Do you mean Pennsylvania Avenue - aka The White House & Trump - or is there another nightmare I should be aware of? I purposely said Street, like Nightmare on Elm Street. Okay. Sorry! I thought you referring to something that happened in PA or something else that I missed. Since, as much as I despise Trump with every fiber of my body, I never think of the White House address as being anything other than on Pennsylvania Avenue. Trump will end up being a small blip on the timeline of the impressive and ethical people who have and will inhabit 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Since about 75% of my wardrobe is red or blue, odds are good that I'll be in at least one of the three colors.

Well because I love a poll, I just had to answer. Obviously my poll choice was "I'm not American". Thanks for including me in your poll! If I was American, or if we had a day here that we could be proud of, I would most likely wear red white and blue, or green and gold. I just posted a layout I did of my kids from Australia Day (aka Invasion Day) back in 2010, and they are both wearing hats with the Australian flag. I am not going to show my daughter the LO, she would not be happy to see her 12yo self celebrating Invasion Day! Is Anzac Day the same as Australia Day? No. Australia Day commemorates the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788. It's a contentious issue because it represents the murder of so many of our Indigenous people by the whites who arrived on the First Fleet (hence Invasion Day). Anzac Day commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders who have served and died in all wars. It's held on the anniversary of the landing of ANZAC troops in Gallipoli in WW1. In my house we gladly observe and participate in Anzac Day proceedings, but not Australia Day.

I realized after I asked that I could have just googled, so I appreciate you taking time.

Until maybe 5 years ago, DH, the kids, and I would sport our Old Navy flag shirts, bought new each year. But now we don’t dress for July 4, or Christmas, or Valentines Day. We are rebels that way! 😂

I checked all three, but I don’t *always* wear all three every year. If I have something that will work and is clean, I will wear that combo otherwise I’ll wear whatever combo I’ve got. There’s a big festival over the weekend of the 4th at our cabin and the local shops all sell festival t-shirts that benefit the chamber of commerce which pays for the big fireworks display in town, so we buy them. Usually the shirts are red or blue and have a patriotic festival design on them and we all have several of them.

I’m wearing a white tank top with blue stars on it but I’m not planning to go anywhere today so it really doesn’t matter. I do plan to take pictures of my granddaughter wearing a blue top with “brave” on it while holding a flag.

Probably not. We’re going to a concert at a brewery and it’s going to be outdoors, and the only remotely patriotic tee I have is too warm. I might do a white tank, blue denim shorts and my red Superga shoes if I’m feeing like it.
We don’t decorate for any holiday except Christmas these days (and honestly I’d be fine with minimizing decorations for that). I’m just not feelings seasonal decorations these past few years.

Potato salad, coleslaw, and brownies done. Just macaroni salad left to go. We decided to go to a u-pick farm tomorrow and pick donut peaches during the day! Donut peaches?! Sounds cool. It’s strawberry picking time around here but I’ve been too lazy and then it gets too hot.

I hate to be a Debbie Downer - but, very sadly, because of the nightmare on Pennsylvania Street, I’m really not feeling very patriotic right now. I’m in DC right now and I can tell you that’s not the attitude at all. People feel more patriotic because they want to claim back their country from those giant ass tanks I can’t figure out what he’s going to do with them... Don’t let him get to you!

I will wear white shorts, a blue shirt and a light weight flag scarf. I don’t usually do flag stuff but I found the scarf and liked it and it was only $3, so why not!
Everyone have a fun day!!

Last year I ate two hot dogs and took a nap and read books. I'll probably do the same this year.
Not sure what I'll wear...lol

It’s strawberry picking time around here but I’ve been too lazy and then it gets too hot. Strawberry u-pick season was literally only 2 weeks out here this year due to the weather. We weren’t able to get out to pick them while they were available this year. I miss the longer strawberry seasons in Monterey, CA and Eugene, OR.

I don't own a single piece of holiday clothing - for any holiday. I did many years ago (thanks 90's - we were all fashion challenged then). I also don't own any clothing with a team name. My four boys all played numerous sports for the same high school and I never wore a school t-shirt/sweatshirt. Theme clothing of any sort just isn't my thing.

I try to get at least two colours in. I like 4th of July, as it's my anniversary. 25 years today!

We go kayaking every year on the 4th. My board shorts are navy with a red and white strip somewhere on them (I can't picture them right now!) but I'm going to wear something else. I feel like rebeling this year.

It is not our family custom to dress for the holidays. No RWB for the 4th, no Christmas sweaters etc. just not our thing.
I’m wearing gym leggings and a Save Ferris t-shirt and tennis shoes to keep my feet comfy while I cook.

We just got back from peach picking an hour outside of town! Most of the families out picking were wearing their red, white and blue. I have a 3 hour long playlist of patriotic music - Sousa marches, military branch theme songs, Aaron Copeland, etc. - and it was the perfect length for driving out and back. Have 12 pounds of peaches, a container of fresh blueberries and a homemade blackberry pie.
It is hot and humid as Hades out there! While I enjoyed fruit picking, I’m now quite happy to be on the couch watching the Nats play the Marlins. The stands appear to be almost empty - I don’t think anyone wants to sit outside in this today.

My answer isn’t there- it depends. It depends on what I’m doing and if I have something that is the colors that I would want to wear to said event/activity. I’d usually just wear jeans and a shirt of one of the colors probably. Same here. I don’t not, but I don’t do it specifically. I just dress as I usually do I’m not much of a theme or holiday dresser.

I do. I generally have patriotic nail art and wear red, white and blue jewelry. I'll coordinate all of that with solids in red or blue in the work days leading up to the 4th.
