Hi, may I join in the fun? I am definitely a pokey pea, although I have never officially been part of the threads on 2Peas. I'm Ann, full time working married mom of 2 (3 1/2 and 16 months) <-- this is why I'm a pokey scrapper! I've been scrapping since I was in college, so almost 20 years, but got back into it full speed ahead after the birth of my 3 1/2 year old. SO much more to scrap now! But so much less time, lol. Such the paradox  How are you all either uploading or linking your pages? |

Welcome to the Pokey Peas! You are more then welcome to join our little group. We mainly try to encourage and inspire one another to scrap! We all know and understand that life and children get in the way of scrapping but do what you can when you can and feel like it! We are supposed to link our layouts to another hosting site as this site only has limited amount of space! So if you have a blog you can link it from there. If you post in another gallery you can link it to that site. If neither of those apply you can get an account at Photobucket for free and even keep your photos private and you can get a url from there. Not sure if you know how to link, or if you need help with Photobucket but I have tutorials if you need them. I made them up for anyone who needs them. Just l;et me lknow and I will post them here.
BTW I am Cindy-wife, mom, and gramma! I live in NE Ohio and I am a retired nurse. I have been scrapping for 5-1/2 years and do both paper and digi!

Happy Monday! Boy, the weekend went so fast. Glad everyone had a nice time. I did get to M's yesterday and enjoyed walking around and seeing the art and scrapping sections. Awww, love that store! I didn't get anything but it was just a nice visit.

Hello, hello! Anyone remember me?  I'm so sorry to be gone so long. This place has been a zoo, but so much fun. I hardly ever get to touch my ipad because some grandchild is playing Minecraft (or Crack-craft as my DD calls it, or it's plugged in recharging because it's been run out of battery playing Minecraft!! My computer has been tied up connected to the Cricut to cut out all kinds of things. But now everyone has gone home and the house is sooooo quiet. It makes me really sad to have them all leave. I am frantically making 30 rockets for our Pack Meeting Rocket shoot tomorrow night. My Cubs were supposed to help, but there were just too many people here to have the Cubs here too. I haven't read much, but will and will look at your great projects. Shirley, so glad you found your way over here! Tina, I love seeing your happy face and love your new username! So appropriate! The rest of you lovely ladies, I will catch up with you as soon as I finish the rockets! Nylene |

Welcome annechristine.... so nice to have you join the pokeys. I am Pam,widowed,retired RN,mother of 4,grandmother to 5 and great grandmother to 3. I love to scrap and make cards and often fabric crafts catch my eye too. I am looking forward to chatting with you and hopefully a few layouts too.
Nylene,have you made any time for rest?? Isn't it funny about the kids using your ipad and the battery needing charged..tech has even entered the door at Grandma's! Glad you enjoyed the visit.
Has anyone heard from Knutschen? I'm sure Nylene sent her an e-mail. Hope she moves over...
Well, I should fold the last load of laundry,then I'm scrapping. Soon Come Pam

Thank you scrapincin! I'll take a look at the pdf when I have a minute here at work (shhh!) and hopefully upload some of my pages. My SIL and I both scrap and we take pictures of our layouts to send to each other so I have my recent layouts already photographed. Thanks for the welcomes!

Hey we are back to Monday already!! Jen,your description of the week-end sounds like mine,except I was not working,lol. Way too many activities,way too much food and scant rest.Oh well, I will return to normal soon. It is cloudy,windy and humid here... possibly rain.. I have a short to-do list and that can be modified,if I choose. We are so lucky to have this new forum... a gallery would be the cherry on top. I always went to the galleries at the old site and found so much inspiration and info.Oh well,you can't have it all.We are just going around the back way to accomplish it,lol!! Nylene,hello,we miss you but we know you are busy and having fun. Locococo,your pages will be beautiful and you should never compare... it's your creation and your memories. I am sure you put a lot of care and love into each one. Can't wait to see them. Wow MissBianc-- 9 pages,you have been quite busy. Do you camp frequently? Does your family hike,fish etc? Well hello to all my cyber friends and Soon Come Pam We keep our RV at a seasonal site in an RV park. DH is a hiker but I'm not. I need to become one though because the kids love the outdoors, me, not so much. LOL We try to stay down there at least 2 times a week and on the weekends, it's shaves 30 minutes off DH's commute which is a little over 2 1/2 hours from office to house. We do have the option to use paddle boats and they have a catch and release pond there but mostly we just hang out by the camp fire and play board games. I try to get the kids to unplug while there. We also have a beach about 15 minutes from the RV so we got there sometimes. |

Thanks Pat and Kelly. The black one is the front cover. For some reason I forgot to do one for this album so I took pics from a page I ended up not doing.
We always have our pics taken with the Donald statue.
Sorry for the flash glare on that one, it was dark out and the lighting in my room stinks.

Instead of deleting them we were asked not to post our pages on here but to post them on a host site and link them here. Do You have a blog, post in another gallery or an account with a site like Photobucket. If so you can post them there copy the url and then paste the url here. Then we can click on the link and see your pages there. I have made up some tutorials that I can post if you need them. I posted the one for Photobucket earlier today for Annchristine. An account at Photobucket is free and a good place to have a back-up of your photos. All these pages are great! Love all the double pagers and great page design. Pam yours is wonderful as always! He and you are in my prayers. Cindy, I tried using the link you sent and it did the same thing as mine.....posted part of it and quit in the center of the URL. It seems like there is not enough room in the box for signatures. Don't know what else to do, so I guess I'll be Refupea-less. I am loving all the layouts posted. I can't tell from the new info posted if we can post actual pictures in the message, or just a link. I was originally told it needed to be hosted elsewhere and I understood that to mean just the link showing, but the newer rules sound like photos in messages are OK if we don't overdo it. Cindy, did you see that I finally got my Sprout? After reading 20 threads about it, I figured out that I didn't need code for the PeaNut # etc, which was filling up my signature box. By getting rid of that image and just typing it in, I could add the sprout code. Sometimes computers can be so frustrating.
