But I did use an OLD Mrs. Grossman's sticker on this one. "CSX" (2pg 8x8) = 2(layout) + 2(sharing) + 1 (#13 scraps) + 1 (#15 2019 pics) + 1 (#16 alpha dies) + 1 (#24 blue/yellow/white cardstock) + 3 (#37 2 photos pg 1,3 photos pg 2) + 2 (#60 rectangles/squares) + 1 (May stash - non-dimensional title) = 13pts

Linda , you are so fortunate to have a daughter who sends you college photos and explanations to go with them. You are doing a beautiful job of preserving them for her. Your cards are really pretty. I love using up scraps in cards and you have done a lovely job. I love the soft colors and print on your Mother’s Day card.~ I love the silhouette of the Sand Crane on your page. That’s a rich and pretty background paper. craftymom101 , I love your pages with the cute little boys. Your papers and designs are so pretty. I love the black and white photo and the colored together on your So Rad page. The photos of your little one painting are perfect. I love the spatters on the page too. I love, love, love the page of the Fearless boys. Beautifully scrapped. ~ Both of your Mother’s Day cards are lovely. I know they will be appreciated. teacherlisa , you are doing a great job on your pocket pages. I really want to learn to do that. Have you been doing them long? I think I could accomplish more if I learned. grammadee , LisaDV , AussieMeg , justjac , angel97701 , kitbop , and 2marbles, I have left love in the gallery.

This page gave me fits! I’m usually a pretty fast scrapper but this page took me forever! I am pleased with how it turned out. My son LOVES all things animals and I know he will like the animal with party hats stickers on his birthday page.

Ha ha, Linda: those spagettio's were a LOT of work! Love the sketched can opener on your page. Love the soft pinks and blues and greens on Spring: you matched her shirt perfectly! Congrats to your dd for being on the Dean's List! Love the formal look to this page, in keeping with its serious topic. Love that train sticker & how cool is that to operate a drone AND a train simulator?!? Congrats on giving your Cricut a workout! Love that little bridge! teacherlisa, your All you need is LESS page is awesome! Love the hearts and stars that give it dimension, but the photos and journaling are a lovely reflection on life's goals. Love that you included the encouraging words from your coworker for even more inspiration. Love your reflections on the second page, too: too often we worry about stuff that really is not that important and forget to focus on the big stuff. I love that you commented on your shift in focus on that photo. That page may have been a pain to create, craftymom101, but it is GORGEOUS! Love the fireworks background, the silvery highlights, those cute little birthday hatted critters, all the fun elements exploding out of the photo block! The whole page is a celebration!

Hey y'all, I have a funny story.... I've been feeling really guilty about being so slack about commenting on everyone's amazing layouts. I tend mainly to comment only on the LOs that are in the Flickr gallery rather than just posted on this thread. Then last night I had a dream - Someone asked grammadee to make a new rule that we are not allowed to make comments anymore because not everyone is pulling their weight and some people are missing out on comments. I will have to try a bit harder I think.

Then I come to the share thread and sketch and monthly challenge threads and try to leave love for everyone else.lots to look at. Easy to get behind. On a busy weekend like last week, I was feeling like an undergraduate with a paper past due!
