It is a hot day here and we are relaxing. Today is pancake Saturday and now that I have had blueberry pancakes that is they way I must have them for at least a while. Boy, soooo yummy! I plan to do some more painting and even practice my guitar today.
Glad you liked my recent paintings. I should call it the "Hair Collection." I just love painting hair because I can just go wild.
Last night we went to park on our main street here so we could see the fireworks from the high school. I just had no idea where we parked would put us front and center. They were so close and fantastic. We had the best seat (car seat lol) in the street. But as good as it was if felt at little like we were sitting on the 3rd row at the movies- a little too close. lol!
I see you ladies are scrappin away. Awesome!

Hello all! Kelly glad you got to enjoy the fireworks. You made me hungry mentioning those pancakes... Cindy,those are great photos! Was it held near you? I enjoyed 5,yes 5 simultaneous fireworks from the front porch. I have a very good view and the night was clear. It was just me and Miss Peepers,the cat but it was very enjoyable. Then just a few steps and I was inside in my easy chair,lol! Today was another day of eating and family... burp. Lots of laughter and fun. Tonite,I am doing some fun scrapping and then I think I will try to catch a good T.V. show and let it entertain me. Have a swell night all!  Soon Come Pam |

Pam I captured those photos in my own backyard. They were set off on the golf course about a half a mile from here so we get to watch for free! Don't even have to get in the car. LOL I have more so you may see them soon! It is the best capture of fireworks I have ever had. Have fun watching yours tonight!

Good morning Peas! Pat have a fun day looking! When are they opening your Hobby Lobby? They are closed on Sundays though.
I am going to be working in my scrap room. It has become a dumping grounds and I am going to throw everything that is not related to scrapping out of there. I am getting ready to purchase new carpet for the room and have to get it cleaned out.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend ! Kelly sounds like you and Ron are having a nice quiet weekend as Bob and I . Nylene looking forward to seeing you again soon! Sounds like you are totally enjoying your clan and the holiday. Have fun and take it all in!

Not much happening here today... so far! lol! It is another hot day but sunny and pretty clear. Hope to get out later to take a nice drive and enjoy Summer. Maybe will stop at M's to just walk around.
Cindy & Pam- How cool is that being able to see fireworks from home. Cindy you did get some great pics too.
Pam- Your pages are just beautiful! Do you ever print any of them out to hang up. They are works of art, really!

Hi ladies! Happy Sunday!!! I hope that you are all having a great day today. We've had a weekend full of beautiful weather and lots of friends. We had lunch with some old friends and their family on Friday, which was really nice...they moved away, so it had been way too long since we'd spent time with them. We also went to a baseball game downtown and watched the fireworks from there...the weather was just gorgeous and it was a great time. We had more friends over for a cook-out last night and spent some time hanging out. It's been a really nice weekend. I got a few LO's done last week, but I need to figure out where to host them to get them posted. I may try to start using our family blog again...although the last time I tried that it was a big "FAIL"...I don't think that I stuck with it very well.  Anywho, I hope that you all have a nice evening! Tina |

Kelly,my dd recently framed one of my layouts of Ruby's first birthday party with all the greats in it with Ruby. I have framed some flower layouts and I would like to do more,maybe a canvas. Thanks for asking.

Hello, all! I am a long lost Pockey Pea, and I am very thankful to Nylene for peamailing me about this board. My name is Amy and I am a mom to three kids (one boy and two girls). I am a PT for my local school system, so I'm on summer break for the moment and get to play all school year! I homeschool my kids and used to scrap continuously. However, since starting homeschooling in March, my scrapping time and inspiration hit a low for several months. I started scrapping this weekend, because of the Iron Scrapper at Scrap Orchard. I hope I can keep it up! Cindy, Pam, and Pat, your layouts are gorgeous. Cindy, I really enjoyed the fireworks layout! Kelly, I think it is wonderful that you have taken up guitar. Wow Amy so good to see you! You have been so busy with your job and your DH going back to school! These are great layouts. Love all the great color palettes and page design! Monday Monday!!! Not sure what I might get into today! I hope something fun. I worked hard in my scrap room yesterday and need to continue working with that. I am gradually going to go thru my stash and purge some of the things I don't use. But the room is coming together! I might have to sit down and scrap a page though to see how it is going to work.
Good seeing you Jen! It is so nice to see everyone -too bad it is because of Two Peas folding. It is sad that the paper crafting world seems to be folding right in front of us. I can't understand when there are so many stories to be documented. Sometimes I think things are moving way too fast.

Loving all the new pages! I didn't get anything done this weekend though. We were at the RV and while I take stuff with me, there is never enough time or room. And it was DS's 18th birthday so we were focused on that.
I have 9 pages done so far this month, and 8 more to go for this Disney trip.
I will upload pics today.

Hey we are back to Monday already!!
Jen,your description of the week-end sounds like mine,except I was not working,lol. Way too many activities,way too much food and scant rest.Oh well, I will return to normal soon.
It is cloudy,windy and humid here... possibly rain.. I have a short to-do list and that can be modified,if I choose.
We are so lucky to have this new forum... a gallery would be the cherry on top. I always went to the galleries at the old site and found so much inspiration and info.Oh well,you can't have it all.We are just going around the back way to accomplish it,lol!!
Nylene,hello,we miss you but we know you are busy and having fun.
Locococo,your pages will be beautiful and you should never compare... it's your creation and your memories. I am sure you put a lot of care and love into each one. Can't wait to see them.
