My bf is off early today but right now, we're just relaxing at home. Might run errands a bit later. Our local Targets don't carry any fresh meat/produce and one doesn't have any refrigerated/freezer food options so we're going to a different one a bit farther out. He says it's because of competition with local grocery stores but I had that in San Diego and it's pretty inconvenient to have to make two stops when trying to get fresh meat/produce.
Anyway, not sure what we are doing tomorrow except hosting a bowling Meetup event tomorrow night.
On Sunday, I might go the Pittsburgh Marathon expo just to see if they have good deals on exercise/health products. That afternoon, I am hosting a Coffee Meetup event while he works.
What are you up to?

Tonight I am playing Bunco.
Sometime over the weekend DH & I are going to BJs for a few things and possibly a movie. I'd also like to check out some challenges and such for International Scrapbooking day.

It's a very busy weekend and very different!
Starting off tomorrow morning is Friends and Family Day at the prison I work at. It's a chance (and usually the only chance that your family and/or friends) can see where you work and see how the system works. Last year I only brought my 10 year old.. everyone else was busy.. this year I have about 12 going!! It's a good chance for families who have questions about their loved ones to actually 'see' where they work. The highlight (last year) some of the female offenders in the K-9 unit were able to meet with us and the dogs. That was a huge hit. They have a dog training program that either you can adopt a dog or you can have your own dog trained here. It's a successful program. And I get to pet dogs while out and about if I am in the yard.. downfall is you want to adopt them all.. lol.. This starts the week of Employee Appreciation Week.. so there is BBQ, sack lunches, ice cream, brown sack lunches.. all week long.
NEXT on the agenda is off to the Denver Art Museum with the same group of friends. That will probably take the rest of the day...
Sunday, we are celebrating my 10 year old's birthday with her BFF and sisters.. I am taking all the girls to Casa Bonita's..(requested by DD)..
Sunday night.. NOTHING but me and Gilmore Girls. PHEW.. and I need to clean house, laundry and get birthday presents.

SO's bday is Monday and his bff's bday is the following week, so we are all going down to the beach for the weekend to celebrate. The weather is supposed to be crappy tonight, so I think we are staying in and playing CAH. Hopefully we'll get fairly decent weather tomorrow and Sunday. I got the absolutely worst tan lines last weekend from being on my bike, and I need to do something to fix them. I normally avoid the sun, but the situation is serious LOL!

How fun that you have so many family/friends attending the day with you, workingclassdog. Right now I'm waiting for our annual termite inspection. We know we have them in our balcony but haven't seen any evidence of them in the house. DH wants to tent anyway and I'm not sure it will be covered for an external structure. Tomorrow, DH and I are heading to a 50th birthday pool party in Beverly Hills. The big debate is whether we drive up with another couple or take our own car. If we do drive, I'm working on him to stay the night. Sunday will be a relax around the house day, maybe go for a beach walk, and then dinner out to celebrate DD's birthday earlier this week.

Thanks!! A party in Beverly Hills.. sounds very posh!!! LOL Years ago when I lived in LA, as a very poor airline employee our neighbor was a bodyguard and invited us to a party in Beverly Hills at some rich French guy's house. We were really nervous (all we could picture was drugs, sex and booze..HA).. but we decided to take a chance.. It was probably the most memorable night of our lives.. besides the COOL house, we met and talked to several celebrities who were very nice to us Midwestern girls in prairie skirts.. hahaha (think 80s)

Tonight I'm watching dd play tennis, but after that, as little as possible. I've been writing so many college papers lately that it's nice to have a "free" weekend. So, that means, laundry, dishes, and vacuuming.

Some friends of my daughter are coming over so I can hem/alter some bridesmaids dresses. Then I have sew up 25 more “babies” for a ministry at my church. They give to Social Services to give to children just entering the foster system. Then helping dh build a retaining wall. I probably won’t be much help but I can put a tourniquet on his arm when he cuts off his arm using the chain saw! Janet

I went to a cancert last night and today was move out day for the summer on campus so I've been hauling boxes. I've got an hour to get ready and then I work tonight. PJ party for 20! Tomorrow morning were having a yard sale and then going kayaking or rappelling depending on the weather and then Sunday were hanging a lighting fixture and then throwing a "Cinco de drinko" porch party for the neighbors. Taco bar and margaritas for all!

Saturday I plan to sleep. As long as I can. And then I’m meeting a friend for coffee. She has serious mental health issues so it’s always a bit stressful (she is extremely paranoid). I always get very detailed instructions on where I have to pick her up, but she insists I can’t tell anyone else. And then she usually changes the details at the last minute, in order to outfox her neighbour, whom she is convinced is monitoring her every action. It’s really sad. Sunday I’m training at my voluntary job. We have 12 new recruits, and they receive 30 hours of training before being allowed to answer the phones. Lots of role playing, which I really throw myself into. Afterwards my shift partner and I are going to Five Guys. He’s never been before, so I can’t wait to introduce him to their wonders.

Working. I had Monday off and now have to work everyday until next Friday. Although I may take Wednesday off as a CTO day just to break it up a bit and to use up a CTO day. I am almost at my cap and will not accumulate CTO hours if I hit my max. That makes me sad when it happens, so I try to pay attention. Tomorrow is Green Up day in Vermont, so I will do some roadside trash pickup. Tomorrow is also a Shredfest day at my credit union, so I will take in a bunch of papers to be destroyed. I will have to miss a Kentucky Derby party because of work but will stop by my friend's at some point to make my bets. Sunday - probably just some house chores and work. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

DS and I are helping DD and DSIL move in between the rain tomorrow (may start tonight, haven't heard yet - the helping moving, that is). BFF's family reunion is at her DB's either tomorrow or Sunday (she didn't tell me which) and I'm invited - hoping it's Sunday because tomorrow is going to be busy/wet. Friend/coworker invited me to the island to go to another watch party for Big Texas Fix (this time at Galveston Island Brewing) but that looks like it'll have to be a hard pass.
I would much rather stay inside in the AC and nurse my sinuses/allergies by binging on TV viewing, but that's not going to happen.

Let's see....tonight I am home. In fact, its almost 7pm and I am in my pajamas, make up off, and just waiting on DH to bring sushi home. Going to make me a cocktail and then call it a night.
Tomorrow, we are going to Lubbock to see my oldest. He turns 20 on Tuesday but because of finals, we are celebrating tomorrow. In Lubbock we are having Mexican food and red velvet cake (DS1 favorites). Probably some shopping as well. DS1 is staying in Lubbock this summer so we are bringing back some of his stuff that he won't need til Fall.
Sunday we will go to church, then home to plant my window boxes. I spent way too much today on plants and need to get them in the boxes and into the ground ASAP. Then Sunday night is tacos and Margartias for Cinco De Mayo.

Not much tonight.
Tomorrow I am going to be doing some work around the house and I’d like to get a little meal prep done.
Sunday I am getting margaritas with my best friend and getting ready to start a new job Monday!

Grocery shopping, listing Ebay auctions, cleaning out a closet. And between those things, taking it easy. Weather is supposed to be nasty tomorrow morning for sure, so probably no outdoor activities. DH would like to go to the golf course at some point, but the weather might not cooperate.

Tomorrow DH and I are running some errands. DD and the grandpup will be over in the afternoon. I’m going to spend some time trying out some recipes for DH’s breakfast and lunch, then we are going to the late showing of Avengers.
Sunday will be meal prepping for the week and maybe getting some plants potted up.

Today we spent the morning emptying DH's wardrobe and taking full bags to Savers for recycling. Felt good getting rid of some stuff that had been hanging in there for far too many years!
Tomorrow is our SIL's birthday and we will be having dinner at home for him and the family to celebrate. So the day will be spent getting organised for that.
