For me, it's Pilates. I'm obsessed. I have worked out regularly for a few years and I love lifting weights. Recently, I've been wanting something so supplement my normal gym work, with some extra focus on my core and mobility. Yoga has never been my thing, and when I've done (mat) Pilates before, I felt like I needed better coaching to get the most out of it. A friend suggested a Reformer-based Pilates studio she goes to and loves, I decided to give it a shot and I loved it from my first class. In just a couple weeks, I can totally feel significant improvements in my mobility/range of motion - both when lifting and in daily life. And I can feel my core strength beginning to improve as well.
Anyway, I'm absolutely loving it and I also love the feeling of finding something new that I'm really excited about.
What's your latest new love?

Avacado and tomatoes on a toasted bagel thin, with a sprinkle of Trader Joes Everything But the Bagel blend. Holy hell it is good. And totally basic lol Discovered it last week when I had an avacado that was going to go bad. Brought it to work with a tomato for lunch. Delicious! Also, Trader Joes Coconut Strips. Amazing. You have your pilates, I have food.

I am loving having the opportunity to explore my new city of Pittsburgh. I’m getting a little restless and missing my kids but overall, it has been great during the winter to go out and explore and just walk around and get my bearings. I am looking for a job and hope to find one soon.

Not new but seasonal... the strawberry salad is back at Panera and I think about it every day. It is like eating candy. I also have found that their Mac and cheese with salsa on top is delicious!

We have taken in some parcels for our newish neighbours, one parcel has been in the hall for few days as they have been away.
Came home to find they had dropped in a bottle of champagne and a box of French biscuits as a thank you when they collected the latest parcel. DH tried to say it wasn't necessary but they wanted to say thank you. Really unexpected and a lovely treat.

Old favorite: Raising Cane's chicken fingers. Not feeling 100% lately, allergy season headache (in my eyes/sinus pressure). Have stopped by Cane's twice in the last couple weeks. Just felt like treating myself to dinner, via the drive thru/take home.
Haven't really tried anything new lately, so no "new favorites".

This outfit. I got it in green but it is the most comfortable thing I've ever worn and I've gotten a ton of compliments today. I saw it on a girl at a concert last week and went to buy it the next day. I want 6 more so I never have to wear real pants.

I was going to say spring, too. That winter just about destroyed me with the snow that wouldn’t quit and the ex that wouldn’t leave...
And now it’s all warm and sunshine and blossoms everywhere. Everything smells amazing. I just sit in the sun and breathe it all in. It feels like I have started a new life. It’s friggin’ awesome.

For me it is brightly colored pots on the patio.
I've been collecting pots for a couple months and finally planted them all at the end of April. Then I stopped at HomeGoods last week and bought a couple more. I'm obsessed with brightly colored pots.

Mines the antithesis of yours. I am loving a new series on Netflix called "Dead to Me." I keep waiting for someone to start a thread about it, but apparently I'm the only one here who's discovered it Oh and I'm also loving the weather lately as well. Gorgeous walk along Alki Beach this morning with harbor seals frolicking just off shore and eagles teaching their fledglings vs to fly. If you're visiting Seattle in the next week, you're in for a springtime treat!I ETA: looks like everyone else is happy that spring has sprung too!

Hiking in all the green and wildflowers. It’s amazing out.
Desperately trying to plan quick trip to Yosemite to see the spring waterfalls but everything is booked up so I am stalking for last minute cancellation lbs...

Tennis.
I played league tennis years ago when my oldest was just a toddler. I ended up on a team of women I didn’t enjoy very much and then I had a miscarriage, so I put down my racquet and never looked back. My 13 year old started playing last year, and I realized how much I missed it and wanted to be able to play with her. I started taking a clinic at a local club a few months ago and I’m in love with tennis again. The club pro has been a fantastic teacher, it’s an incredible stress reliever, and I’ve met some really nice ladies. I don’t know if I’ll do league tennis anytime soon, but it’s so much fun to get out there and play a match with my daughter. I even find myself grabbing a hopper of balls and just going to the courts to work on my serve.
