We redid our bathrooom to put in a therapy tub for my DH. I love teal, and seeing Gennifer's boldness with her use of teal inspired me to just go for it. I originally planned to just do the niche in teal and then I thought, why am I limiting something I enjoy so much to such a small area. We inverted our plan and I couldn't be more pleased. It's also the first time in our marriage that we've a shower head tall enough for us! We’re both over 6 foot tall. The ceiling was previously a foot shorter. The shower head came out of the wall and was on an S mount, but still not tall enough for us to get under so it was out at an angle and hit us at the nape of the neck. The shower door is bifold! We didn't want a traditional door because the frame would go all the way across and then be in the way of where you rest your arms when in the tub. I did't want just a partition either because then you'd have to get all the way in just to turn the water on. So the bifold is available when taking a shower, and it swings all the way out of the shower to get out, but also folds in on itself and tucks in, so then you can still enjoy a bath without feeling closed in.     The teal vanity I posted previously arrived and was navy so we sent it back and just went with white but I'm tickled pink with how it all came out. TFL! |

Beautiful! Did you do the work yourselves? No, we had a handyman do it. With his injury (that necessitated the tub), my hubby can’t. I don’t know how, nor really could I have with the kiddos under foot. |

I love it! That glass tile is really cool,too. I haven’t seen a door like that before but it’s a really clever idea for when you’re using the tub. Very nice! I can understand why you’re so pleased with it.

It looks great and even more importantly... it makes you happy. I particularly love a rainhead shower like that. How nice to have something like that so you smile every time you use it.

That’s beautiful. I love teal too! I didn’t even know bi fold shower doors were a thing.
I just bought a house yesterday and it needs a lot of remodeling to make it work for us. I might be asking for your advice in the future as you’ve done such a great job with all your flipped houses:)

Wow! What a statement and I am with you... it looks AMAZING. I don’t know if I would have picked it (I am not confident with interior decorating) but I totally love how your bathroom turned out! You might inspire me to make some bolder choices in the future.

Wow, absolutely LOVE it! Love that bifold door. I have never seen that. Too cool. We don't have a door on our shower. Freaked me out at first but now I love NOT having one.  Enjoy. It really is beautiful. |
