Loving the Heidi Swapp collection! Its tempting to grab that and use that for my Dec Daily! I don't do any Christmas scrapbooking except my DD so really I don't need anything. I'm really looking forward to the FJ offering this year because I like it way more than Ali's colors and designs. Plus I found that AE didn't have enough cards/supplies for what I needed and really the price. For around the same price FJ had a ton more.

Like it's in my cart and i'm almost ready to buy it. Colors are so beautiful! I haven't like the last two years of AE DD kits. And i feel the same about FJ, I used her kit last year. |

Heads up: my Merry Little Christmas (Pebbles) phrase and word puffy Thickers came with some gold foil chipped off on a few letters/shapes. Please check yours if you're buying to ask for a replacement if necessary.
Also, it looks like the Crate Paper Christmas collections are being shipped to retailers. A European vendor showed boxes of American Crafts stuff arriving at their warehouse today and hashtagged it Crate Paper and Pink Paislee. Since that vendor has Heritage in stock already, I'm guessing it's the Christmas line we've all been waiting for. Let the countdown begin!

Wondering why the AC designers (Amy, Shimelle, Lizzy, etc.) don't do Christmas collections? At one time Shimelle said that they pick one of their designers to do a holiday collection each year, and she said something like that it would be a very long time before she got to do one again, which I took to mean that there are AC warehouses full of her last Christmas collection. You'd think that fans of each of these designers would love to pick up a holiday themed (mini?) collection every year though... but I don't know how AC makes the decisions they make... there are probably Important Reasons we don't understand. |
