Thanks, Cindy. I don't have a blog so will have to post them from Photobucket.
Pat, I should have remembered that your grands are the same age as my redheaded grands. Your DGDs are beautiful girls.
Hey, Corinne and Pat. I want one of those refugee badges too!!

Good morning! Good to see that this thread is still rolling along! I love this refupea badge How cute is that! The grands will be here shortly so a quick note. I have a paper project for Maggie & I to do today-we are making little covers to put over the white Christmas lights to hang up for the 4th. We are going to hang them on the patio for Thursday night to watch the fireworks nearby golf course! I will post a pic of them when we finish them You make them from the cardboard roll in side paper towels. Cut them in 2 inch lengths and cover them with cute paper or ribbon. Then use chipboard disk to fit the top and cover with paper cut a small x in it to put the light fixture thru. they are cute! BBL!

Good morning girls, so glad to see so many of us found our way, and I see we even picked up a couple of newbies along the way I'm Sarah, I'm a British gal currently living in NE Florida. My DH is UK military, and is working with the US Navy. We have been here 2 years, and are due to go home March 2016, but like all things military, this is subject to change We have 2 kids - DD is 15, DS is 12. I have been extremely Pokey just lately. I did do some scrapping earlier on in the year, and I even got a layout published in Scrapbook Generation's online magazine, but I seem to have ground to a halt again. We had a ton of visitors this spring, which probably disrupted my creative flow But I haven't been totally uncreative - I have made 3 baby quilts this year, I have another top finished and ready for sandwiching and quilting, and another planned... All my friends seem to be reproducing!!! The bonus is, I get lots and lots of baby cuddles. And a peek into the future, as to what being Grandma will be like I have also been rediscovering activities that I used to do way back, before marriage and kids came along. DD is part of her HS chorus, and I have been very active helping them out, chaperoning and helping out their director, this year. He is an amazing teacher, and very inspirational when it comes to music and choral singing. I used to sing in choirs when I was DD's age, and with moving so much with DH over the years, I never really had a chance to keep it up. I met another parent on a trip, and she invited me to join the Chancel Choir at her church, which happens to be the same denomination as I grew up in, so I felt comfortable right from the start. Through DDs chorus teacher, I applied to a local choral group, and I will audition for that in August Unfortunately, the teacher left the High School at the end of term to move to a school in Orlando - the kids were devastated But I keep in touch with him via email and FaceBook, he has become a really good friend. I have received some bad news over the past week, regarding my Dad's health. He was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last week. He has limited strength in his arms, and virtually no strength in his hands, but currently he is still mobile as his legs aren't that badly affected just now. He will see a MND nurse soon, who will be able to help them apply for benefits and any help that is available to them. I am planning on flying home at some point, but want to see how quickly things are happening first. I am seeing changes over a matter of weeks, just via Skype conversations - it's so sad to see him slowly decline. I am glad they managed to visit us in March, and Dad got to see DD sing in her choir - my parents met in a choir, and singing has always been a fundamental part of his life. Any prayers and good thoughts are most appreciated as they navigate these changes x

Hi Sarah. I will keep your dad in my thoughts & prayers. My Gd is in chorus & band at her school, she really loves it. They are at camp right now & she came in 2nd in the singing section of their talent show. Pam The girls haven't done gymnastics for a few years now. They have been busy with other sports, basketball, lacrosse, cheerleading & softball. They keep us very busy!! But I love it every minuet of it.

Hi guys! Nice to see you made it Missy.
Pam, your pages are gorgeous. I can't believe what YOU can do with a photo and the computer! When I grow up I want to learn to do that!
The gang all went swimming for the afternoon and left the baby with me. He just went to sleep so I have about an hour to do a bunch of stuff.
Pat, how fun to have a new grandson. We inherited 2 grands when DS remarried, and we are so glad to have them part of the family! But that was 10 years ago...can't believe it's been that long.
Cindy, you know me, computer challenged. I have uploaded the new badge to Photobucket and tried copying each of the links, but they will only paste as far as the word Refu and that's all. So I copied it, posted it on a document, and it posts the entire URL address. I copied that and tried posting it again, and got the same thing...Refu. I think my signature is just too big now for it to fit the allowed signature space. Anyway, I'm giving up 'cause I'm tired of trying.
Looking thru my 2peas layouts makes me really want to scrap. But it will have to wait another week. We are having fun with all the kids, and the scrapbook room looks like it was hit with an explosion. Tomorrow is our sleepover (or non) sleepover. Then we are all going to oldest DD's for a big barbecue. No big plans after that, so we can just visit and enjoy the family.
So great to see you all.

Hey all! It is a nice warm day here. So good to see some new faces here, too. Welcome!
Recently, I started drawing and painting on some old paper I had. It has been so fun to use this very large size. I can't wait to share with you what I have been doing. Soon! Also, I would like to get some scrappin done but need some new pics.
Pam- You recent layouts are fantastic. I like the porch life pic. I could imagine us sipping some lemonade and relaxing there.
Waving hi to you all and have a good day.

Hey Pat! I had not noticed that and have not seen it. Ours are still .com's Those lights I made are cute but they are harder to make then they look! The hardest part is the top where the light is put thru! I will post a pic of them tomorrow. I helped Bobby put together one of his star wars lego sets. My brain is dead.

Hello, everyone! I hope you don't mind if I tag along. I met Nylene on the Stashbusters Challenge thread at 2Peas, and she kindly invited me to drop in on y'all. I definitely qualify as a slow scrapper as I am so inconsistent in my scrapping. Some months are better than others. My name is Shirley and I live in south Louisiana. My DH and I have been married for 20 years and together we have six children, 16 grandchildren and stepgrandchildren (with a new addition due next February), and one great grandchild. Like Nylene, there's never a dull moment around our house but I can't complain -- it's scrapbook material. We used to travel a lot, but haven't much lately. But again, that's okay since I have so many trips I have yet to scrap. I was a geologist, but I stepped out of the workforce over 10 years ago when my husband and I decided I needed to stay home and homeschool our youngest son through high school. I later homeschooled our oldest grandson in high school as well. It was a wonderful experience! That's about me in a nutshell. I look forward to getting to know you all and admiring your creations.

Good Thursday morning! Welcome Shirley! Pam, your pages are fantastic!
Any plans for the coming weekend?
It sounds like we may go see a movie tonight; relax tomorrow (maybe fireworks); I work Saturday and Sunday. So nothing too exciting for me.
I am on a little scrapping hiatus right now while I start a quilt project I have had stashed away for about 5 years.
Have a great Thursday!

Good morning Peas! Hope all is well with everyone! Welcome Shirley nice meeting you! So glad you decided to join us! Have the kids again today! Not sure what we will get into! LOL Pat-I tried googling why that is happening with the blog url's to no real straight answer. They did add it url's a couple of years ago for location but supposedly they wrote it as blogspot.com.ca I could not find anything for why you are seeing ti now. When I go to your blog I see blogspot.com. Hopefully I will find sometime to scrap this weekend BTW anyone have any good camera tips for photographing the fireworks? ? I think I will stop by Capture 365 today and see if they have any tips.
